Need Soft Case - G3 Accessories

I recently purchased the Spigen Ultra Fit and found it lacking in grip and feel. Are there any softer cases that have more of a rubbery feel to it? I think they feel the best and provide the best grip.

I'm looking for this too. I tried the Ringke SF coated in white and it was not what I hoped.

I recommend the Cruzerlite Bugdroid case. It keeps the curved feel of the device while giving it a rubber type grip. It protects the device from drops too
this was the video that initially sold me on the cruzerlite TPU cases - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KY9Svj9fYVg

Yeah, there's a really subtle glitter to it in the right light, but for all the other benefits it brings I'm not gonna complain. It's VERY slim, there's not much grip to it, the cutouts are perfect, and it was six bucks. I'm not expecting it to save the thing from fall out of a moving vehicle, but for general use I think it's a winner.

Case Mate finally shipped

My case mate case for the galaxy note finally shipped and I have to say the case feels amazing in my hands, it also keeps the thin feeling of the phone. It feels extremely durable as well. One thing though the case was so god damn hard to put on i was afraid I'd break the volume rocker. Otherwise I extremely recommend this case and ill post pictures soon enough!!

I had one of these for my Inspire. I liked the feeling of the plastic as it gave some good grip but I hated the rubber portion. It collected everything including lint and it was way to tacky.
Which Case Mate is that? How does it go? Is the first layer silicone and the outer lay plastic?
Right now I have the Reiko Hybrid case -- very durable, but very heavy and thick. I'm debating getting the Case Mate, Ballistic, or Trident.

How's the weight/thickness compared to the Reiko Hybrid? Considering it was only $9.00, I got it as more of an in-between "holder" to wait off for the better companies.
I just ordered one of these coming in a couple days
Hit thanks if you like it.

Its extreemly light as if almost the case isn't there but enough to tell there's weight added. $40 is pricey but considering the quality, look and overall feel id probably choose between this and seido! The seido case looks nice i hope somebody posts a review soon

I was hoping this would be the last case I bought for my gNote. I found the Case-Mate Tough on sale on Amazon for $17.99 (free shipping) way better than the $40 retail!
My gNote is not insured so I wanted a case that would provide a good degree of protection without adding too much bulk. I felt this case would meet this need. It has a good grip and solid construction.
My only gripe is the the silicon is not tight on the edge on the top and bottom! Ugg! The hard shell does not hold the inner silicon in place on the top and bottom, the way it does on the sides. When pulling the phone out of my pocket the lose silicone drags/clings. So I think this action may make the silicone baggy/loser over time.

Comments about loose fitting silicone and the pics showing it to be a dust magnet are disappointing. I was really hoping this would do the trick. I have the Reiko Hybrid case. It's protective but it's a monster.
Now that the Candyshell case AT&T wanted $40 for is in the low $20's, I may be revisiting that. I still don't like the glossy back's scratch magnet aspects but its slim and the silicone (TPU?) layer holds tight to the surface of the phone.
I fixed the loose silicone on top and bottom with some double sided sticky tape. Works like a charm!
Now that I have had a chance to use it for a week or so, I have to agree with the OP. It feels very good in the hand and totally secure.

Good white cases?

I have a TPU case from Diztronic which is holding up well, but I really like the look of a white case on a black phone. So I'm in the market for another case.
I'm thinking about possibly the Zenus with blue kickstand
Or the Spigen Ultra Capsule
any others to consider?
The Zenus is a very (very) tight fit, and will result in rub marks on your chrome trim over time if you take your phone out of your case a lot. It also adds a lot of bulk, but at the same time is a good quality product with excellent protection.
I'd recommend the SGP Ultra over it, though. A bit glossier and it has glitter through it, but it's well-made and easy enough to get on/off without too much trouble

I've got the Zenus as well, and it does protect well, but, I agree that there will be rub marks eventually; I just ordered the trident Kraken, and plan on just using the rubber/silicone layer for around the house, and will use the entire case when the phone goes "out on the town"

That looks awesome. Pity there's no white/black one. Same with the Seidio Active.
A little disappointing tbh
they used to have white in their "Aegis" series, but its not as protective as the Krakken, and there is no kick stand, which I REALLY like..
looks like they didn't make a white aegis for this phone..

I bought 3 Pleomax Pudding. Nice tight fit, but still ply-able enough to be easy on and easy off. Tighter than the Mercury Pearl TPU.

Thinnest case

I have a Spigen Neo Hybrid but I am looking for a thinner case that adds less width to the phone. Minimal protection is sufficient.
I bought a Ringke slim on ebay. Hard slim case. 9.99. I love it. Adds hardly any size to phone and its cheap

Does it comes with the hole for sling? I used to have one for my Note 2. Slim and light but minimal protection.
I have all the spigen cases for the note 3, i think the best one is the bounce, the crappiest one is the neo hybrid.
And yes the thinnest is the bounce, and the thickest is the slim armor

search ebay for "0.3mm note 3 case". It's basically a semi hard plastic wrap/case that is super thin and only provides scratch protection. They're dirt cheap too. like $1 each. I bought a dozen and can replace them at will.

Too much bulk... And I've had bad experiences with bumpers messing up the signal. I don't really care about drop protection, just want to protect it from scratches and dirt.
Diztronic is the thinnest TPU I've used, it was ten bucks shipped from Amazon and fits in the holster that the Seido surface uses.

Agreed.. I've tried both caseology cases and also bear motion bumpers.. and some other ones. Diztronic by far the thinnest while still covering all sides of the phone.

Only the corners are protected and it's actually one of the lightest cases and since it's made of rubber you wont have signal interruptions. Only metal bumpers cause those.
Do any of the suggested covers and bumpers raise the back to protect the camera?

Just got my case today and it works great just like my Note 2 did... It's nice for scratches and covers a good part of the phone. Fits nicely and adds a nice grip to it I like better than the back.

So what's the most lightweight case with decent protecton out there?

As the tile asks.
Was going for the Neo Hybrid, but saw on YouTube videos that it adds a significant amount of bulk to the phone, also in dimensions, and it's not that sturdy anyway!
So I need a lightweight case, which will protect the phone, should have a decent amount of lip at front to protect the screen, and the case itself should not be fragile. I find it meaningless when a case requires not to be dropped. I am scared about dropping the phone, that's why I need a case at first place
I personally love UAG cases, but I don't like the hardcore industrialist look on them any more, I need something very simple yet elegant looking, like the Neo Hybrid.
Thanks.
Look at the UAG. Its pretty lightweight but may be more bulky than what you are looking for
Body glove dimensions case I have seidio surface now but does add weight because of the metal kickstand
I've been happy with my Tech21 Impact Tactical case. Good protection for when I need something besides a slim hard case.

Could you tell me does this bumper have a cutout for the microphone at lower right side of the phone (not the one at bottom), almost at the corner? Cause most bumpers don't!

Which one? Commuter or Defender?
They are the ultimate cases for protection, but then again they look very tough and rugged, which I won't like for the Note 3.
Right now the only option for me is to get a bumper, and in bumpers I can only have two, that Bear Motion one as suggested on previous page or some Amzer one, called Border Case or something, but I have no idea if that case has that cutout for the temperature sensor! Has anyone ever heard of this brand Amzer before? I certainly haven't! This is the case I am taking about,
http://www.amzer.co.in/Amzer-Border-Case-Black-P97313.htm
If that case doesn't have the cutout then my only option is to go for the Bear Motion one, but I don't think paying 2X price than what it's worth is reasonable by any means.
Lets see.

I've got the Commuter. It's a lot more elegant in reality than it looks in the pictures. (At least the black one is). But yes, it's a but bulky. It doubles the thickness if you count the rim on the front as well.
But if you want protection, something slim and sleek will not do much good. I've looked for those options, but they're all more for show than actual protection.
The diztronic tpu might be what you're looking for. Uag, spigen or especially otterbox are far from lightweight. I own the uag and I can drop the phone on any kind of surface without blinking, that case has serious protection. Otterbox is a tank, for construction people.
Yeah thanks guys.
@ShadowLea: Yeah I know that a bumper will not protect the device like an Otterbox would do or a UAG, but I am not looking for that much protection, just protecting the corners will do fine in my case, I think.
@lvnatic: Thanks. I know about UAG and Otterbox. I have used the Maverick on my S4 for a good four/five months, and it can protect the device in a lot of situations, but then I got tired of its look, too rugged, and that too when S4's backside was all glossy cheap type of plastic. For Note 3 and its backside material I can't think slapping a case on it, I just love touching that fake plastic It feels too good. If it were Note 2 or S4, I would not think a second before putting a case on it, because they felt that gross, to me.
Anyway, thanks all for the suggestions. For the time being I am going with a bumper, if I change my mind and consider a more protective case later then I will surely consider the suggested cases in this topic.
Does anybody know of a case that'll work with Samsung's wireless charging battery panel?
