Yo, I'm curious if there is a way to monetize your app with out publishing it on play store. I know that admob is working without connecting the app, but on the other hand adcolony will not send you ads if you wont provide a link to the app.
So? what do you think?

HI, I think you can contact your publisher manager, and then send him the app you own.
Then they will approve you soon.
Or you can just chose some other ad networks, such as mobvista, airpush, mobilecore and so on.

I have searched high and low for a free mobile banking app for Wachovia. The only thing that seems to be out there is their online banking "app" which really isn't an app, just a site link.

MetroTalk is my preferred client. Worth the couple of bucks for ad-free version.
I have been using admob for three months now...
i have 12 android apps requesting ads from admob...2 of them from amazon app store (added last week)..others from google play..
The problem is that since about 4 or 5 days i can't make any write changes to my account...this includes
1.cant change refresh rate..
2.cant add new apps..
3.cant modify the market url for existing app(for my new apps from amazon store,which has the same package as another app from google play.For admob it should be like same app requesting 2 ads..is that a problem?)
4.cant change colour of ads.
that's all I have checked until now..When I try any of these,i simply gets logged out from admob..then i will have to login once again..
There is no problem with reporting and revenue updates...
I have tried from Chrome and IE..i am from india..
Also,i would like to point out a change in admob login..Earlier I could login to google with another 'google id' while logged in to admob..But now it seems they are connected. Logging out of google logs me out off admob too..
is it just me or anyone else have the same experiance?

I want to backup a application of my phone for later use. (Same phone, another ROM)
Because I don't want to use google services anymore -> no access to play store.
Theres only one thing I bought and use: A game with one in-app purchrase (for opening all features, and helping the devs).
If I backup with Titanium, will these also be saved?
If no -> How would I achieve that?

You don't need to backup the app for app purchases, and that's not how they work. Usually apps will have a "restore purchases" button somewhere in the settings for that exact purpose. In app purchases are tied to your Google account.
Other times you will need to contact the developers for them to re-authorize you, but that's the rare case.

You don't.
If you use in-app purchase by Google or apps purchased on the Google Play Store, then they need to be tied to a Google account that has made the purchase. Thus it needs the underlying Google framework/Play Services. Trying to circumvent this is akin to piracy.
Apps bought on other markets use a different method of authentication (usually homemade and thus not Google driven) and obviously are not affected if you don't have Google apps.
i made this app using android magazine app maker... and now that i added the app to my admob account. the ads wont show up in the app! is there something else i need to do? i am new to this field... Any suggestions on how to make the ads visible?
