Battery and quickremote - LG G2 Mini

Hello, i have LG G2 mini 620dFR. In quickremote it has only 3 options: blu ray , dvd and tv , while G2 has air conditioners , projectors and so on.. Why i dont have that options too?
Another question is about battery i get about 2 days, is this normal ?

Two days without charging is very good.
With my usage profile i get most of the time 8-12 hours.

The battery is very good on this device if u ask me, this is what I've got with screen brightness on 30, and knock code on. With knock code off and a bit less usage it will easily get up on 1 and a half day or so

The 2-day battery

What about RAM ? Not using any apps.

Unticked the places option and changed som other settings and got some good battery life

About Battery

I am an owner of optimus one for 5 days now and I want to share some thoughts about the battery.
I know that 1500mAH is a very good capacity, but I can't say that I am really satisfied with it.
I have pretty much set everything to drain the least amount of battery, like:
A) 2G only
B) Brightness at 25%
C) GPS off
D) Auto updates all off
E) No background apps that take power and
F) Turn it off at nights.
I get about 2 days and I don't think that this is much.
How much does your optimus one last and what have you done (if anything) to optimize your battery performance??
Mine has the same battery life in the same conditions
Don't think there is anything you can do about it..
I guess all the touchscreen android smartphones are +- the same in terms of battery..
Mine lasts about the same as yours too..
I get (easily) 2 days with 3G on during the day, automatic sync of calendar and contacts & facebook app. I charge it every other night and reboot after charging.

why rebooting after charge?
I believe that 2 days that already a very good range! I mean, "cellphones" today are computers! Even without any background application opened, you always have some services running. It is normal that you can't keep it alive without charging for a weak...
Anyway I think that 2 days isn't to much and it should be better. If I'm not wrong Samsung Galaxy S keeps about 3 days and more. It have AMOLED, but more faster procesor and my phone keeps only 2 days even though I don't use it...

From my experience with mobile phones (from nokia 8310,siemens sl45,nokia 6310i,sharp 903,nokia e51/e52, k810i and now the LG P500) only the E51/E52 would last me more than 1.5days under my usage,so I consider that the lg with all of the services running can keep about 1.5days is very good...
I have a Galaxy S and it barely lasts a day - even with JuiceDefender. I'd be pretty happy to have a 2 day battery life.
Was the battery calibrated properly?
Several rounds of full charge and full discharge.
From what you say, you might have done only 2 or 3 cycles...so maybe it'll improve slightly over time.
Also 2 days is indeed good.
Samsung Galaxy also about 2 days with conservative use. 3 days is probably for highly optimized setups for juice savings, I couldnt achieve that unless I dont use my Galaxy S .
I just found this nice app that allows you to save some battery by throttling the CPU frequency to a lower value when not used: setCPU
get it for free here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505419
It does require your phone to be rooted, I'm afraid...
Here's another program which promises to do the same, free from the market:

Kinda useless, since O1 kernel already has a cpu governor that switches CPU frequency when it goes in stand by mode
Just got my Optimus... and yes, the battery life is about 2 days with moderate use.
But that seems damn good actually. Considering these are just mini-PCs nowadays. Try running a laptop PC that long on just the battery
I just tried using advanced task manager as a user said in gsmarena..
My battery lasts more one day...but the phone is a little slower too..
I currently have a Galaxy S and my missus has an LG OO what puzzles me about the LG is when you check what drains the battery (which incidently only lasts about a day with both phones) the Galaxy S screen drains about 75% of its battery but on the LG cell standby drains around 80-90% what on earth could be using so much power when in standby. There is very little syncing going on and GPS and Bluetooth etc are disabled.
Any ideas?
Weird. I got mine to last 2 days and still have ~55% battery remaining (which means about 4 days until it's completely off). My config is pretty much the same as the #1 post. I even browsed the web with wi-fi and played some games (for like 2 hours).

Battery on Xperia P

Anybody can report about battery on Xperia P? Is it have long time when we use it?

It's terrible mate. I'm returning mine to Sony. Was on 17% at 4pm, unplugged at 7am with moderate use.
Sent from my LT22i using xda app-developers app
I'm very satisfied with the battery life. I keep mobile data off except for about 1 hour per day, otherwise use wifi. Bluetooth is on whenever I'm in the car.. 2 or 3 phone calls per day on average, 5-10 text messages.
My battery usually lasts 3 days.
i will not believe this unless you post battery history screenshot.
My battery last no longer than 36 hours (from 100% to turn off) when i don't use my phone almost at all, with moderate use (3-5 calls and 10 sms), i unplug from charger in the morning and plug it back at the evening
Battery is realy good on Xperia NXT series compared to other Android devices. On my Xperia U it usualy last for 3-4 days, and it charges realy fast
Ok thanks all guys, i just want to know because i need to move to Xperia P today!!! I saw someone post their opinion that only 2hours battery life on Xperia P!!!

Here's a screenshot with my average useage. It lasts more then 2 days for me.
Also ICS on xperia P has a new standby mode, then you can stay like 1week with this if you dont use your phone, even with "normal use" you can stay like 4days
I hands Xperia P now all Say Hello to me please ^^

I am nearly always connected to wifi and I set up Juice defender in a way that it disables mobila data when connected to wifi based on location. So the straight answer is: yes.
Where is the battery history of Xpeira P?
I can't find it!
BTW I have examined battery graph/history of many android phones. this one is a bit strange.

amazing things to do with mega 6.3

way better. 6hrs SOT on a 20 hour run. absolutely phenomenal. never seen anything like that before.
/h2
Just bought the mega 6.3 a couple of days back and the battery works really well. Never used the note 2 bit way better than note 1.
Sent from my GT-I9200 using xda app-developers app
I had both notes and battery is at least as good. Certainly not worse.
BT Keyboard & Mouse
I'm using Logitech DiNivo Mini with BT Connection... works fine... and it has included "mousepad"... batterylife is no prob...
Using Simons JB v161 stock prerooted..
I have a note 3, and still have my note 2 and the mega has much better standby and screen on time...nearly double the note 3 and about 1.5 hours screen on than note 2. The mega battery life Is by far the best battery life of any device I've ever had. I run mine at 90% to max brightness and use setcpu on performance governor at max clock speed and get about 6 hours of screen on and about 24 of standby with heavy heavy use....I have gone 3 days without a charge with medium use, and about 2 to 2.5 screen on. ..and have done several battery tests lasting more than 5 days but beyond that idk cuz it still had 29% battery and 1 he 6 mins screen time lol ridiculous
Mega
Also an amazing thing i love to do with my mega.... sit and stare at the ridiculously large screen that's probably the sharpest, best looking lcd screen I've ever seen on any device.
Mega
Another amazing thing about the mega, life size midget mud wrestling video's!

qualcomm battery guru for snapdragon

I installed the Xiam/Qualcomm Snapdragon Battery Guru app recently:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiam.snapdragon.app
it seems to work well on my XZU.
I'm not convinced it's making a huge difference to battery life, but it seems to be an improvement in the three days its been active.
more info on it here:
https://www.xiam.com/faqs-snapdragon-battery-guru
is anyone else using it?
I'm using it for two days now. It says battery saving should start in 1 Day 15 hours.
So wait and see .
My question is do i have to disable Stamina mode ???

Tried it in the past, didn't noticed any difference. The thing with smartphones in general is when you're standby and don't touch the device you get good battery life. At the moment you touch the device your battery is going to be sucked dry.
Huge screen to illuminate, processors toggling up (we do want immediate response), apps are updated. And the phone is then only active. When you start using the smartphone then it goes really fast, games, movies, internet, thetering and so on.
When i'm "using" the phone at home i often put it on the charger. Sometimes i receive the message, "phone using more energy then receiving".
When you want battery life, use nokia 3310. Excellent for calling and opening beers. When you want your entire pc in a pocket, deal with the limitations of the battery.
Id have to agree, I used it on my nexus 4 and there was no difference in battery life

Guys, I have never tried Battery Guru, but I use 2x Battery and I have to say that it works great. It not only enables/disabled network access automatically, but it also has a screen filter. It it's the closest thing to Juice Defender, which was quite popular a while ago.
Sent from my C6833 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
That's exactly what I use, I find that it works only about 50% of the time and does what stamina mode is meant to do

LNIK: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2506043
didn't do anything that we could see.
Perhaps on a device that doesn't have 'stamina' mode it would be better.
Hello everyone,
I just want to share my experience with this app.
I have the Ultra for months now, i'm a heavy user, i tried a few customs roms and i'm now on stock 290. I've never been able to get more than 4h30 of screen time but usually around 4 hours, stamina mode ON, and tried a few third party app. Couldn't notice any improvements. I'm also using Greenify.
Note: Whatsapp, dropbox, google + are always allowed to run in background because i need them
So i downloaded Snapdragon batteryguru 4 days ago and it said i have to wait 4 days so that it learns my phone behaviors . I have to admit i was quite sceptical
I got a notification yesterday telling me batteryGuru is ready to start extending my battery life.
And guess what i got 2 extra hours of screen time !
Stamina mode is still enabled, low power mode disabled , wifi ON, LTE ON ( yep makes no sense if i'm on wifi but i' m too lazy to deactivate it lol ), bluetooth and GPS ON when i need it , brightness at 100 % most of the time except at night .
BatteryGuru low power mode disabled too.
I have no idea what it does to improve my battery, i know some of you can reach 7 hours without any app or stamina mode, but it all depends on how you use your smartphone and for my usage, 4 hours seems normal.
So i got 6h 14m of screen time now and of course i'm happy
Average users may not see any improvement but i recommend heavy users to give it a try :good:

[Q] battery dranning, lollipop rom

hey guys, im running v5 of twisted rom by @The Sickness. It is a flawless rom, but I was wondering how come my battery life is getting drained so fast.
Its just how it is Looks like u got many hours from that full charge though.
Lollipop drains no one has gotten to the bottom if it .
Make sure your phone is going ino deep sleep use CPU spy app.
Try to disable Volte under phone/settings
Best option to me is buy extra battery or a battery case .
Or Go back to kitkat O.S .

i have an extra battery but i don't get more than 6 hours max.
Its the o.s. the way android is Seems to get worse in time.
They don't make 5" phones to last all day
Only notes
Battery life has been the widest spread topic since day one with any phone on XDA.
Note 3...and 4 they last

I've been on twisted v5 I got two anker batteries off amazon for 28$ did a full charge made sure some settings were off
Made sure phone goes into deep sleep .
I got 9 hrs deep sleep phone went 100% to 96% drain just over night while I was asleep. I have 20hrs left before 0%
I'd suggest getting anker.
Try to adjust settings disable any built in apps unneeded.
It has to do with settings and a good battery and calibrating it.

I beg to differ. My S5 on4.4.2 lasts over a day for me with moderate use. And I had installed the custom ROM on this around Aug/Sep last year.
