Tested. It is miui v6 for mi3w but ui more stupid. I dont like flat design like ios7. Font too thin, very hard to read. Element ui is white & gray i cant separate any title and link

Whats wrong with sharing? Its not that they will stop working on the rom or lose money because we share it!
I think beta testing must be opened for everyone can address bugs but of course on their own responsibility. And that's win-win situation. Our phones on latest software and company can address bugs more quickly.

It is up to the developers to decide how they want their beta testing done. In this case MIUI is selecting the beta testers from its user base, so this is considered a closed beta test. Since it is currently closed, the test version should not be shared with people outside the approved group of beta testers.

SwiftKey posted a link to it on their twitter account. That's were I got my link and their betas have always been free so I don't think this counts as warez.

Only thing that annoys me is that popup that comes up saying what the keyboard is (you know the what's new kind of info).

They just released a new beta and I haven't had that issue anymore... Check out their vip forums for the new beta. The previous version will expire on the 8th... Happy typing!

A pre-release version of Facebook Home has leaked ahead of the planned 12th April Play Store release date (also the release date for the HTC First 'Facebook phone').
The build itself (pulled from a pre-release HTC First ROM) seems to be rather buggy and incomplete (I can't get 'Chat Heads' working for example), but it's interesting to have a play with to see what Facebook has in store for us later this week.
In order to use the leak, you need an Android device with a maximum resolution of 1280x768 and the ability to completely uninstall your existing Facebook app. This is important, as the leaked APKs are re-signed and can't just be installed over the top of an existing installation. This will automatically exclude some devices which have Facebook installed in the base ROM. If you're on a Nexus device you're good! Even if you do have Facebook in ROM, provided you are rooted there are workarounds - i'll detail these in the comments. If you have any problems installing post below and i'll help if I can.
The leak itself is 3 APKs - the main 'katana' Facebook app: DOWNLOAD (ROMraid), the now-integrated-with-your-SMS 'orca' Messenger app: DOWNLOAD (ROMraid) (orca) and the 'home' Launcher shell app: DOWNLOAD (ROMraid). Simply install all 3 and you're set - bear in mind you do so at your own risk!

The home apk won't do anything if you use any other katana apk.

According to XDA Rules, one should never create a 'placeholder' thread.
While I'm thankful people are working on it quickly, let's not forget that we should stay within the rules of XDA and upload something when it is ready and working. To me, that is the most logical way to do it.
It would be like starting a new job and telling your boss how ready you are, but walking into an office in shorts and a tank top. People would think, "Why did he say he's ready to work and ready for this job if he doesn't have the right work attire?"

Edit: As @avmabrie pointed out. This problem can be easily fixed without using Xposed. Just freezing the Gallery app is enough.
As you may already know that when you click the picture thumbnail in Snap camera (CM's default camera), it will open the last picture in the ugly Gallery app. It's very annoying to me. So I created this module.
This module will allow you to choose any apps to open the picture instead of the default Gallery.

Not to be mean I respect all work by xda developers but this fix is simple without using a xposed module. Download titanium backup. Click back/restore. Scroll until you find the gallery app (should be highlighted in red since it's a system app. Options will pop up to what you would want to do with it and simply select freeze. After it freezes you can pick what gallery app should be chosen when you take a picture and want to review it

Didn't try it. But it's hardcoded in the app to launch Gallery.

i had frozen gallery app but when i click on thumbnails in snapcamera it still won't ask me to choose gallery app (i would prefer Google photos), any idea how to fix this?
I've literally just finished freezing 3 apps using SD Maid pro. Done in less than a minute.
