Sometimes we can brick our devices by a bad unlock, flashing process, or simply bad luck.
The phone doesn't turn on and there is a Red Led Of Death when pressing power button. Even with a GREEN led when we plug the phone with back key pressed the computer detect the phone as "unknown device" so there is no chance to get fixed by Flashtool or SEUS/PC Companion.
Well this problem normally means that the bootloader is broken or damaged. So, in order to fix it we need to write a new SEMCboot and after this we were able to flash a full and fresh firmware with flashtool and unbrick our Xperia.
This process like unlocking process requires SETool dongle/box and a paperclip to make a testpoint to put the phone in flash mode and be able to write the SEMCBoot.
I can help to anyone with a bricked Xperia Arc/Play/Neo/Pro just make send me a PM.
Like unlocking process you will need this 3 programs:
SETool software for unlocking
USB Over network client for remote dongle
Teamviewer client for remote support and guide
THIS PROCESS IS FREE

Sometimes even after fix the bootloader the phone doesn't want to boot. In most cases this is by a damaged TRIM AREA (TA).
The trim area is a part of softwere stored in eeprom so it can be read and write with the proper software like SETool.
Read and Write trim area is very easy but you should know that some sectors of the TA are unique for you phone, lets call it Security Units.
The process for repair trim area is indeed very easy.
For sure we need Testpoint like in unlocking or bootloader repair process.
1. Backup Security Units with this script:

2. Write a Working TA backup from another phone (same model)
3. Restore Security Units.
Thats all, now your phone should boot well but is 90% possible that you dont get Signal so for fix that we need to unlocking.

Trim area repair process is now tested and working for NEO PLAY and ARC
SETool
When i try to start up SETool it comes up with an error message saying "SETOOL2 SMART CARD NOT FOUND" do i have to buy an setool smart card or am i missing something here?

alejandrissimo has a smart card, and you will connect remotely to it as per his instructions.

hi i find solution for my probleme i use omnius se and choose unlock network by certificat license 1day 15euro just need connect testpoint now my r800i working perfect in fastboot mode i flash doom kernel and cm7 without probleme

you don't need help by nothing and no need other software or hardware just domwload omnius buy license 1 day 15 euro for unlock android launch omnius connect server with your login and select xperia play and choose unlock by certificat connect test point push power quikly ( 3 second) disconect testpoint and put usb cable on your pc new driver found and auto install now omnius recognise your phone and unlock and repair fastboot on your phone now reboot your phone with hold search button you got a blue led conect your phone on your pc and install adb driver for fastboot now you can flash any kernel or rom in your r800i

Ok i will try this on my r800at which is now r800a by means of firmware upgrade. But i have one question. In order to hit the testpoint my phone needs to have its battery removed and if that and the USB cable are both gone will pressing the Testpoint and the Power button at the same time do anything?

I believe that's the reason why my phone says low on space and some firmwares won't flash. Im quite new to SE phones :|
pls pm me asap. im sure my semc is bad. coz now my phone won't flash any firmware. can't re unlock bootloader too.

He is highly skilled and CAN fix a bricked device, I've had help off him... even free advice on fixing it myself

hey guys I had a atrix 4g that i sold to a friend of mine. before i did i had rooted it and unlock the bootloader. so i can run titanuim backup to get m data off.
the problem is the phone now which still has stock rom on it. is giving my buddy low memory error when he plugs it into the lapdock. its has never done that before and only started now. i read on another thread that it might have something to do with the unlock bootloader or something. i didnt install any custom rom or any customer recovery on it. just rooted and unlock bootloader then got unlock code to unlock phone for different network.
any help would be great my friend really wants to use the lapdock like i used to.

You can root your phone without a pc, but for that, you'll first need to unlock your boot loader, and for that you'll need a pc.

my cell phone gave hardbrick a while back, at the time that gave it still had no solution, but now it has, however it is necessary to have bootloader unlocked and mine is not, when I try to install ROM it says that I do not have bootloader permission. I have tried to unlock, more of the failure, I tried to install the ROM by rsd plus the cell phone is not recognized. I need your help, I do not have the money to buy another cell phone.
