I check the Sony Xperia Z3 page frequently for a pre-register link or something. The UK-bros got a nice set of headphones with their pre-order.

PreOrder at Vodafone Germany
Well in Germany when u pre-order at Vodafone you get besides the normal Stereo Headset (hopefully like the ones in the Z2) the Sony MDR-10RBT Bluetooth Headphones for free (limited amount of course).

yes, you will get (the same) noise canceling in-ears like the Z2 to has.

Not in Taiwan. Standard ear buds and no dock.

****ty autocorrect xD

From what I have been told by a Sony rep the Z3 will not come with noise cancelling headphones in the box like the Z2 did.

shipped with MH750
DNC headphones truly great companion with Z2 & Z3 :good:

The Singapore set I bought didn't ship with the noise cancelling earphones in the box either.

Can anyone who has the noise cancelling headphones (MDR-NC31EM) tell me if they have an in-line remote at all please?

Just picked up a Z3 from Three in the UK. No NC earphones.

After having a quick look online the Sony websites states 'hands free calling' http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en.../digital-noise-cancelling-headset-mdr-nc31em/ so I would say yes, but not certain.

Can't see one, maybe they're built into the earpiece's?

UK Amazon stock had normal headphones. So I'll keep the NC ones I got with the Z2 if and when I sell my Z2.

the ones that handtec sells has mh750 listed

My Z3 came with the MH750 ones as well. Just read a review of the MDR-NC31EM on Android Headlines which talks about their ability to work with the Z3.
Mine are arriving tomorrow, just in time for a flight on Friday!

[Q] Best SE bluetooth stereo headphones

Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone had bought any sony ericcson bluetooth stereo headphones recently, which were they and are they good?
Cheers Ben.
Bought some knock off Nokia BH-503 for less than $20 on ebay. THey work. A little static but all the bottons work well. Pretty comfortable. But I think it makes me look fat.
Plently of cheap ones you can try on ebay.
I've got a pair of Sony DR-BT21G stereo bluetooth headphones and I'm really impressed by them.
I've previously used Nokia and Samsung bt headphones.
Pros:
- Best sound I've heard
- Comfortable
- Thin, so they don't stick out much
- They look like good quality headphones
- Reliable, they reconnect quickly and consistently
- Battery life is incredible. I think last time I charged them was in 2010.
Cons:
- Will cut out sometimes if a bag or something is put in between your phone and headphones. Not as bad as some (Samsung!). Fine if your phone is in your pocket.
- The foam is very thin and over time mine fell off in my bag, so now there's no foam.
- Bass is clean and clear but not rich and full like normal headphones
- Some slight static in quiet songs at higher volumes
Sony Ericsson HBH IS800 are a very good option. Although you don't get volume controls with then but they are light weight and also the smallest one available.

I'm using Jabra BT 620s since I had my SE k550i
Worked awsome till I changed my phone to X10i.
Headset never worked well either on Eclair nor Froyo.
Keeps lagging the music even while phone is fully charged in my pocket, not always connects with BT and even if so, I can hear dead air only. No firmware updates released.
Not recommending
MW600 works really well with 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2

You can pick up some logitech Pure-Fi mobiles from ebay they are extremely loud and have bluetooth and aux connectivity
Best on market at low price: X-Mini
http://www.amazon.com/X-Mini-Capsul...2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1311115794&sr=1-2
Got them few months ago and can´t be happier Just don't expect much bass from them, remember they're portable and cheap!!
The X-mini line also has a single speaker solution - even lower cost. Amazon carries these worldwide, or if you are in Europe you can also try pixmania.
I personally recommend this http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001UEBN42/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1311406581&sr=8-1. I own one and have a second on order. The beauty about these little beasties is the have a headphone jack and socket, meaning in theory you could plug an infinite number of these speakers together for more sound. Each has their own battery and usb charger. I paid £12 or something for mine and couldn't be happier.

Another vote for the X-Mini from me.
Awesome volume and sound from such a small device. Plus you can daisy chain them together!

I own 3 and use them daisy chained. Infact its surprisingly loud. Il tell you a good tip for them, say your in your bath room lay the speakers across the side of the bath and the bath will actually act as a big bass bin. I works really well and it makes quite a big effect on the sound. Perfect for shaving or wash time!

A4 MK-610
they are around 6-8 euros and can be found easly to buy online. clear bass with clear high tones too. pretty clean sound with no EQ enabled.
no mic on them tho.
I'm using a-JAYS Two.
With PowerAMP and DSPManager settings, sound is AWESOME
Without any EQ it little lacks in bass
Sony Ericsson Stereo Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS980. Sound is good but there is no song info on the display.

same here. powerfull bass (and i mean real bass. not that digital explosion you hear on a cheap headphone everytime the drummer hits a note), long, loong service life and great customer service. Give it a try.
Skullcandy ink'd mic'd
Hi,
i bought a Skullcandy ink'd mic'd today which was mentioned as compatible with iPhone. unfortunately it is not compatible with my Xperia Neo. I have to push down the talk button in order to hear proper sound. other times it echoes. The same headset works fine on my laptop and desktop. just letting u all know so that u dont make the same mistake I did.
Edit : Read on another thread that this can be fixed by using an 3.5mm audio M to F adapter. From what I understand it has something to do with the pin configuration.
Can anyone confirm if this is true? Then I can probably look for this adapter online. Please provide any indian link for this adapter if possible.
Thanks in advance
sure it has to do with pinout sony made a stupid decision on this one
as with chargers there should be a pinout for all earphones.
Something like this? http://www.meelec.com/MEE_TRRS_Adapter_for_P_Version_Headphones_p/adptr-trrs-35.htm

Hi,
Thank you for the link.
The TRRS adapter in the first link says : "This adapter will not enable the mic/volume buttons of a 3-button Apple compatible headset to work with non-Apple devices " so I think the Mic wont work.
The second link does not ship to India
The third link was very useful I am trying to contact sony to get the adapter

I just wanted to give you an idea what to search for, I picked some random shops. Good luck finding one!
If you are looking for earphones for the iPod or iTouch I can highly recommend Shure SE310's or Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro's. Both are excellent earphones for the money.
I use a pair of Audio-Technica CKM-55. They were on promotion and not only was the price reduced, they also gave a smartphone adapter free of charge. (works on every phone except the old Sony Ericsson Xperias and Nokia, the new Sony Xperias work from what I've heard)
That's really weird . Long time ago I brought an urban ears headphone . Once I plug into my Mini Pro / Neo V , the system will prompt a message indicate this is not a official device and refuse to work . There are some additional converter bundle in the package but none of them work (except the audio only one) .
Recently I flashed a 3rd party ROM , and , the headphone now works flawlessly with Nokia converter ! How amazing !
I changed the bundled headphones 3 times before I got tired of going to the store I bought the phone. One of the plugs would always get a lower volume then the other. So I bought these Phillips she9005 in-ear headphones I while back. Quality is good, and they are built a way which make the suitable when you do sports. You can get them with or without mic. I have the version without.
Am using sony livesound hi-fi headset. These are awesome.

all those which work with xperia z will work with the tablet.

There are two standards used for 3.5 mm audio jacks, OMTP and CTIA/AHJ. The Xperia Tablet Z uses CTIA/AHJ. OMTP type headphones will not work with the Xperia Tablet Z unless accompanied by an OMTP-to-CTIA adapter cable, which costs around $5.00 USD.

Basically, there are two headphone standards. Let's call them type A and type B. Sony has used type A for all its devices until 2012, until with S, they started using the B type, and every device since then by Sony uses type B. Apple has always used type B, that's why it works.

These type of earphones are called earbuds.
I have bought mine from Aliexpress (a site like ebay), and they have been working great so far.
If you actually enjoy music, pick up one of these to try with a decent pair of headphones. Sky's the limit price wise on headphones so it depends on your budget. If you want a good cheap pair i would recommend these.
I strongly recomend Philips SHE8005 headphones .

I was just looking at that Aliexpress, http://gaga.aliexpress.com/210698610-1110017854-detail.html?spm=a2704.6645961.3.1. Whoa.
Must be some fake or something
Not sure whether it is fake, but we will never know. I have seen some of these extreme deals on aliexpress, the fact is that there are only 5 for this price and they run out as soon as the deal comes alive (= in less than a second) However, I do not recommend buying such things, the devil never sleeps.
But what you would buy on ebay, you can buy from aliexpress too, I did not have a single problem with them and they have a large selection of earphones/earbuds/headphones.
I recommend Panasonic RP-HJE120-K, they'r cheap and play very good, like hi-end earphones if You like warm, clear sound, especially with V4A.

Fiio amps (or portable amps in general) are really intended for full-sized over the ear headphones. The added power is much more apparent because IEMs (earbuds) are already running at just about the peak of their power. I will say, though, that I own a Fiio E6 with a pair of NuForce NE-700M (a top-ranker in multiple sub-$100 quality lists, including Wired.com; can be had for $75, $65 without the microphone), and there is a notable difference in dynamic range and achievable volume.
