First you have to unlock the bootloader somehow... It sucks, because I didn't succeed with any tool or any other way. The only way is to stay with 4.2.2 from baraljabi (don't know if I spelled it correctly) and work around the recovery image (which is a CWM file used to boot into using ADB) that allows you to install GApps and SuperSU.
That's a fake root, but at least your phone is rooted and you got GApps and stuff...
The thing is to get access to the bootloader... then to overwrithe that recovery with a custom image... This is the hard part...

[Q] Stock recovery, no fastboot, boot looped = bricked?

I posted this earlier but a person by the name of "darth" told me to post here.
Phone: Kyocera Hydro XTRM (metropcs)
Stock rooted, stock recovery
Have nandroid
I messed with root files thinking "I can just go fastboot and flash it if i need." Sadly I think this phone has no fastboot. Computer doesnt detect phone in recovery but it tries to detect it as it is bootlooping. Not enough time for it to detect fully or to adb install something.
Does this mean my phone is straight up bricked?
Hey guys... My xolo q500 is bricked. It stucks at the logo and doesn't go further. I was trying to install cwm recovery. But cwm was not available for my device so i tried to flash cwm of some other device from the rom manager. It was of xolo q700.But now my phone niether boots up normally nor boots in the recovery menu. It stucks at the xolo logo. I googled but i found unbricking methods for mediatek devices via sp flash tools but my device is qualcomm based so that didn't worked. Please help me how can i unbrick my device? Is there any method to unbrick qualcomm based devices?

MALATA N-402 Root

Hello I bought this phone MEO Smart A30 (Portuguese network) i try to root with Kingo and phone is recognized like MALATA N402. I have tryed adb tools and fastboot and almost everything with no success. And there is not a lot of information about this phone or rooting it on the net.
and fastboot is not supported by the phone.
May someone help me to unlock it's bootloader so that I can install custom roms on it?
About the phone:
Android version
4.4.2
Baseband version
MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V36.P25, 2015/12/08 14:45
Kernel version
3.4.67
Build number
SDT-N402-V1.1.3
Thanks,
André Cunha
I bought one this summer, got root and custom recover (twrp) on it.
it's a mtk6572, you'll need "sp flash tool" to flash the recovery (after reading the "scatter" from the phone to get addresses right. Sorry can't remember exactly what i've done, but thos where the tools and it's possible to get a decent recovery on it.
Thank you man.

just install twrp then install supersu v.2.71 binary update from TWRP. if u dont want a permanent TWRP recovery, extract the recovery.img then execute command "fastboot boot recovery.img" (assuming you already have the driver and fastboot.exe), and install the supersu binary update like usual. google it. or just port A6000+ recovery
I think you have to unlock the bootloader first. I have tried this option a few times and whilst it says it writes the recover.img, it boots just the same.
Hello!
I'm looking for a way to root my Lenovo A6010.How do I make a full backup of its ROM before I make any changes (like rooting or tampering with the boot loader)?
I could not find a TWRP for Lenovo A6010 on their official page. Can you please explain in more detail what modifications I have to make to obtain root privileges?I found 2 threads where the owners complained about bricking their phones with KingRoot.I need root to uninstall all the bloatware and to remove write restrictions from my SD card. Thanks in advance.
Later edit: I found a procedure for A6000 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a6000/how-to/root-root-lenovo-a6000-plus-lollipop-t3199532 that worked for me, I had to change the TWRP img from the package provided there with the one for A6010, you can find it on the 4th page of the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65346556&postcount=33 .
The good thing is that by following the A6000 tutorial TWRP will behave like a Linux Live CD, and the only modification to the phone's OS will be the installation of SuperSU.No changes to the bootloader or recovery partition.

Tablet pc help.Dont click if you dont know about tablets

So,I decided to download a bunch of xposed modules on my generic tablet and i used the APM+ module and rebooted into the bootloader. However it is stuck at boot and i cant do anything.I already drained the battery and still it doesnt even go to thr lock screen.I also tryed to hold the power button down but same thing.I have the firmware for it but i dont want to lose everything on my tablet.I dont remember what modules i installed but i think it was a adblocker,a lucky patcher xposed module, apm module, and thats about it.I tryed connecting it to a pc and installing adb drivers but in adb theres no devices. Its a quad core a33 tablet created by IRULU it has 16gb of storage and 400mb ram.It was rooted with kingroot using dragonface with is a custom rom creator for windows. The tablet has the lastest version of busybox and adb was activated before this happened.I also gave adb root permissions in kingroot. The tablets is a couple months old.Its a IRULU x7 tablet with no bluetooth or g-sensor.It has 2 cameras. No custom recovery.I dot have any mods on its except for xposed. Its is andriod 4.4.2 kitkat OS.Which has volume buttons. Can anyone help me.Thank you.Let me know if i need more info.[emoji2] by the way i think i activated about 6 xposed modules all at once[emoji12]The bootloader is locked since it is a custom rom.I just injected su files into the system root.
A custom rom doesn't have a locked bootloader and if you flashed xposed then you can flash the Uninstaller.
I'll be honest with that ram alone you are gonna be out of luck. The min ram for android to even run semi well is 512mb. Anything less and the system will have issues.
ok.I will have to reflash the tablet

Just use the xposed uninstaller. This will save you from reflashing the device.

i dont have a custom recovery to flash the file because none exist for my brand. And to make it worse,I cant even boot into recovery because its stuck on the first startup screen.ADB drivers are installed but adb devices not showing up.I know that i activated adb incase something like this happened and i let Kingroot give adb root permissions as well.

Unlocked and Rooted E2312 but cannot get into bootloader

Hi . Ive already unlocked my E2312 , and rooted with an app . But the problem is i cant seem to get into adb fastboot mode to flash the custom recovery
any ideas ?
Which app you use for rooting? There is good topic in forum for rooting and installing of TWRP (Recovery) - you need to follow all steps inside. Before this check that all adb drivers are successfully installed and working on PC.
Ive read what i can to open at least into adb mode but to no avail haha
I cant open into bootloader mode , no recovery mode even if i already unlocked it.
I tried rooting it with the one click app roots since i cant get into recovery mode, i used kingoapp . got my root , and tested some rooted apps like titanium backup and flashify . All seem to work normally
I tried using flashify to flash the recovery.img but as soon as i tried to pick the image inside my internal phone , the app got stuck . But besides that if i were to pick any other settings it would be just fine .
P.S M4 Aqua E2312
If you can't open adb then maybe drivers are not installed correctly on PC. Which operation system you use - if it's windows 10 then there is special procedure for installing. You need to disable drivers checking by windows to be able to install them - use Google to find how. After successfully installed drivers you need to approve connection with PC on your phone - message will appear on the screen of phone. After this you can install kernel and TWRP via adb.
This is the only way to root our phones. I also try Kingroot and one click root app at the beginning but it won't work properly.
