if you are using my bridge then whatsapp messages will appear as SMS. at this point you can reply as they were normal texts.
how do I disable the default messenger and only get wear messenger notifications? just downloaded the app like 2 seconds ago lol looks great!

you can do that within the android wear app. touch the gears in the top right and then disable apps notifications.
Would it be possible to have the an option to mark the message as read like in the stock app?

what I meant is it could be done only with root, but it is a feature that is not currently available. I'll see what I can do
Sorry, I thought it was possible at the moment. The only reason why I'm not using wear messenger as a default sms app is that I can't just mark sms as "read" (it's what I do most of the times). Thank you so much for considering the request.
Can you add the hangout to wear responses by wear messenger?

Hi guys, I need your help.
I keep getting "the side button do not work on the 360" reviews on the Playstore and I don't really know why,since I don't have a 360 and in the emulator everything works as expected.
Anyone with this issue?
When I try to send a text thru the app it shows as being sent, however on my phone the message isn't there and the person never received the message.

It took a while to figure out, but it seems the little envelope on the side gets mistaken for the button to pull up the quick replies.
question about sending
How do you send messages starting anew such as hitting the wear messenger name I said the name of the contact and the message but how to send it because when a hit the button that was under the microphone it didn't send anything

It would need to remember numbers so that it only replies to each number once in a given time period (it may do this already.)

Hi davey1980,
I can certainly put that on my list of future implementations and try and work it into the next version. I may be able to spend a bit of time on it this week so I may be able to get a release out before next weekend with that feature in.
With regards to downloading, if you left click the attachment you'll get the cab file to download. I just tried right clicking and "saving file as" and that gave me the php file.
If you're still struggling, email me at [email protected] and I'll mail the cab file over to you.

I shall certainly be working in a whitelist into the next version. I was thinking of custom messages per whitelisted number too.
If you can think of anything else, let me know!

great! because my main purpose of using this app is to send sms to several contacts in my whitelist, but i wouldn't want to send a reply to all of my received sms'

Just uploaded version 1.3.5.0 with the option of using the blacklist or the whitelist for SMS replies.

Hey yall!
I bought my Mom a TF201 for Christmas. She doesn't have a cell phone, but would like to take advantage of a texting app, so that she can text my sister and I, like apps that are available for iPod Touch or the iPad. Is there an Android app that will set her up with a phone number to send and receive texts from? I've tried TextPlus and TxtMe but both are designed to sync up with an android phone, which is of course practical, but not something she has. We live in Canada, so sadly, Google Voice is not an option, which breaks my heart, I love Google Services, and wish we had access to GVoice here.
If anyone can offer me some suggestions, that would be great!

i know is insane but short reply is very useful and i think is cool to have a keyboard for gear fit hope someone can make this happen:angel:
A swype keyboard so it is easier to type.
i dont think keyboard a good idea,but if text template for quick replay maybe better

Text response templates are built in. Edit them with the Manager app on the phone.
I will prefer keyboard too cause for template we only can reply on sms but not on others. Beside if let's say u need to reply other words urgently. We have to reply on phone. When e.g. your phone is quite far from u.

you can try Gear Fit Message : Please search it on Play Store with keywork : Gear Fit Messages. I can't post link here.
I've installed the gear fit messages app, it works ok for sms, but you can't use it for whatsapp or anything else.
I found the application only in the Latin alphabet. Could someone make it in Cyrillic?

This module helps you avoid some annoying contacts/messages on WhatsApp:
- It stops sending read receipts (blue marks) until you reply
- It stops sending availability status until you interact with the contact
- And it stops sending the composing/typing status
This module should support WhatsApp 2.17.x and newer versions only.
As many of you know, WhatsApp app is proguarded, which means the classes names may change on each new official update, that's why i use a brute force method to get the right hooks, this way the module should keep working over many WhatsApp new updates.
The module is open source, you are welcome to help with coding and bugs reports on the module's Github repository.

What do you mean by popup? Quick reply?
Actually I was expecting the opposite.
According to the way I implemented the module, your WhatsApp client should not send any read receipt for a message A until you reply, then if the other person reply again with C it gets marked blue but A "may" not get marked.

yes i mean quick reply, actually i experienced it only with some one. whatsapp has a feature in security that does not sends read message but if you enable it you wont see other's read message to

Quick replies should behave the same way as normal replies, so the next received messages should be marked.

Actually i made it for my own use, and honestly i'm not planning to add more features for this module.
Can you explain how marks work on group conversations? i guess it gets marked when at least one participant read it, try it with a group and let me how it behaves.

Yes you can still use the first release if you don't want to send any read receipts.
By the way i just posted a minor update 1.3 to fix an inactivity timing bug.
Who test this new update? It is not work for me!!??

Still think it is crazy that on iOS, jailbroken version of Whatsapp has so many mods and yet on Android there is nothing, so thanks for sharing what was a personal project for yourself.

You must be activated from the privacy options of WhatsApp, the option read confirmation, and when in a conversation, you send messages, you can see when they have read, but when they will send to you, they will not know if you have read the message.

v1 will never show read receipts? and v4 will show read receipts only when you answer a message?
