[Q] How to open the housing

Can someone give me a hint how to open the housing in order to reach the Power button?
There a 2 screws below the battery cover. removing the screews will loosen the cover a little. However, the frame is still fixed. Where are the rest of the screws?

[Q] Automatic screen power on when we open the case

Have orderd MoKo case , Got it yesterday. The question is , Is ther any apps to work with these cases to switch of the screen when we close the flap and switch it on when we open the flap.
I tried Cover Gini / Cover Senor / KillSwitch , But none of them work with TP.
Are there any other method we can try ?

Best Holster Combo Kickstand Belt Clip Hard Case Cover for the money...

Thin profile... very well protected...it doesn't break your bank...and may I say ...even surpassed seido's "thicker" design
Fits all models of the note
allowed the device to be faced in or faced out ... and 180 degrees insertion ... also the rotating/adjustable stand makes it endless "parking" configurations
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/180862213711
The description said "hard ABS" but in this "case " ... it's hybrid.... I would described it as 70% hard combined with 30% soft... very comfortable...thin and NON-slippery !!
It clipped onto the chrome sides SECURELY ... leaving your top surface free... very compatible with thick screen protector(s) ( GLAS.t ... Realook...etc )
I love this case !!
P.s... I bought the GLAS.t ... installation wasn't great... if anyone's interested... the "Realook brand" is practically identical but half the thickness with half the surface rating (hardness of 4H compared to 8-9H) ... you really don't need that much... IMHO ... and the S-Pen works on it just like the original glass screen without leaving any dent or stickiness... glide like GLASS/GLASt <<--
Plus... You get 2 for half the price... and the installation - ( see technique below ) - is very forgiving !!
the result of my Realook is "FLAWLESS !"
using this technique:

The phone have the "Skinomi carbon fiber" full body protector minus their wet application screen protector ( went with Realook )... and it fit the case just fine...
Noticed there's a cut off of my "Realook Screen Protector" around the left side of the front speaker ?? ( 2nd last pic )
accidentally lifted that area when squeegeeing so I had to take drastic measure.... cut just a small tip ( gives it characters ...LOL )
Does nothing in diminishing the protections... etc
This looks awesome!

I got one in black. I can confirm that it is a pretty nice case, especially for the price paid. Good, hard(ish) protection. Padded where needed. Very versatile case. Moves in all positions.

BEST CASE "AT&T" tilt 2

Finally i have found a solution after buying 5 different phone cases as my "at&t" tilt 2 is old but reliable phone i use an energy rom and works flawless Here are the two links to buy the necessary parts and it is easy on pocket as well step by step process
Step One : purchase "AT&T HTC Tilt 2 Monaco Flip Type Leather Case"
wirelessground is where i found mine and shipped in four days
Step Two : purchase Oem case-mate htc tilt 2 naked clear shell case for your "AT&T" tilt2 i found mine on amazon for around 5usd and shipped in 5 days
Step Three : install the Case-Mate plastic cover over the back of your "at&t" tilt 2 and set the front aside you don't need it.
Step Four : open your keyboard and tilt your screen up on your "at&t" tilt 2 and slide the plastic over your keyboard "NOTE" it will be very tight that is what you want be gentle.
Step Five : Where the plastic part is that covers your keyboard where it runs to the velcro strip carefully cut evenly down to make straight line and cut the velcro attachment off this thing is pointless "NOTE" make sure you keep plastic covering keyboard as this helps the phone never fall out, mine lost its velcro after one week and my phone fell out of the case. Where the remaining velcro flap is on top right of phone case just cut that evenly.
Thank you everyone users/staff that keep this site going i hope this was very useful to those who are still in the dark ages of wm6.5 and have a phone like mine. lol I am in masonry and this thing you could drop off scaffolding and it wouldn't break or fall out of the case any questions just ask i will help to my knowledge ciao - dagohill
Hey - I'm an electrician (among other things), and I need a phone that's 'strong enough to protect itself'. I can put this facedown (in a Otterbox) to my leg in a pants pocket and crawl around in a crawlspace and not worry about it. (My aunt's Droid Razr's big wide and thin screen would be in pieces internally after 1 trip!) I like thick old phones!
By the way, I got that Monaco book case for the wife - she loves it!

Mod: Xperia Z2 w/ case to work with DK36 dock

I got tired of taking off my case every time i charge my phone,.... so i did alil bit of modification and i thought I'd share with you guys and maybe find it helpful,...
ok,... the case that i have is a Ringke FUSION Xperia Z2 Bumper Case,... i also have a Spigen Ultra Fit which like a lot,... but I've been using the Ringke FUSION coz i think it has the best protection all around,....
your going to need a Dremel for this modification or something similar
1.) your going to need to open the Sony DK36 Magnetic Charging Dock (don't forget to remove the adapters that goes into the charging port slot),... once it's open,... your going to want to raise the magnetic port so it can reach the cellphones port when you have the case / bumper case on,.... i used a 3M double sided tape (which is 1.90mm thick) so the magnetic port can be raised permanently (as you on the picture) (and don't forget to remove the USB cable while working on it)
2.) this is where you need the Dremel or something similar,..... make your marking on your case on where your going to cut out the hole,..... i used the Dremel with a grinding tool with a small tip,.... remember to start small and slowly make your way out (don't forget to remove the phone off the case when you start griding / cut),.... use the magnetic charging port as reference to how much you should grind out / cut out,.... every now and then test fit the case to the magnetic port charger,....
3.) by now,.... your magnetic charging dock should be closed and back together,..... your not going to need any of the adapters anymore,.... try testing the phone with the case to the magnetic charging dock,.... it should fit and charge your phone already,... if not,... grind alil bit more on case so that it clears the charging port completely,..... if that still doesn't work,... you may need to open the DK36 Magnetic Charging Dock again and raise the port alil bit more,....
4.) this part is optional,.... but i did this mod to give the phone more back support,.... i found a old CD case that i wasn't using and cut out a small piece,.. about the same size as the back panel,... grind the plastic until it fits on the back panel just right,.... i used a 3M painters tape to keep the plastic piece attached to the dock,.... (the 3M double sided tape was to thick and wouldn't allow the charging port the join,.... thats why i used a thinner tape on the back of the small plastic piece,.... just roll the tape together to make it a double sided tape)
(you'll see on the picture how the small plastic piece looks like with the charging dock)
Opening the dock
How can we open the dock? It's made of so premium plastic that I am not able to open it. Can you please post a video on how to open the dock? I have a flip cover which just uses the magnet to stick but does not charge because the golden pins are not able touch each other. Just write a proper step by step on how to open it or post a video.
sorry about that,... but its kinda late for me to do a video on how to do this mod since I've already done it,...
but i can still help you,...
i kinda had a hard time opening the dock to,... and learned my lesson,... so here's what you gotta do,...
on the bottom dock,... you would see a grip tape around the surface of the dock (it helps keep the dock from moving around the table)
there are 2 screws holding the dock together,.... and they are located on the side where the grip tape is at,..... so its actually covered underneath the grip tape (the middle section of the side grip tape) just remove a small portion of the grip tape so the screws can be revealed,.....and just remove it with a small screwdriver,.... (use the first picture that i posted as reference to get an idea on where the screw mount is at)
i hope that helps,....
SCR10 official case
I have bought my SCR10 official case, from ebay this seller: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/London-Magic-Store
You can use magnetic dock with it
It seems totally legit to me, I've made a small review, check it out.http://www.4gnews.pt/sony-xperia-z2-flip-case-scr10-review/
Really awesome and quiet cheap flip-case.
Tell me what you think
yeah i saw that case,.... i was thinking about getting it but i didn't really want a flip cover case,... while it gives you protection on the LCD screen,... it also has some down side like holding it up like a book when taking a picture,...

You are the best. After reading and following your instructions million a times finally I could achieve what I desired. I just made a few arrangements from my side as my cover is the ultra slim 0.3 mm which required only a small amount of tweaking.
You can see in the pic below that I used the plastic in both the ends with double sided tape because the Z2 used slip out of the dock sometimes.
Again a very big thank you for solving this issue for me.i was a bit afraid that what would happen if my charging flap came out. But you solved it for me. Keep up the good work
I´ve this case http://www.ebay.com/itm/11135176963...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 and fit to dock very well.
