Font size issue.!!
I have changed my font size to tiny.. But still the texts appear big in the screen..
In settings & app drawer screen it look good. But in contacts, home screen, dialer, Icon size..etc everything look big and not able to reduce the size.
KitKat clock is not working fix it soon and can you develop the cm11 for s duos...waiting for your next cosmic ROM update!!!!

For clock issue go to settings-> apps manager-> find the clock and clean cashe and data!
I think cosmic rom is till now the best rom I ve used as it gives me around 361 mb fee space which is sufficient to play asphalt 8 and MC4.
I can even play both these games simultaneously without any lag.......

Best Performance ROM for galaxy s duos
I have been trying and testing almost all available custom roms for samsung galaxy s duos. Considering performance , i dind find even a little glitch. This is totally a awesome piece of work.

Go to Settings > Application Manager > Kitkat Clock and press Clear Data (had same problem)

Hello gentlemans , yesterday i`ve rooted my GT-S7562 (Galaxy S duos) , step-by-step as described here on Xda , installed Cosmic V2 (without sim in the phone) then Updated to Cosmic V2.5 (works perfect 5/5 star rating)(again without sim in the phone) but i have a really big issue .. my phone doesn`t find my network as before (sometimes finds it - 4 bars , sometimes even with sim out of the phone bars are there, it happen to get 3 messages this morning ) .. i`ve read the "thing" with the home + power button (phone shut down) , removed the battery and hold power + home for 2 mins (now i don`t see any bars .. if i type a number it says "Mobile Network Not Available" , if i go to Settings > Mobile networks > Network operator it says "Error while searching for networks" .. On About Device > Status : Network : Ro Orange / Signal Strength -113 dBm 0asu / Mobile network type : Unknown:0 / Service State : out of service ..

Try to flash via Odin the latest baseband for Romania or a European baseband(I am from Greece but I use France baseband I think have better modem) and step by step to install the Rom is: boot your phone at custom recovery mode, choose wipe data/factory reset then wipe cache, go to advance and wipe dalvik cache and battery stats, go back and choose zip from sd card install cosmic v2 and after install complete install v2.5, once you install finish reboot your phone. If you get bootloop(you see the Samsung logo and wait up to 6-10 mins and the phones light buttons dont light yet) then pull out the battery bring it back and boot the phone at recovery mode and clean data/factory reset again and wipe cache and dalvik and reboot.

thank you for reply sir .. but i didn`t quit untill i fix the issue on my own .. noo need for re-flash entire ROM on the phone , just a ".bin" file .. i read alot and i`ve found a simple way to change the baseband as described here :

stuck on activation
I heard about this rom people having no problem . But i m stuck on the activation sim card thing. i m using airtel simcard and on baseband :s7562dxlh4. i kinda tried almost every rom and getting the same prob but atleast this rom reached till activation but stuck. pls help me.
I have s duos 2 and my bro has s duos .. can I install it on my S duos 2 ? And if not .. is there is another custom rom with any android version upper than 4.2.2 ? And I am going to install it on s duos for the first time .. is there is any problems I will meet because the instructions of installing I can't understand

Step by step to install the Rom is: boot your phone at custom recovery mode, choose wipe data/factory reset then wipe cache, go to advance and wipe dalvik cache and battery stats, go back and choose zip from sd card install cosmic v2 and after install complete install v2.5, once you install finish reboot your phone. If you get bootloop(you see the Samsung logo and wait up to 6-10 mins and the phones light buttons dont light yet) then pull out the battery bring it back and boot the phone at recovery mode and clean data/factory reset again and wipe cache and dalvik and reboot.

I tryied all but every time the same.... I flash stock Rom.., flash "breakfast Kernel".., flash "Cosmic Baseband".., flash all together...., try to "mount" system/data/SDcard.., NOTHING..!!! I have tried it 14 times..!!! Every time after install the Rom.., or it reboots all the time.., or stucks in Samsung logo.... I don't know what else to do..... Maybe i do stng wrong....
If someome knows from begining (what Rom.., Kernel.., Baseband.., etc) what to do to put this Rom and tell me.., i would be very happy..!! I live in Greece.

Finaly i instal the Rom with @GiannisSma help..!!!
The Trick was to put both (v2 & v2.5) Roms to SD and not to reboot when instal Cosmic_v2 and instal immediately from CWM the Cosmic_v2.5 and then reboot....!!!

Brick need help
Hello everyone, Today I want to proceed with the update of my Galaxy SII; going from version 4.0.3 SFR LP8. In the latest (4.0.8 the UK / Ireland). All goes well, I do not wipe, as I thought it was a simple update. After restarting the application have much force close, so I'm automatically a Wipe Data, Wipe and / Dalvik-Cache. - It worked!! I have more strength close .... But another bug happens, the bug su "Insufficient Storage". When I download ANY APPLICATIONS, I can not install it, an error message tells me I have an insufficient storage, despite my 6GB free on the SD-EXT, on the 8GB SD-INTERNAL and about 600MB memory to another (I forget the name) all for a 24 MB application - Well I decided to do this time if a Wipe / Factory Reset and then there is a problem ... The Wipe-starts well, and I notice after a few seconds, it is unusually long, so I wait. Suddenly the phone reboot normally ... but remains fixed on the bright S boot .... So I tell myself I'll do it again And Ben-IMPOSSIBLE, I no longer have any access to the Recovery mode by mode against Donwload works "perfectly". I can not do the wipe, or to install zip, or anything that is related to Recovery. - The problem does not stop there, even trying Gingerbread version 2.3.6, root, NO access to recovery. - Here is a diagram for you better understand: I think a phone boot this way: PC: GALAXY S2 -BIOS - dowload (screen with the name Galaxy S2) -BOOT - RECOVERY (S logo screen glossy) -SYSTEM - ROM (For my normally leave the 4.0.4) And I feel that the recovery mode is buggy. Ko, Here goes. If you can get into download mode update cwm through Odin. Then assuming you can get internet access I'd reccomend flashing siyah kernal (all ready has root no need for cfroot then flashing more. Then try your steps again.

My issue is my signal strength ll be good, But when i turn ON data it wont turn on at all until i do a reboot.. after reboot it appears and after sometime if i turn OFF the data I cant turn it ON until next reboot. This was the issue with Cmiui also... Anyone pls reply on this issue.. Awaiting for reply...

[Q] ROM & Recovery Questions and answers for MTK6577 N7300 Android 4.1
I have many questions about my Changjiang N7300 Android 4.1 phone. When the phone starts the Splash screen says Samsung SIII GT i9300. Does this mean anything? I have two factory reset screens, both in Chinese. One is called a 1225 Recovery System from Taiwan101. Is this the same thing as the ClockWorkMod Recovery or is related to “recovery.img” used in flashing a ROM, or is it a Factory Reset system? The translation of the options available in the 1225 Recovery System are: - start system - select update from SD card root directory - clear Data/restore factory status - clear Cache sector - select update from SD card - backup and restore - mount and save - advance - shut down phone - +++++ back to previous menu +++++ Is there a ClockCorkMod Recovery available for this phone? Is there any English Recovery System available? My reset key combination is: Power + Volume_down + soft_button_back Use volume to move up & down the menu Use Power to select The other system seems to be a factory reset that is built into firmware. It offers these menu options and many other screens which appear to be diagnostics. factory mode total debug single index debug debug report clear MMC version information reset phone. Most of the buttons to use the system are the same as the other recovery system, but to select an option you press the soft_button_home. All you can do with this system is get the phone started. There is no apparent way to flash a ROM.
ROM options What is the best ROM available for this phone? I had good luck with one from Taiwan101 Taiwan101_ChangJiang-N7300_JB_V.04.3.zip But the most recent and the one I am using now is: Taiwan101_ChangJiang-N7300_JB_V.05.0.zip I tried an Omega ROM here: kitchen.indieroms.net But it didn’t work. Note I tried to post the links to these ROM, but they won't let me. Hope you can find them.
Support I wanted to post some links to some support pages I found, but I can't. Maybe you can search Google to find them. Why is there no support for these 7300, 7100, 7180, 9300 etc. etc. MTK65xx phones? I found a Japanese page with support for my N7300 on this web site: bygzam.seesaa.net ( under this article) 317473173 That page was developed from a Russian page that is a little easier to find.. Is there better support available in English?

problem with a311 i used this rom it has same issues like other roms volume getting down..,,, sensors not working.....,,,,

And when you say that some Gravity box settings don't work,can you give us an example?Can you edit the quick settings tiles? I am using v2 since the beginning,very good rom. The only bugs it has (and they are quite annoying) are that on some settings pages the changes you do don't stay after a reboot. The settings that do that are: 1) usb debugging (turns off by itself on reboot) 2) accessibility/services (most of the times after a reboot the checkboxes of the apps that require a constant service running,switch to ''off'' 3) autostart management (your settings do not remain after a reboot) 4) sometimes when you are using 2 sim cards when you turn data on and off from quick settings tiles,the rom can't remember for which card you turned data off and when you re-enable data it enables data on the other sim card than the one that you had previously turned data off. If you could fix these,along with some lag/game performance issues that are present on v2,this rom would be excellent! The volume steps are also not set good.The first volume step after complete silence is WAY too loud!

Click to collapse hey Bro, I am afraid my A310 phone is bricked now. I had the android L ROM by pintothakur installed on my phone using TWRP touch recovery (Red) before. Today when i tried to install this Xtremevanilla ROM on my phone (after clearing cache, delvik cache and system) i selected both zip files vanilla and xposed patch and tried to install but it failed. I dont remember the error . Then i tried once again with only Vanilla zip file this time but it failed again. I think then I made a mistake of restarting the phone (without installing another ROM ) It asked me that my phone didn't seem rooted and if i wanted to install SuperSU . I selected installation of Superuser. And after that the phone restarted but could not get past the micromax logo. I tried pressing Vol down button and power button together to go into recovery mode or pressing Vol+ and power for a fast boot, but notihng worked. and now my phone doesn't go beyond that logo. So, is there any way I can get my phone back . Any help from anybody would be really appreciated. And I'm sorry if I'm asking this in a wrong forum. Thanks in advance guys. P.S. is there any chance it happened because of some clash in SuperSu Pro already installed on phone and the one it asked me to install after ROM install failure? And I would also like to tell that when i connect it to my laptop it shows one battery charging logo with battery almost nil though LED doesnt show any color for charging battery. I dont know how it could drop to zero as i tried rom installation when battery was more than 60%.

Today when i tried to install this Xtremevanilla ROM on my phone (after clearing cache, delvik cache and system) i selected both zip files vanilla and xposed patch and tried to install but it failed. I dont remember the error . Then i tried once again with only Vanilla zip file this time but it failed again. I think then I made a mistake of restarting the phone (without installing another ROM ) It asked me that my phone didn't seem rooted and if i wanted to install SuperSU . I selected installation of Superuser. And after that the phone restarted but could not get past the micromax logo. I tried pressing Vol down button and power button together to go into recovery mode or pressing Vol+ and power for a fast boot, but notihng worked. and now my phone doesn't go beyond that logo. So, is there any way I can get my phone back . Any help from anybody would be really appreciated. And I'm sorry if I'm asking this in a wrong forum. If you could fix these,along with some lag/game performance issues that are present on v2,this rom would be excellent! And I would also like to tell that when i connect it to my laptop it shows one battery charging logo with battery almost nil though LED doesnt show any color for charging battery. You can flash fresh stock rom using YGDP tool! You need to download your stock ROM first! Head over to needrom.com for stock rom & flashing guide!

Great rom, dude... Flashed using twrp 2.4.4. Let me notice that.. -There's no brightness set to auto tile visible on notification pull down menu. -Can't save Facebook photos, screenshots etc on sd card. Xposed module has no effect. I tried with picture2sd but still nothing. -some smalli texts get cropped downsides. For example, check gravity box-lockscreen tweaks Look at the background opacity value... 50% is a bit cropped downsides Not a big deal. -battery indication can't be removed from status bar but you can add one another indication battery style from gravity box next the stock one
Huge problem on Lenovo mobile
HI everyone i have a Lenovo A660 / Android 4.0.4 when the battery level reach 15 % , i don't get that " weak battery " notification but i get another notification that says " unfotunately , system ui has stopped " and system bar on the upside of screen disappear and the notification keeps on showing to me even if i close so many times . i tried all this solutions wipe cache / wipe data without any results and when i plug it to the charger all the problems are gone . But i want a final solution so thank you everyone , I really need your help.
Wipe data remove user apps. Problem is in system. Are you flashed any custom ROM?

Very strange behavior. Try to flash stock firmware to phone. Maybe this can help. But do this on your own risk.
