How To Install:

1. Download ROM From 3rd Post.
2. Copy It To SDCard.
3. Now Boot Into Recovery Mode.
4. Now Go To Wipe & Format Options.
5. Do A Factory Reset & Then Wipe /Data, /Cache, /Dalvik Cache & /System.
6. Now Go Back & Tap On Install Zip Option.
7. Choose Install Zip From SDCard 1 (External SDCard)
8. Locate Your Downloaded ROM & Confirm To Flash This ROM.
9. Follow On Screen Directions
10. Reboot Your Device
11. First Boot Will Take 3-5 Minutes So Please Patient!
What To Do After Installation:
1. Open Xposed Installer & Install Framework. Go To Modules & Check All Modules & Reboot

You tested this rom in your canvas a311 so I've question is there any bug in this rom like sensor works properly or also volume key???

i used this rom it has same issues like other roms

This means that v3 has a different UI from v2 ? No AOSP UI anymore?
And when you say that some Gravity box settings don't work,can you give us an example?Can you edit the quick settings tiles?
I am using v2 since the beginning,very good rom.
The only bugs it has (and they are quite annoying) are that on some settings pages the changes you do don't stay after a reboot.
The settings that do that are:
1) usb debugging (turns off by itself on reboot)
2) accessibility/services (most of the times after a reboot the checkboxes of the apps that require a constant service running,switch to ''off''
3) autostart management (your settings do not remain after a reboot)
4) sometimes when you are using 2 sim cards when you turn data on and off from quick settings tiles,the rom can't remember for which card you turned data off and when you re-enable data it enables data on the other sim card than the one that you had previously turned data off.
If you could fix these,along with some lag/game performance issues that are present on v2,this rom would be excellent!
The volume steps are also not set good.The first volume step after complete silence is WAY too loud!

hey Bro,
I am afraid my A310 phone is bricked now. I had the android L ROM by pintothakur installed on my phone using TWRP touch recovery (Red) before. Today when i tried to install this Xtremevanilla ROM on my phone (after clearing cache, delvik cache and system) i selected both zip files vanilla and xposed patch and tried to install but it failed. I dont remember the error . Then i tried once again with only Vanilla zip file this time but it failed again. I think then I made a mistake of restarting the phone (without installing another ROM ) It asked me that my phone didn't seem rooted and if i wanted to install SuperSU . I selected installation of Superuser. And after that the phone restarted but could not get past the micromax logo. I tried pressing Vol down button and power button together to go into recovery mode or pressing Vol+ and power for a fast boot, but notihng worked. and now my phone doesn't go beyond that logo.
So, is there any way I can get my phone back . Any help from anybody would be really appreciated. And I'm sorry if I'm asking this in a wrong forum. Thanks in advance guys.
P.S. is there any chance it happened because of some clash in SuperSu Pro already installed on phone and the one it asked me to install after ROM install failure? And I would also like to tell that when i connect it to my laptop it shows one battery charging logo with battery almost nil though LED doesnt show any color for charging battery. I dont know how it could drop to zero as i tried rom installation when battery was more than 60%.

install original rom in .cpb format via ygdp.Next time do the installation correctly..!

i always recommend CWM or PhilZ for flashing ROMs on A310! You can flash fresh stock rom using YGDP tool! You need to download your stock ROM first! Head over to needrom.com for stock rom & flashing guide!

Let me notice that..
-There's no brightness set to auto tile visible on notification pull down menu.
-Can't save Facebook photos, screenshots etc on sd card. Xposed module has no effect. I tried with picture2sd but still nothing.
-some smalli texts get cropped downsides. For example, check gravity box-lockscreen tweaks
Look at the background opacity value... 50% is a bit cropped downsides
Not a big deal.
-battery indication can't be removed from status bar but you can add one another indication battery style from gravity box next the stock one

Font size issue.!!
I have changed my font size to tiny.. But still the texts appear big in the screen..
In settings & app drawer screen it look good. But in contacts, home screen, dialer, Icon size..etc everything look big and not able to reduce the size.
KitKat clock is not working fix it soon and can you develop the cm11 for s duos...waiting for your next cosmic ROM update!!!!

For clock issue go to settings-> apps manager-> find the clock and clean cashe and data!
I think cosmic rom is till now the best rom I ve used as it gives me around 361 mb fee space which is sufficient to play asphalt 8 and MC4.
I can even play both these games simultaneously without any lag.......

I have been trying and testing almost all available custom roms for samsung galaxy s duos. Considering performance , i dind find even a little glitch. This is totally a awesome piece of work.

Hello gentlemans , yesterday i`ve rooted my GT-S7562 (Galaxy S duos) , step-by-step as described here on Xda , installed Cosmic V2 (without sim in the phone) then Updated to Cosmic V2.5 (works perfect 5/5 star rating)(again without sim in the phone) but i have a really big issue .. my phone doesn`t find my network as before (sometimes finds it - 4 bars , sometimes even with sim out of the phone bars are there, it happen to get 3 messages this morning ) .. i`ve read the "thing" with the home + power button (phone shut down) , removed the battery and hold power + home for 2 mins (now i don`t see any bars .. if i type a number it says "Mobile Network Not Available" , if i go to Settings > Mobile networks > Network operator it says "Error while searching for networks" .. On About Device > Status : Network : Ro Orange / Signal Strength -113 dBm 0asu / Mobile network type : Unknown:0 / Service State : out of service ..

Try to flash via Odin the latest baseband for Romania or a European baseband(I am from Greece but I use France baseband I think have better modem) and step by step to install the Rom is: boot your phone at custom recovery mode, choose wipe data/factory reset then wipe cache, go to advance and wipe dalvik cache and battery stats, go back and choose zip from sd card install cosmic v2 and after install complete install v2.5, once you install finish reboot your phone. If you get bootloop(you see the Samsung logo and wait up to 6-10 mins and the phones light buttons dont light yet) then pull out the battery bring it back and boot the phone at recovery mode and clean data/factory reset again and wipe cache and dalvik and reboot.

thank you for reply sir .. but i didn`t quit untill i fix the issue on my own .. noo need for re-flash entire ROM on the phone , just a ".bin" file .. i read alot and i`ve found a simple way to change the baseband as described here :

I heard about this rom people having no problem . But i m stuck on the activation sim card thing. i m using airtel simcard and on baseband :s7562dxlh4. i kinda tried almost every rom and getting the same prob but atleast this rom reached till activation but stuck. pls help me.

I tryied all but every time the same.... I flash stock Rom.., flash "breakfast Kernel".., flash "Cosmic Baseband".., flash all together...., try to "mount" system/data/SDcard.., NOTHING..!!! I have tried it 14 times..!!! Every time after install the Rom.., or it reboots all the time.., or stucks in Samsung logo.... I don't know what else to do..... Maybe i do stng wrong....
If someome knows from begining (what Rom.., Kernel.., Baseband.., etc) what to do to put this Rom and tell me.., i would be very happy..!! I live in Greece.

Finaly i instal the Rom with @GiannisSma help..!!!
The Trick was to put both (v2 & v2.5) Roms to SD and not to reboot when instal Cosmic_v2 and instal immediately from CWM the Cosmic_v2.5 and then reboot....!!!

I have P716 and I will flash then as soon as I download it.
'll test and post the feedback. If you need some test of roms for dual sim devices you can ask me.
Anyway thank's for your efforts for our device.
In P716 boot is run( although the boot in this is slightly slower than the other ROMs, but ok), so start the device,
sim card's are detecded, but when i try enable then, an error occurs and activation failed, and return to mesage "new sim card detected....", then I was not able to activate neither one sim card.
So, return to the welcome page and after choose the language, a bar run, and aking "just a sec...", after few minutes, setup wizard crashes "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stoped". Device does not start.
I was trying reboot for sometimes, but every time the same occurs.
I read and follow all instructions and flash this rom two times.
As the device does not start, I was unable to get Catlog. Sorry.

Now I tried to flash without GAPPS and it worked.
But, Setup Wizard not loaded. it probably crash. Before the first boot go directly to the Home screen. All configuration, wifi, data, time, language, ... was done manually.
Too, simcard's faliled to activated. included by terminal. I will provide the logcat soon. I'm sleepy now. hehe
After, I reboot to recovery and flash GAPPS now it worked. When rebooted playstore app not works in first time, after new rebooted, playstore app works but was slowly for now all ok.
The rest all ok for now. too videoplayback is ok.
What is CAF? How is it different from normal and your previous cm11 build.

Its strange for me TWRP 3x recovery writes during installation about "unable to mount system on block 14 and data on block 20 device is busy".Nothing wrong,just strange.
First bug just on first start,setup wizard "unfortunatelly stopped" after lang selection,with or without SIM and all.Maybe reason is i am flashing not provided gApps pack but just micro[dont need lots of junk in /system]. Logcat named xD is in attached RAR.May be You will see what went wrong,sir.
Flashed without gApps,first start is working well=) .BTW if i install that micro gApps after first start,evth is fine.
Then,about camera.While focusing camera app crushes,the same was on Weritos CM with his videorecording fix.Logcat named camera attached[not filtered by error type and thats why too large,sorry].
Gonna test and look now,what else can I see.
Okay,turned developer settings ON,setted all animations to 0.5x,seems all works well on my 713.
And a question,will ART work better than Dalvik?

Okay,played a bit with ROM.
First,smth is with lockscreen when music is played.Pictures sometime stuck,and even with player off it sometimes freezes a bit while unlocking.
Second,few times stuck on main screen with music played,one time phone even rebooted itself,other times i pulled battery.
Then,as in another CM builds,maximum volume is ABNORMAL high.
Also,sometimes battery indicates strange.I was goin home with 9%,then raised to 14% and now 20%.
Will try to catch error about freezes in music/locker soon,probably tomorrow will send an logcat.
ART works good=)
And my opinion:This will be the best ROM for vee7.Holds battery great,and works great[i changed launcher to Nova for myself to have biggest grid in menu]
And can i ask to add Smartass Governor to kernel?

No way.
Now when to open dialer app this is crashes. The same occurs when trying to configure and activate simcard in configurations he crashes.
Also now show only one sim card symbol on the top bar of the screen, before this command appeared two.
I confirm all @DS_katauri has written. I noted the same things. + sometimes after pressing the power button to block screen and press it again to unblock screem takes several seconds with black screen until to show the screen.
GPS(included navigation mode), camera, wifi, sensors, usb, sound,video, browsers are fine, batterylife is unbelievable, very good.
Not a ROM bug,i forget to use some autostarts manager and disable sync=)
Seems ROM is stable,no reboots for night.Just damn gApps.

Tried installing this, there is something wrong when setting up. Firstly on set up google does not recognise my old pin anymore after flashing. Tried a pincode less back up and that worked. Afterwards when further installing, it keeps asking for a fingerprint but you need to set it uo with a password. Password will get set up the first time and never get recognised again. After trying to set up and tried rebooting the phone screen keeps flickering on the unlock screen.

First time it happened i restarted after titanium backup and the second time i restarted after putting my email in the setup wizard.... please fix

flash oreo bootloader and flash the rom again i have this every time i use pie bootloader just flash oreo bootloader it is because the bootloader for pie is not good and it contains problems.

After setting up a password the phone wont recognise the password anymore. So if you reboot you cant use your phone anymore.... Also the screen starts flickering after the reboot. So you cant even enter anything...
Ok this is the 3rd time and I'm done trying for now... Sorry bro I really wished everything worked perfectly but after finishing up the setup wizard, I restarted my phone and I can't go past the lockscreen.... the screen is on loop (comes up for 1 sec and turns off for 10) and that's without restoring any apps.

Used the ROM for quite a while and it's good. The only problem is that I cannot use anything to lock my phone. Fingerprint, face, iris or even the basic ones like pattern, password or pin. Everything just fail. Even you set-up pattern, it doesn't work

works fine for me i will investigate the bug
boys dont use fingerprint sensor or security settings press not now and continue setup press back arrow if you get the fingerprint sensor screen if you want security put pin on your sim card which will lock instantly every time you reboot :good:

One thing I did notice is I had no data upon booting up. Installation was smooth and booted fine and from what I can tell everything is working great!
My carrier is Metro by TMobile and when I looked I didn't seem to have any apns in my directory anywhere. Remembered on Havoc 10 the apn.conf.xml are in product/etc and also system/product/etc so I threw the apn I saved from Havoc 10 in the system/product/etc , set permissions to 0644 and reset apn to default and data is on and working perfectly. Attaching my apn.conf.xml from Havoc if anyone else wants to use it..

which version of twrp and magisk are you using? i tried booting twrp and it just freezes up?

One thing I did notice is I had no data upon booting up. Installation was smooth and booted fine and from what I can tell everything is working great!

I use orange fox recovery, Elections build over on our roms section, and I never install it. Just boot it when needed. That way I don't have to deal with the freezes.. And I use latest Canary Magisk.
If you keep manually booting to bootloader and back to recovery eventually your touch screen will work.. If you have recovery installed then hold power button + volume down when it freezes then once you get back to bootloader then go back to recovery and just keep going back and forth till it stops freezing up. It will eventually..

Thanks for the info. So we don't need twrp installed to run a custom rom? I just reverted back to stock cause I couldn't get into the phone to add your apn file you uploaded .so from stock I just run the fox recovery then flash the canary then rom? There's so many threads saying how to root.im getting confused and end up starting over many times in the last few days. Appreciate the help.
Installed this last night. Working great and loving the Pixel Experience on my Moto Power G 7.

No you never have to install a custom recovery. You can boot recovery when you need to use it if you choose to using: fastboot boot foxrec.img Then you won't get any freezes with your screen not being responsive like we all do if you have recovery installed. Sounds like your treading dangerous ground. Be careful or you can brick your device. What's your model # Ex: Mine is a 1955-5 metro by tmo. Thinking yours is same seeing how you went after the apn I posted.. If you have a 1955-5 Qualcomm Ocean metro by TMobile variant see the guide section, the thread titled: How to root for noobs. Can't miss it. That's the thread to follow if you have a Metro by TMobile variant G7 power. Lots of info there. I always just read the entire thread start to finish. Never just start flashing things when you're not ? sure what you're doing. You don't want to end up with a broken phone ..

Thanks for the info help,gonna try again today. I did root by that method. I'm gonna try the orange fox recovery but couldn't seem to find the canary magisk.
mi device just died after flashing this rom, it wont even boot to recovery, wont power on

So far i have tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/how-to/rooted-moto-g5-run-morning-post-image-t3776012 seems like you can boot having cloned the main memory of another moto device into a SD card, but the disk image in that forum is from a G5 not a Moto G7 Power device, so it didn't work
The failure is pretty weird, I leave it all night long plugged in to charge (just in case it might be discharged), and tried to turn it on, but it doesn't do anything, won't turn on, the screen doesn't light up, it won't vibrate, won't boot into bootloader, it's just weird
love the rom but is there anyway to increase the in call volume is kinda low for me.

Google Play system update doesn't install. Shows update available, downloads, press restart to install.
Reboots, shows installing update, then reboots again, starts up and in security setting it shows the same update is still available.

Fish around in the Motorola threads about booting from a sdcard. There is a 1955-5 somewhere in there. I believe sd_shadow uploaded his. I can't recall which thread but I'll look again and try and locate it and if so I'll shoot you link via pm so we don't kill the thread talking about it.. I'll go hunt for the post now. May take me 15-20 mins but if you are looking for 1955-5 I know it's there somewhere here in one of those threads buried. I'll find it. Check your PM's in about 30 minutes. Anyone who needs the 1955-5 mmcblkxx to try and boot from sdcard send me a pm and once I locate the post with it I'll forward it to you.

On second thought it may be for the 1955-4 dual sim I'm not ? but all that info is there in that thread as well.. Thanks for the help, unfortunately I've already tried that with no results, probably the issue is that I need that sd image but from a xt1955-7 with February's last security update for my device to boot up, I'll wait till somebody publish it with a matching image
