Thanks for you reply. Yes I am on Jb, but even a JB like the MIUI doesnt work. I can flash only a stock rom. What is the latest recovery tool?
I got the Philz Touch 6 v6.0.4.7. Is this right, or do I need another one? When I flash a custom rom I get always a message like access denied E:\data, and so on.
thanks

Whats ur hboot version?

zara_ul pvt shjip s-on rl
hboot-2-20-0000
Radiop-1.21.40e.27
oepndspöv16.2.0268-nobears.0902

Ok, no I made the OTA to 4.4.2. I flash the stock recovery and everthing works now. i flash the openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-zaracl.img, and when I try to make a backup, it says E: unable to mount for a couple of times, that was also the problem bevore. Each rom which i try to flash start good, and ends in these errors.
I have the Zara UL version, I cant find a new version of the twrp.
what else can I try?
thanks
Edit
it is unlocked, but above is writte tempered. By the way E: means the internal storage?

sorry my mistake. First I was on jb with hboot 220, then I tried to flash any jj rom without success.
I flashed again the stock recovery, bootet on jb and made the update on kk over OTA. I still have hboot 220, and kk starts fine. but for example if I would like to make a backup (openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-zaracl.img) I just get a lot of errors like E: unable to mount /data and so on.
This error was from the beginning on, and I could never flash any custom rom neither jb or kk roms. It seems that I can run kk with an hboot 220?, which supposed to be 222?
I am a bit confused...), but thanks for your help..

2.20 is jb i suggest that u wipe cache and dalvik-cache then flash a stock rom and kernel for jb where i provided the link then reboot. if it goes well, then u can make a backup via twrp

I did it, and now finally I have the hboot 2.22, but now i cant flash any kk rom again, and even the way back as shows your link above doesnt work anymore.
Just to know what I am trying to do. With the syntax fastboot flash boot boot_initd.img and the file of the jb, I would have again hboot 220, and with the file of kk, hboot222? I can try to flash what I want, the hboot remains 222.
C:\desire601\Android SDK tools>fastboot flash boot boot_initd.img
sending 'boot' (6170 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.957s]
writing 'boot'...
OKAY [ 1.835s]
finished. total time: 2.794s
the only thing which is working now, its to get on the bootloader
thanks

u r on kk now. u r using twrp 2.7.0.0 which means its for jb and thats a problem. u need to flash twrp for kk http://forum.xda-developers.com/des...recovery-twrp-2-8-0-0-touch-recovery-t2874948 then flash boot_stock.img for kk https://drive.google.com/folderview...&usp=sharing&tid=0B6WBFlAKqe30ZG1wOGk2T0xwTkE then flash STOCK_ODEX_ROOT_HTC_ZARA_UL_601_2.14.1401.86_v.1.0.1.zip for kk https://drive.google.com/folderview...&usp=sharing&tid=0B6WBFlAKqe30ZG1wOGk2T0xwTkE then reboot

Great!!! it works..) dont know what should I say now. I really have tried a lot of files, which I have downloaded always at this site. It seems to me that the recovery tool messed everything, and only coz there are UL and VL version, because earlier I had installed a new version like in your post. openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-zaracl.img.
Do you think I can now try to flash the unofficial CN version? found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/des...nt/rom-cyanogenmod-11-htc-desire-601-t2807340

[Q] [HELP] Official LG Updater over ClockWorkMod Recovery

I have an LG Optimus One running 2.2.2 latest firmware V10e. Recently, I rooted my device and installed ClockWorkMod Recovery and the Lagfix+OC Kernel by der_caverman. I am using the Stock ROM with that Kernel.
My question is when the official Gingerbread Update comes out by LG, will I be able to update it with the official LG software updater or will it not work because I have ClockWorkMod Recovery installed.
If not, how can I remove ClockWorkMod Recovery get my original Recovery Back???
any help would be appreciated!
I already asked the same question

nope. you can upgrade at any time if u are staying with ur oem rom even if u are rooted. only thing is that u will lose ur root previllage after the update.
its alwayes advisable to have a custom recovery and custom rom. cause it can take nandroid backups(will save your day if anything goes wrong)

it is risky since you have changed the frame work.if i were you i will do the following.
1)unroot the phone( if u have used gingerbreak use the same to unroot)
2)down load the original recovery from http://www.megaupload.com/?f=XGKNWZQJ and flash. thus u can getrid of amonra and get back original p500 recovery
3)reboot and hard reset and upgrade.
4) since u are now on original recovery and in unrooted condition if any thing goes wrong u can claim warrenty.
let me ask u why u need an upgrade? to get lot of crapwares? or to get amere 600mhz kernal? or to get a laggy phone with mere 60 mb of internal storage space to install all ur apps? or to have adds on every apps?
go for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946354
its stable,beautiful,oced and updated gingerbread.
Thanks for your answer!
And I understand you when you ask me why do I need official update, because I agree that official rom = creap And thats why the first thing that I have done when I rooted my phone was to uninstall all the bloatware from it
I will for sure flash miks rom when he base it on official gingerbread, and if I have a little time for weekend current mod that you recommended (I only hesitate because of the bugs - I know there are just a couple of them, but...). I tried yesterday francos kernel v151, but I'm experiencing color bending in lower half of a screen with it...

ya its up to you to decide...and i agree with u absolutly.but i aint had any problems with mik's 6.5.2(not using francos ker cause some error with cpu freq settings, u have to use setcpu).

yes its a flashable unsigned zip.but if u r using amonra to flash( cause it is unsigned) u have to uncheck the option "toggle signature verify" first.Amonra wont allow u to flash unsigned zips unless u do the above.
ps:if original recovery is flashed u will lose all the options in amonra and the only option will be the hard reset option.
there is a good how to section if u wish...

Which recovery you have installed? Install 4ext rc3 and flash the Rom, you might not be able to do it cause you must be flashing an ics Rom which requires a different kernel, either use fastboot to flash the boot.img or use 4ext touch recovery...
Thanks for the help bro.
I just want to make this straight.
What should i do and which recovery should i install to install ics rom?
Just letting u know that mine is s-on
EDIT:I tried the 4ext recovery rc3. But still failed. I cant install ics rom with it.

hmmmm I you need to read root/stock/lock-unlock.You can't install updates from custom ROM.I think u need to back on stock firmware then to ReLock your phone and unroot it.

Just flash stock recovery, no need to relock bootloader, it's obligatory for RUU flashing.

All the steps u mentioned are fine.
For rooting the first step is to unlock bootloader from windroid , ( incase u forgot which I told in the previous post) And then flash recovery & then supersu (root access)
But ,U need to flash custom ROM from the recovery. And yes the backup made from recovery is sufficient.
Can u tell me your hboot by entering into bootloader ( power + vol down button).

I restored after upgrading via TWRP Flashable ZIP (not via AdB fastboot) and restored my kk backup successfully.
In my thought the bootloader upgrade and downgrade only happnes when u flash ROM via Fastboot, so u can downgrade by flashing Stock LP flashable zip, but flash at ur own risk
Did u flashed the soak test ota zip, and then were u able to restore the nandroid backup [kitkat] successfully without any problem? Thats all I want to know..

Tried to find but there isn't any. The only way to upgrade I see is first flash the stock 4.4.4 firmware and then flash the soak test ota. In this way there could be some possibility of hard brick while downgrading or by any other method. Thats why I don't wanna upgrade in this way, I better stay with Kitkat and wait till someone come up with a flashable stock pure lollipop rom

Thats why I don't wanna upgrade in this way, I better stay with Kitkat and wait till someone come up with a flashable stock pure lollipop rom
