Just bought a Goclever Chronos Eco...nice watch, declared lasting 3 weeks, and I trust that as far as I can see (1 week = more than 78% left).
The problem is that the software to be used to pair the smartwatch to the HM7 doesn' t work. I still receive the chinese message "CAN' T CONNECT TO SERVER" wich is supposed to do the software in order to start the application and connect the Chronos.
Same application on my S4 works 100% fine. For sure it' s a matter of compatibility between software and HM7...and a lot of other smartphone, since on the net there are several users claiming the same problem.
Therefore, please, be aware for those who wanna bought this smartwatch.
Just got my LG G watch R. Works fine with AM7 . Now if we can get the lollipop update. It would be good.

Advent Vega is UK model. Rest of the Europe call it Mobii Point of View Tegra 10". They are the same inside, only logo on the back is different.
Pov is heavier (730g) a bit,and no bluetooth, so not just label is different

So buying a dockingstation for a PoV Mobii 10 would work just as well as trying to get one from the U.K.

Good to know, guess i have to trawl all stores nearby to check if we have any on shelves .. there is none on the websites and the currys store i was in the other day did a check for the dock in stock then checked pcworld stock levels and told me there was none... Given your result its worth a look i think... Failing that i may take a chance on one for the Pov Mobii 10 dock shipped from europe and see if that works..

Yes, I'm running the Viewpad 10s with the Mobii Tegra docking station.
The docking stations don't have a maufacturer label like Advent / POV / Viewsonic, they are all identical

Could someone with a dock please tell me whether it allows 1080p video playback through its hdmi socket, because as far as I am aware the vega's hdmi only outputs at the same resolution as the screen (1024*600 I think) which would mean video playback on a tv would be limited to this. The reason I am asking is because on the currys website it says in the technical specification of the dock, "connect to your tv with 1080p video playback", however I suspect that this is a inaccuracy, and that the hdmi socket on the dock is indentical in its output to that of the vega's own hdmi socket.

I have a evo 3d coming soon and I'm curious to know how the hdmi out works. I'm interested in playing n64 games (I'm assuming they'll run decently) on my tv with my wii classic controller. On the evo 4g it was unplayable even playing snes games from hdmi out. Is it smoother now and would 3d games be playable?

The old Chainpus bluetooth gamepad works great using bluez IME from the market. I've heard the Zeepad (?), Phonejoy, and Icontrolpad bluetooth controllers also work well.
I've only had the old Chainpus gamepad and it's a lot of fun for emulator TV out.

I use the classic controller plugged into the wiimote. Connected via bluetooth, works really well for emulators.

I really don't like sense, what aosp rom + kernel works? Right now I can't get output on the nocturnal adrenaline rom, which is weird since it's sense based.

works with sense roms...the problems I've had are that most games that are controllable with the gamepad seem to be mapped for portrait layout...meaning for example trying to use it with gtaIII ,the 3 o'clock direction is forward or straight...pressing actual up stick guides you left. I'm still on the fence whether I'll return it or open it up and see about switching the orientation of the thumb sticks. And also alot of games either won't use the gamepad input, or its just not configurable at all...you may be able to move around but the buttons don't respond. Like I said I have not tried an emulator yet and maybe you can do mapping which would make this controller sweet. Hopefully they release an app to run in sync with the controller or games get updated to allow for more configuration

If you have a Frys store nearby, they have a micro usb MHL adapter (Accell) it works great and costs about $24

Stock ROM rooted or not as long as the kernel supports it then yes...
I won a PhoneJoy and the controller is awesome.. works perfect with stock kernel phone with BlueIMZ.
In my experience.
1. Video is grainy, though my TV reports it as 1920x1080p, and it does not fill the whole screen. Their is half an inch of space left on all sides of TV.
2. I bought this to play audio. The quality is great. Sound is crisp clear but I have to keep screen awake and it drains battery out. It would be great to turn screen off.
PS:- I am using CleanROM Reborn 1 with stock kernel.

Although cost effective and useful, I strongly recommend the permanent method.
Not only will it give you the experience you're looking for, you look cool as hell walking around town with a controller sticking out of your trousers.
But the main factor is the cord. Your going to need some jumper cables so that you can power your controller. Don't worry though there only $599.99.

Then download the app Usb Bt Joystick Gold Demo to see if it works,it will work for 10 minutes,if it works get the paid one.

Once your rooted any of arter97 kernels will make any most any popular otg controller work with no modules or anything! It's great! So excited I've been trying to figure this out for a week now. This was tried on my friend's Mi Note 10 and it shows both of gamepads.
Is there any hardware difference? Or is it just the app that had phone model filter?
Is there something i can do for it? I just can't get rid of this phone because this snapdragon 845 way too good for me, I've checked newer phone within the range price it has lower cpu.
Maybe someone who really understands about mobile app can change it for me (and for other user of course) so our Poco F1 can connect both of the gampepads

As far I now, only some phone support that right side gamepad blackshark V2.
phone like Poco f1 & Redmi note 8 only support left gamepad if I not wrong remember.
other phone I know support that right side gamepad other than blackshark series is Poco x3 pro, Poco f2 pro, Mi 10, Mi 10T & Mi 10T pro.
Still trying to find other phone that support left or both side gamepad but it's to hard because this gamepad a bit old and some people say MIUI 13 make phone lost all support to use both gamepad, and shark arsenal APK+dongle activator only support android 10 ( game controller APK still better than shark arsenal, for some reason shark arsenal have a bit delay and sometime must be activated again).
But from my experience that right side gamepad not really feels good for playing game, but the left side gamepad is still the best gamepad I ever try, hard to find other gamepad that have low latency, feels good on hand, have good button placement & light enough.

Nope, you cant even download this app anymore on xiaomi appstore.

1. Roll back your phone update.
2. Use panda gamepad pro app ( i think this is only your safe option if you want to use this gamepad on android 12 but for now this app not support android 13).
Other choise is to wait mantis gamepad pro app update support for one side controller.

other phone I know support that right side gamepad other than blackshark series is Poco x3 pro, Poco f2 pro, Mi 10, Mi 10T & Mi 10T pro.
Still trying to find other phone that support left or both side gamepad but it's to hard because this gamepad a bit old and some people say MIUI 13 make phone lost all support to use both gamepad, and shark arsenal APK+dongle activator only support android 10 ( game controller APK still better than shark arsenal, for some reason shark arsenal have a bit delay and sometime must be activated again).
But from my experience that right side gamepad not really feels good for playing game, but the left side gamepad is still the best gamepad I ever try, hard to find other gamepad that have low latency, feels good on hand, have good button placement & light enough.

Actually I've tried the right gamepad, and yeah it wasn't really good on the touch pad, but i just need the additional r1 and r2 button, and of course it would look so nice having both side gamepad, looks like a psp
But sorry still didn't answer my silly question, is it because hardware (bluetooth) problem? Or maybe it can be mod by using custom rom?

Not really sure , but i think this app can read your rom, maybe this app use white list system if rom not found you cant use this app or some function not work.
still have poco f1 but after change my rom to pixel experience this app stop working.
Just thinking maybe this related to base miui rom that modified to joyui on blackshark. Poco f1 and bs 1 build on same year and both phone only support left gamepad, atleast before bs 1 got update.
And i forgot Xiaomi pad 5 pro is other device support both gamepad too.
