The second release of MicroKat is finally here!
Based on balliboxer's GenNxt S3 Neo Port (4.4.4) or stock NH6 (4.4.2), MicroKat promises a rich
experience, with fluid performance and silky smooth everyday usage.
At 3-5 base apps running in the background and an average of 530 MB (490 MB for NH6) idle RAM usage (490 MB for NH6 4.4.2), this ROM is sure to quench your desire for performance!
This time, you have two editions.
MicroKat 4.4.4 - based on GenNxt S3 Neo Port by balliboxer
MicroKat 4.4.2 - based on stock NH6
MicroKat Note 4 - a little Note 4 bling without affecting performance.

To make up for the missing functionality, I packed the necessities. Use Play Store for everything else.
For example, you can use Google Camera as a Camera alternative, and SpiritFM
instead of FM Radio.

Suggestion
It's quite awesome bro but having to download every function that we usually use is quite a hassle (I prefer using most default apps since they use less RAM- most of the time). I agree on removing the rest but these are the ones that should be kept for convenience:
1. Camera & Gallery (combo)
2. Voice recorder (we need it for things like recording a lecture or someone farting, etc)
3. My Files (alot of us uses it)
4. Music Player (my coffee every morning)
5. Video Player (porn)
6. Google Play, Google Play Services (for CoC and stuff)
7. Clock (widget is good to be removed)
Anyways we can always use Titanium Backup to remove/freeze the stuff above. But having to install apps to replace the default ones isn't that much different from saving space from deleting the default apps. It's really a great ROM and I admire your works so I hope you consider this suggestion. And also, I hope you've totally removed the things that you removed like totally removed (from settings, and stuff).

I agree and disagree.
Stock apps, but not all of them, use way more RAM than alternatives.
For example, Samsung's Gallery uses more RAM than AOSP Gallery.
Music and Video Players have the same issue.
I'll be providing a package with some AOSP alternatives of the aforementioned apps, as some may agree with you that it may be a hassle to pick and download replacements.
For Google Services, flash the ParanoidAndroid Nano or Pico Gapps package. At 35 MB, this would restore Google Play Store and Play Services for games and IAP.
For the Clock, okay, some need it. I also agree.

I will, but for maintaining the integrity of the download, I would have to include them in a separate package.

wifi wont turn on any idea
I am currently on cm11
I restored my ins nh6 rom backup n then flashed the microkat rom but wifi didn't turn on
Then i formated the system (i am using phliz recovery )and then tried to flash the rom the wifi didnt work again
So help plzz i need wi-fi
Oh i tried flashing the deads kernel n the grand 2 didn't even boot.
