Any one else getting horrible battery life (comparatively to KitKat)?
Also, sometimes after reboot cellular won't work. Sometimes it randomly does. When it doesn't, the baseband under "About tablet " says unknown.
Performance, especially in terms of UI is great through, smoother than KitKat IMO.
Edit: My points stand for all the nighties I have tried (Jan 11-14)

Baseband Version Unknown
Hello all, i flashed the CM o114 nightly and so far it's all good, except for the baseband, it says:
Baseband Version Unknown
on my Nexus 7 2013 4G
Is anybody else facing this issue?
I looked everywere and found no info before posting here.

Yea I have that too. I thought I messed something up yesterday during the flash but I restored an earlier backup and I had the baseband back. It is ROM related I think.

Oddly i flashed the updated PA Gapps, wipe Dalvik and cache, rebooted and there was the baseband (?)

Had the same problem. Wiped the cache and Dalvik and it works thanks jffonseca10

For some reason nothing is bringing the baseband back. Everything else works.

Forgot to mention that i flashed radio from stock 4.4.4.
Reboot into recovery, wiped dalvik and cache.
Reboot, and baseband was there!

Dirty flashed the 14-Jan nightly on the 10-Jan build: radio is OK after a reboot.
On the 10-Jan nightly it took about 3 reboots in the two hours after installation to establish mobile radio connection.

My bootloader shows baseband as DEB_z00_2.42.0_1204 but I still don't get any data connection despite several reboots.
Every once and a while I will notice it working but then shortly after it is gone again.
I've tried to capture logs but I can't seem to find anything worth capturing. I'm happy to pull more if OP needs.

I´m missing one feature: to create my own buttons.
I was using the Nova Launcher with the Tablet GUI and placed a menu button in the lower right corner.
But now i don´t find this option.
Will it come or is it gone with Lollipop?

This is great! I was so tired of waiting for Google to release Lollipop for the mobile N7. The wait has ended!
Like other reported, my cellular didn't work because the baseband was missing. I tried flashing the radio from Google's KitKat firmware, and it worked a treat.
Otherwise, I played with it a bit last night after flashing, and everything so far seems to work as expected. Super stoked!

What exactly are you guys doing to get cellular connectivity? I have tried flashing the radio from 4.4.4, and I get nothing. It still says baseband version unknown.

I updated the bootloader to the L version from the wifi only model. This didn't resolve the problem.

I don't know why it works but I updated the bootloader back to the last deb version and after a second reboot the baseband appeared and now my device goes back to deep sleep again.

Had the same problem. I flashed at first full wipe 0115 with no baseband succes. Then I flashed 0111 over it and then again 0115. Radio works great so far.

Where are you guys getting the deb kk boot loader?

Everything is working here, including LTE connection, without the newest bootloader (from flo).
Only once I had problem with the baseband, and a reboot was all the I needed to fix it.
Ps: I update from the CM11 to the unofficial nightlies.

its the first nightly, i strongly double everything is working. there is also going to be some CM features missing.
Downloading now and will flash later. Can't wait!
So far it looks like these are non working. Keep in mind this is for informative purposes and not complaining.
Location toggle doesn't toggle
HDR doesn't work.
Some CM features aren't in there yet. Nothing major. The main features are there.
Battery drains heavy at first then chills out.
Running OK so far except for my wifi. Also mine asks me which home app to use... I'm not sure which.
Is the proper one the house or the blue bubble?

I'm using CWM touch. Latest version. I did a clean flash. Used TiBa to restore some apps like Asphault 8 so I didn't loose my purchases. Did clean install on others.

Yes you can save your backup to sdcard now with cwm. I was personally using newest touch 6.0.4.4 now using Philz Advanced Touch which is based off of 6.0.4.5. I haven't had any issues with hanging on the samsung screen since switching from twrp where I was getting that pretty consistently upon reboots.
If I haven't done so already should I flash the newest modem files found HERE? Or does CM11 already have the updated modem files built in?

I believe the blue icon is google's new kitkat launcher. I believe launcher 3 is cyanogenmod launcher. Not sure though for sure as I use Nova.
Working alright right now. I had an issue with wifi being wonky and when I plugged in my USB cable my phone crashed, but those things haven't happened again.

CM doesn't flash modem files. I always use the latest modems myself.

[ROM][CM11][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 - LS990

Hi all. I have managed to piece together a build of CM11 that has working radio, bluetooth, sd card, gps, etc.
Here it is. FYI, I am not really a developer, This is my first attempt to build a project. In order to get it working I had to use the proprietary blobs from CM12 - the muppets - and make a couple of changes to the cm11 source code. The rest is straight from the cm11 repo's. I will post what I did at a later time so hopefully we can get these changes into cm11 so it builds properly.

Yup. It's finally here. CM11 with basically everything* working.
*Working:
Pretty much everything:
WiFi
2G/3G/LTE
Camera (back and front-facing and LED flash,) camcorder works in 1080p, no 4k yet
Sound (little bit quiet)
Screen (duh)
Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope
GPS (can drain battery really fast)
Bluetooth
SDCard read/write
*Not working:
Wireless Charging (it works but it's very, very slow)
NFC - (Might be a battery killer in current state, uninstall or freeze it in TiBu) <--Working on a fix
Installation Instructions:
*NOTE*: You must be Bump'd for this to work. This requires flashing via custom recovery
1. Download this and GApps (recommended PA GApps. For android 4.44. You can find on xda
2. Put both on Internal Storage or external storage
3. Reboot into recovery
4. BACKUP CURRENT ROM
5. Factory Reset/Wipe
6. Flash CM11 (I wiped all but interal and external)
7. Flash GApps
8. Reboot
9. ???<
10. Profit

@invisiblek was pretty awesome in getting this going, much more credit goes to him than me, he really had the base for this, and now I just fix crap for the ls990.

Everything is fine but screen is still off when I finish talking. I need to push power button and screen on and then end the call.
No one is experiencing random app closes ? I open apps and they randomly restart or just close with out any notice of force closes. For example instagram will randomly send its self to the top of the feed when scrolling. Any solutions to this issue?
"Everything is fine but screen is still off when I finish talking. I need to push power button and screen on and then end the call."
This is an issue with just about every AOSP rom available at the moment. Probably gonna have to wait until someone manages to find a fix for the proximity sensor (someone submitted a fix and from what I read it still didn't fix it, yet). Once that's done it will likely be a simple addition to this rom. Sit tight. Once the holidays and their associated hangovers pass I am sure some more fixes will come down the pipeline.
seems this rom has the same issues as the cm12 builds... where the default SMS app won't send texts....
but thanks for the build.... pretty solid otherwise so far

When I used this rom I used the textra sms program and was able to get all texts working, mutlimedia, etc. Unfortunately, my ls990 gets blue screen of death on any of the cm11 or aosp based roms currently, which is a known issue that only affects what seems to be a small numbers of users that have what seems to be slightly different hardware boards.
I will do an updated build once this issue gets sorted out. Everything else seemed to work pretty well on this rom once you have textra installed. Advantage over cm12 is xposed modules work fine. Also I didn't have any network issues that I seemed to get while streaming with some of the aosp roms.

well i've been using this since the 5th of February (so almost 3 weeks now) and while i've tried some other roms.... i kept coming back to this one. like you said textra replaces the standard sms app just fine..... and i've had great battery life as well as no crashes whatsoever on this rom. so, thanks again for this one.

i'm on the cm12 builds now... i'd go back to this if there was an update to fix sms though (current cm12 builds it does work on) but i crash a lot more on cm12 than this build ever did

any chance for an update to this one?
just went back to it from an old backup due to cm12 just being too unstable....
this build would be almost perfect for me if the default texting app worked
battery life seems much better on this cm11 build vs. the newest cm12 alphas
thanks

I am waiting on a new build for cm11 until we get bluetooth issues ironed out. I don't think there have been a whole lot of changes to cm11 since my old build. The changes that we need to make this more stable are the bluetooth proprietary firmware / drivers it seems that the devs have yet to figure out.
Once we get this working fully I will do a new build of cm11.
Is there an update to be had here? Or has everyone moved on to CM12?

I am extremely thankful
Edit: for anybody wondering I dirty flashed from 4-01 cm12 nightly and it booted and is working wonderfully
Thank you mate!
Thanks a lot for this rom! Just one question, is it still necessary to flash cm11 and let it completely boot before flashing this cm12.1 rom? Thanks in advance!

So, how is this rom working so far? Is ambient display working Ok? GPS? Thanks! Oh, one last question, what custom recovery do you think it's better? TWRP? Philz? Thanks in advance!

My camera kept messing up then after a few tries it's working flawlessly. Are you getting "can't reach camera" or something similar?
Sent from my Moto X using XDA Free mobile app
After toggling tortch in drawer its icon dissapear and cant be toggled off, some themes not working properly. Xposed not working, camera not working, chrome is crashing but thats probably apps fault due to 5.1 android version. Other than that rom is faster with better animations and visual things. Going back to 5.0.

I certainly assume so, I believe as long as you haven't upgraded your bootloader you'll be fine

About encryption
As you should've already guessed, CyanogenMod 13 will always (re)encrypt your /data partition on first boot unless you flash another kernel with encryption disabled.
Bug reports
Bug reports while using custom kernels, mods (like Xposed) and whatsoever will be ignored.
When reporting a bug don't forget to mention the version you're using (eg.: cm-13.0-20151218-NIGHTLY-flounder_lte), what steps do you need to do to reproduce the problem, what's happening and what it should be happening instead.
Attaching a logcat won't hurt you.
Just one bug I found...using 12-20 nightly and flashed systemless root, arm64 stock gapps. Selecting the "sounds" menu in settings causes an immediate crash of settings. Happens every time. Happened immediately from a fresh, clean flash, and after a reboot, and after a factory reset and reflash. Also happened with elementalx kernel. Tried getting a logcat but I can't get any logcat app to run properly for some reason (might be another bug but could just be me lol).
Everything else seems to work fine for me. Much better than stock so far in my opinion.

But even that (systemless root), shouldn't justify the issue. logcat would be appreciated.
@lcrponte is using the builtin root access and doesn't have that issue, can you confirm that, if you don't flash chainfire's systemless root, it crashs the same?

You aren't being rude. I read the OP...I should have mentioned I did get the bug without systemless root installed. I actually couldn't get root access on anything until I went back into recovery and flashed supersu. As a matter of fact, no logcat apps could gain root to generate a log for the bug, which is why I flashed it in the first place.
If I were able to get a log I would, but without supersu the log apps couldn't get root, and with supersu the log apps just weren't logging anything...at all, not just errors.
Not a big deal to me anyway just figured I'd try to contribute...when I get to work I'll see if I can grab a log from the computer.

I can't revert back from elementalx at the moment because I don't want my data to encrypt...if you need me to I will make a backup and do so later tonight.

If sound setup is important to your N9, then I would, I did. Other than the FC though, everything else ran fine.
It's not related to any kind of "root" access. It's a CM-wide bug meaning that you could revert to your last backup or wait for it get fixed.
Flashed 12/24 nightly and the sound settings crash is fixed for me.

LTE does not work with CyanogenMod 13 on my device
This is probably a dumb question, but what gapps should I use? The OpenGapps project, which is recommended by Cyanogenmod, does not have 6.0.1 gapps, so I'm kind of lost.
Weird. I tried to use the nano package of that 6.0.X version, but for some reason, I got an error, hence my question.
I'll give it another try, maybe I made some kind of mistake.

User problem, not a ROM problem. Flash latest img and repeat the steps on the installation instructions.

I use the nano, without problems. Make sure you download the 64 bit gapps.
Get rid of corrupted device warning?
Has anyone figured out a way to run this ROM (or any custom ROM) without the nasty "Your device is corrupt ...." (and Santa Claus won't bring you any presents) warning on every boot?
(I feel like this must be an FAQ, but I can't find it in this thread or the CM 12.1 thread, so ...)

Great to see CM14 for one Max already here, thanks Flyhalf205
This will be my first flash on a One Max. I'm coming over from a Note 4 (& a S4 before that) on Sprint. I've only been rooting for a few years, but it still gives me that little bit of a rush cause ya never know it, it could brick, bootloop, etc, lol. I've been beta testing for Emotion AOSP for (I dunno), I'd say what feels like a year (it's been Sooo much fun. I'll miss it). Also helped out on XneonHD while it was in operation. Anyways, y'all bare with me & my inexperience on this phone. I've always enjoyed CyanogenMod builds, they're fast, clutter free (I could go on & on). Anyways, wanted to make my presence known, say hey & thank you for the hard work. I look forward to playing around on a phone other then Samsung (it's always fun tryin out somethin new) & getting to run CM is always a plessure.
Overall working properly, bugs found so far :
- Live Display Not Working
- Bluetooth not working
- Camcorder not working
I will report if I found any other bugs.
Thanks

What build were you on? There are two international builds posted. It sounds like you were on my first build I sent you. The second build should work fine.
Verizon version gets LTE but service bar fills up then its empty and speeds are alot slower than expected.
