[ROOT][HOW TO] Easy root method - S7390 - Samsung Galaxy Fresh/Trend Guides, News, & Discuss

You can easily root your S7390 using a chinesse program called Vroot.
You need to:
-- Download Vroot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6j75s4qdrskg543/VRoot_1.7.2.4200_Setup.zip?dl=0 and install it.
-- Enable USB Debugging on your phone
-- Install phone drivers
-- Open Vroot, connect phone to pc and wait until the program will recognize your device.
-- When will show that is connected press the green ROOT button and wait until is done.
-- Your phone will reboot and have the chinesse SU app on your phone!
If you want to replace chinesse SU app with SuperSU you can install supersu from Google Play(or flash it, via CWM) and after you just uninstall chinesse SU with titanium backup for example.

2. Install jdk
3. install Android sdk, after installing open sdk manager form star and select "android sdk platform-tools" and "google usb driver" unselect the rest, click install packages. After installing put the adb_usb.ini file in "C:\Users\(your PC name)\.android"
4. Now on your phone goto settings>applications>development>enable usb debugging and connect usb cable, it should say usb debugging mode and show a little green android icon on the topleft (if not then reinsert cable or re enable usb debugging)
5. Windows will detect the device, let it stabilize then extract A87 drivers to a location say "C:/drivers"
6. Now goto start type "device manger" open device manager, you wil find "android adb interface" right click upgrade drivers and lead it to a location of your extracted drivers, do the same with other devices you get with an exclamation icon. (dont worry if you dont find other devices, its fine)

I too faced the same problem a while ago :crying:, but at last got its solution...
Do this only if you Have CWM(clockworks mod) installed on your device...
If not then goto - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987020
And find it there...
Firstly, Get a rooted custom/stock ROM and save it in your device's sd card,
Then goto ClockWorks Recovery ( First power off your device, then hold volume up and power key untill superfone logo displays to get into recovery menu), (scroll up and down for three times to enable the power button with vol. up and down key)open 'mounts and storage' menu
Then choose 'format/system' . After the completion Goto main menu and choose 'install zip from sd card' -> choose zip -> And install it.
And after completion, Reeboot. DONE, your got a rooted device...!

How to root XOLO X1000
***Disclaimer - You accept full responsibility if by using these directions your device explodes, leaves you for another owner, or just decides it doesn't like you anymore. I am not responsible!***

I did not create Impactor nor Snappea, I just managed to figure out Impactor works to obtain root on this device and many others
ALL credit for Cydia Impactor tool belongs only to its developer Saurik

Make SURE you have USB DEBUGGING turned on
Next, you will need suitable drivers, there is a way to install drivers elsewhere but a much quicker way is to go to www.Snappea.com and install this program on your PC, it is just a program that allows your phone to better interact with your PC but the bonus is that it can install generic drivers (including that much needed ADB driver) for almost any device! Once snappea is installed simply connect your phone to your PC when Snappea prompts you to.
Finally go here:
http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/
Download Impactor and unzip the file, once unzipped simply open the Impactor folder and double click the Impactor Application. This will pop up a box that says Cydia Impactor at top on your screen. You should see a drop down menu that currently says "# drop SuperSU su into /system/xbin/su". Make sure that command is showing in the drop down box and press the start button on the right side.
Once this completes you will just need to download your favorite Superuser or SuperSU app onto your device then update binary and you are rooted!
Good luck!!

Root Lenovo / Medion Life / Op3n Dott P4502 with Kingo Root

Following the excelent post by member shanti77 here I was able to root my Medion P4502 (MD 98942; Android 4.4.2; Kernel 3.4.67) but with slight variations.
The main difference is that instead of iRoot I used Kingo Root. I know that some people would also prefer to use other options and therefore I decided to write this post.
Here are the steps:
1. Download and install Engineer Mode MTK Shortcut from Google Play
2. Open this app and under Log and Debugging -> User2Root tap on the Root button.
3. Switch on "Debugging Mode" on the phone:
-open Settings, then scroll all the way down to About phone. Once there, tap Software information, then tap Build number seven times. You'll see a notification alerting you that you are now a developer.
- go back to the main Settings page and you'll see a new entry for Developer options. Enable it and tick USB debugging option.
4. Download and install Kingo Root on your Windows box.
5. Start Kingo Root, connect your phone with USB in CD connection mode (not in Media connection mode!), click OK on the pop-up asking you to trust the computer and allow it to install necessary drivers in order to connect.
6. When connected, Kingo Root will recognize the phone as Lenovo P4502 and claim that it already is rooted. Don't be fooled by this and tap the Root Again button.
7. Afterwards update SuperSU apk (actual root access gatekeeper) installed by Kingo Root, set User2Root back to User (see p.2 above) and disable Developer Options in phone Settings (see p.3 above).

I've already tried this a week ago, it works like a charm. I confirm. To download just google "Kingo root apk", first result. ADB is not needed, just install apk.

"Kingo root apk" for me did not work, I had to make root via PC.
Same for me, had to root via PC, but it worked like a charm.
I have a problem with using Kingo su binary. Some applications do not allow root access with Kingo su binary, for example "ES Task Manager". To this solve, replaced the su binary to "SuperSU binary" versions 2.45 and Kingo Root uninstall.
The problem with the "King of root" su binary on the GSmart guru GX phones
For correct function of the Su binary is necessary to replace the original "King of root" su binary at su binary of "SuperSU" from xda-developers.com URL: ... censored by xda-developers.com ....
"King of root" su binary has a problem with some applications where it is not correct root access.

Tried to r00t Acer iconia table (didn't worked) Now I need to remove su binaries. How?

I tried to root Acer B3-A10 tablet with Kingo Root.
Root is unsuccessful, however there are still file su binary files in /system/bin, /system/xbin etc.
Now I cannot enter PokemonGo 0.37 as it detects su binaries.
How can I remove those su files without having root to do it on Android?
Is it possible on Windows, Linux via shell? How?
I cannot find Linux drivers, just USB drivers for Win 7, 8 :/
I also cannot find stock rom that should be ACER_AV0L0_B3_A10_1.007.00_WM_GEN1.
Any help?
Thanks
Do you have custom recovery? You could root that way then install SuperSU and use the full unroot option. This is how I keep playing .37 and can still switch to rooted when I need it.
I dont have custom recovery or any kind of file to flash ...
