I'll give it a shot.
Backing up in a moment. Hopefully I won't have any feedback until after 4 or 5 days after the ROM and kernel settle in, which would mean no bugs noticed

" REctifY 1.0.3a " launched

And sadly enough, I just booted into the old one and had this as a quoted posy notification in my email.
In case it isn't fixed btw, the kernel image in the build I downloaded earlier wasnt good. I tried it first with the install I had and it didn't boot at all. Flashed back the old kernel. Tried just now the full install and same thing. The install is running but literally just booked though I had to flash an Androkernel at fastboot the same as before; same issue, didn't boot at all. No animation or anything, could only turn the phone off and hit fastboot and flash modes.
I've never used viper for Android. Can you briefly explain what I need to download for it and where to put it please.
---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:12 PM ----------
Off the bat, one other thing I'm noticing from the first beta, before I install the update, and it may well not be a problem, is that the data icon doesn't go away on wifi. I can't tell if data is still being used or not; the input and output indicators stop but the letter is still there... 3G, H, G, etc. The traffic arrows move to the wifi icon. I'll try to test it by looking at the usage if I see the same thing in the update but probably have no time today.

When you installed " rEctifY 1.0.3a ", the device does not start?
If it arrives it is a defect of of the kernel. Would be it a defect of Androkernel V19a? Tried it to you? Tested is work
For Viper4Android look at the subject http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223

Your kernel installed first when I extracted it and simply fastboot it. It also installed (presumably) when I installed the whole ROM with TWRP. In both cases it didn't get to a boot animation. I got a black screen on reboot as if the phone was off. When I hit the power button it vibrated once after a very very short wait, nothing as long as what you'd expect of any Shutdown forced or otherwise. Right now I'm using your alpha ROM after flashing an image of AndroKernrel with fastboot.
As for the AndroKernrel version, right now I'm using 14 and earlier I'd flashed 16. I had them on my computer convenient to find. My phone has run every version of that kernel up to the current one with my previous install.
I'm wondering if its possible that its a file permission of the image.... I pulled a stock one from an ftf recently that didn't flash despite the file command in Linux sort of indicating it was at least an image for this arch, however yours did flash but just didn't boot. I don't know what else to give you on it. Hope it helps.

Sorry, to be accurate, I've run version 12 to current of Andro.

It is certainly of in the firmware D5833_23.0.1. Has 5.77_R11B_Unbranded_Brazil.ftf that I used. Which firmware have to I use as base?

... Download finished. I'll let you know more within an hour if I get other stuff done.

OK, I have of the credit note a bad reassembly of the beta. Everything is back to normal again on the 1.0.3a

Yeah it looks good so far. Have all my apps reinstalled and whatnot.
As for the letter on the network signal, I'm thinking that since I had a ROM specific to my carrier that this might be something they added on a data switch. I rather like being able to see the band, now, anyway and confirmed it isn't leaking data; that it appears to indeed turn off when I switch to wifi.
Booted fine.
Had issues with the play store after Titanium reinstalled more than a page full of xposed mods but as suspected, reboot solved the issue.
Looks very solid so far.
Also, only tested camera but looked just as good as my previous one with the restoration flash.

Same here on battery.
Uninstalled now for simple reason that I prefer stock. Wanted it to check out Viper for Android and it was really impressed, but at the end of the day I'm always paranoid of malware on custom ROMs. That said, its well done, fears set aside.
Viper for Android sort of makes
Kernel sound implementation look sad, I found, and thats just the least of the settings it has.

DRM keys are not restore. I check marlin, ckb, widevine is error and miracast is not working

Hi!
Sorry for offtopic.
D5833 Users with unlocked and rooted device. We need us at here for get root in Locked Bootloaders:

Currently the tool can only root D5803. To support other devices I need:
Code:
cat /proc/version
su
echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/kptr_restrict
cat /proc/kallsyms > /data/local/tmp/kallsyms
chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/kallsyms
Upload kallsyms and post output. Obviously you need root to get this information. Additionally you should be on a early firmware (< october).

- AGPS;
- Usb connection to PC (mtp/ptp);
- GPS;
- HDMI;
- Sound;
- Microphone;
- Video playback;
- Camera;
- Wifi tethering.
Not working:
- Bluetooth.
Instructions: !!!Be aware that im not responsible for any damage that can cause this rom!!!
1. Be sure that you have installed 4.0.3 stock official rom from huawei and your bootloader is not locked.
2. Now you need to install TWRP/CWM recovery.
To do it download zip with Automated installer of TWRP/CWM/STOCK Recoveries to PC, unpack it in the place you like on PC, run install_recovery.cmd and follow onscreen instructions.
2. Then download CyanogenMod 10 for Huawei Mediapad, Google apps and place them on your internal or external sd.
3. Boot in TWRP/CWM Recovery, then choose Backup and confirm operation (you will get full backup of stock rom).
4. If you want flash rom on top of previous cm10/pa rom - skip this part and go to 5.
Otherwise If you goes from stock or AOKP rom then Press back to go to main menu and choose Wipe there and choose Factory reset there and confirm operation .
5. Press back again and choose Install, then find downloaded zip rom, choose it and and confirm operation .
6. Press back again and choose Install, then find downloaded zip with Gapps, choose it and confirm operation .
7. Then reboot in system and enjoy CyanogenMod 10.1 rom on your Mediapad
PLS notice: twrp/cwm recoveries are intended to use with custom roms like cm10/pa/aokp. In stock huawei rom internal memory is mounted to data/shared. But custom recoveries have an option to bypass only internal memory that mounted to data/media. So for stock rom these recoveries will do backup of internal memory during backup and will do wipe during factory reset. But they wont do it for custom roms like cm10/pa etc.

Check the screen of the mediapad while connecting. ADB ask for permission to connect to your pc since a while. If you do not grant that permission, the device is listed as offline. You will also have to allow root access via ADB in the developer options if you need it, as it is disabled by default now.
Wow, youre great. Mediapad live forever :good:
Camera is fixed New cm Focal camera works reaaaaaaly bad, almost not usable, but stock camera seems to work fine. I think even it will be better to not include Focal in release to free some space for gapps.
Now is the hardest part left - to backport bluez for bt.

Lol, that doesn't sound like a lot. People should really use millibitcoins by now. "I send you 100 mBTC" sounds a lot better.
@after_silence: For 0.1BTC I would think about generating a bitcoin wallet. Takes 5 minutes, and BTCs are skyrocketing.

Google Services Framework Fix (step by step instructions)This will fix Play Store issuesMAKE A NAND BACKUP OF YOUR NON WORKING ROM
Code:
STEP 1: Restore a working backup (one you know play store worked on)
STEP 2: Download a windows android file browser (I recommend Android Comander)
STEP 3: Connect your device to your PC, Open the android file browser
STEP 4: Browse to /data/data and locate "com.google.android.gsf"
STEP 5: Copy the folder from STEP 4 to your sdcard (remember this location)
STEP 6: Restore your non working ROM from in recovery, Reboot
STEP 7: using a root explorer (or the windows android browser) locate the folder from STEP 5
STEP 8: Copy the folder from STEP 5 into /data/data make sure you choose to overwrite the folder and files
STEP 9: Reboot (You must reboot first, do not immediately try to open play store)
STEP 10: Once rebooted test Play Store, Google Plus and Hangouts all should work fine.
I realize this seems like a daunting task just to fix the Play Store,
but there is no easier way at this point to accomplish this the Google account MUST exist before restoring this folder
in order for the fix to work.

Everything appears to be working great, though I am still on the new Hboot, so it's more likely to work fine. :silly: I'm running it with the stock kernel, but what are the benefits of an unsecured boot.img?

Insecure boot image lets you use adb remount, and adb push or adb pull etc. to /system and its contents.
also the included boot image has init.d support, sdcard performance tweaks and evitareul_common tweaks. so you will get better performance when streaming large video files or playing music from your /data/media folder
great but 1 bug
Flashed the rom and everything is working, except Google search. Every time I use voice search I get Google search has stopped. Super smooth though. Great work.

So far so good,
Cam+video working, which is a plus over some of the others
Data not reconnecting after reboot, but "Smanager" works to fix that
Looking forward to more options on theming and customization...
Texdroider dpi changer works to set at 480, and THAT is important to me
I flashed SuperSU using TWRP after first boot, then upgraded the binaries and NO ISSUES
Looking good so far guys

An even simpler option to always fix your data on reboot without the use of a third-party script manager is to add a script to your init.d folder.
1) Use your favorite root file browser to navigate to /etc/init.d
2) in that folder, create a blank text document and name it 00killrild or whatever you want so long as it starts with 00
3) edit the blank file to have these three lines only
#!/system/bin/sh
su
killall rild
4) set permissions to -rw-r--r--
5) once this is done, reboot. Now your phone will always reset the modem on boot and will do it slightly quicker than an app without the dependencies that brings along with it.
All of this is assuming that init.d tweaks are supported by your kernel (so far, the majority of these custom roms do support it).
Good luck!
Everything so far works well apart from a message that keeps popping up. "Call forwarding services has been canceled" anyone else having this problem?
EDIT
Data works for me without 3rd party apps or adding scripts.
Been running this since last night and like it. Runs very stable and apart from the typical data issues on reboots I haven't noticed any serious bugs.

Inbox by Gmail is not working on this ROM, which is a huge deal for me. And some other apps too. Otherwise looks like the best N for N5
still the best. the most best(and yes it is)
Does the "fastboot -w" also wipes the internal storagE?
Saw this in logcat:

Flash instructions

HERE for the 3/32GB T95Z variant(Mirrored and renamed custom-recovery.img for the sake of flashing instructions)
Flash instructions
1. Download ADB and install it on your pc(not explaining this, there are 5 second installers) then open a command prompt in the directory of the custom recovery
2. Enable USB debugging, go to settings>about and click build number about 10 times, then go back to the main settings menu and you will see developer options, enter it and check allow USB debugging.
3. Connect to your device via IP address. go to settings>about>status and get your IP address. it should be something like 192.168.25.19
4. In CMD type the following commands, replace YOURIPADDRESS with the address we got from step 3
Code:
adb connect YOURIPADDRESS
adb push custom-recovery.img /sdcard/
adb shell su -c dd if=/sdcard/custom-recovery.img of=/dev/block/recovery
adb reboot recovery
ADDITIONAL
To revert, Download the stock recovery from HERE and do step 4 again, this time replacing custom-recovery.img with stock-recovery.img
Code:
adb connect YOURIPADDRESS
adb push stock-recovery.img /sdcard/
adb shell su -c dd if=/sdcard/stock-recovery.img of=/dev/block/recovery
adb reboot recovery
Modified Launcher
Heres a modified sunvell launcher i made, the UI is ugly when you first get the device so this makes it alot smoother, custom wallpapers are currently semi working so i didnt include it in this version.
But heres what it will look like.

There are different variants with different wifi chips according to research, however recovery should work on all, if worst comes to worst take a backup of the recovery image, anything goes wrong flash it using my method
The box I have has an issue with this old version of the Google Play store on it...which doesn't work well
And the launcher doesn't let you place the newest one on it.
So this will easily allow me to root or so far all you have here is a recovery?
And you just started working on this Box it seems?

So this will easily allow me to root or so far all you have here is a recovery?
And you just started working on this Box it seems?

The device comes rooted from factory, is the issue you are facing is playstore keeps prompting setup then that is an issue with their distributed GAPPS.
When switching to magisk root i noticed playstore prompts root access?
My guess is they have modified the playstore.
Yes my issue was #1 the play store on launcher was version 6.9 and always prompted setup it seems to be labeled Play Store 1.0 in Titanium Backup
However there is another Play store that is actually the current version and it works fine...
I did see its rooted, had no idea thanks....Are all Android Boxes rooted from factory?
My firmware ends in 1075 is this the most current?

Thus exactly why I think it's a modified playstore distributed with the firmware
Yeah as far as I know all boxes are rooted from factory, a very wierd root implemention as updating SU results in a bootloop, simply removing Su files from xbin removes root and only then you can root with magisk with TWRP
In the program I'm making there's an update GAPPS option, this will fix the issue and romkve old play store

Ok so it sounds like I should wait for your newer stuff to come out? Or does what youve released already add Magisk?
Is my firmware current? Wirless UPdate says it is
Looks like a great project will it also work on a t95u pro

There are different variants with different wifi chips according to research, however recovery should work on all, if worst comes to worst take a backup of the recovery image, anything goes wrong flash it using my method

hey here is a few bugs i have with t95z with the latest 1075
settings crash and the fake playstore
bluetooth audio is not working it just sounds weird
uhm the navigation bar if u click on it need to reset it to get it back up
im using h96 firmware on my t95 much better firmware
but the only thing that is not working
is the device wont go to sleep
it just turns screen off but device is still running
and the last thing is if u power off the device u cant power it on with the remote for some reason
if u able to take h96 firmware and make it work with the t95z remote it will be perfect cuz the h96 firmware everything works
Totally agree with mehmeh on the 1075 bugs...same here

Confused....will this do the same things for the T95Z plus you were working on before?

If you check all my other tools, I'm able to make ANYONE a rom developer, even with not programming experience.
This tool will do EVERYTHING at the click of a button
