ROM
Gapps
SuperSU-2.45 (Root)
I strongly Recommend using 'pico Gapps', since system of LP takes a lot of room and may cause issues unless you use a pit file to get more space. also you can always download all the google apps from the store.
Instructions:
1. Do a full wipe!
2. Use CWM 6.0.4.5 or higher
3. Flash ROM (may take 5-10 mins, just wait it will flash)
4. flash gapps
5. Flash root (this ROM is not pre-rooted! if you want root you must flash the super-su zip above)
6. Reboot
Current bugs:
You tell me? (Using kitkat stock camera for now so 1080P HD recording works!)
feel free to report more issues!

Boot animation is broken. Stuck at the beginning, but the rom boots.
Also the advanced reboot is not working. When I hit reboot, the phone reboots, without asking me for advanced reboot.
Thanks the dev for the great efforts bringing that rom to us. Finally a LP rom with plenty of customizations.

Both issues are known, no idea why boot animation gets stuck but for the recovery just use adb or install an app that sends the commend to reboot to recovery

Another issue I noticed today:
- Launcher is often killed when I'm doing something else. When I hit Home I have to wait the launcher to start.
May someone recommend a Performance settings in order to solve that?
Edit: Once again thanks for @sooti . Great work.

There's a terrible deadlock issue on all JSS15J ROMs where the screen freezes for some seconds and then it goes back to normal. PA team had to rebase their work after a few tries and now uses a JWR66V base with JSS15J fixes and improvements. It's still a mystery so far, no one has figured out the root of the problem.

Thanks bro,i did what you said about using NEW MACLAW kernel 1213,so i replace boot.img in the zip file with that of 1213 boot.img and flash the rom,and it work,it has boot up successfully. Awesome work GAVA97 i like this rom already, bug that i have come across with this rom is "unfortunately google keyboard has stopped" along with the already known bugs of CM 11.But for a first build its a lovely rom.:good:

A few bugs i have come across, back button don't work also volume up and down for audio don't work so i had to go into settings >audio>volume ,to turn up or down volume. The sound quality wasn't good i thought, yes i know its first build so we have along way for all CM 11 based roms to be bug free, but never the less its a wonderful rom,i appreciate your effort.:good:

I don't have bugs you described, only the sound is not loud as in CM11 by Maclaw @desmond462 .
I thought this ROM has HALO and PIE but I don't see it in setting @Gava97?
I see only built-in animation setting. No CRT effect either.

I am still getting those bugs, unfortunately google keyboard has stopped. And as for the volume,it work when i pull down drop down toggle,i can see audio turning up or down but otherwise i can see or hear any difference in volume which means it doesn't work on home screen. As for those things you don't see in setting maybe they are built in features on the Mokee kernel which we are not using, its NEW MACLAW kernel 1213.
Looks Promising..

GAVA97 its a awesome and silky smooth rom,but could you please figure out why it wouldn't install in the first place, because i like to have some of those features you highlighted in the post like ad-hoc connection along with others awesome features that come with that particular kernel.:fingers-crossed:
I really hope a bright future of Xperia U with this ROM and also hope that this ROM doesn't end up incomplete as Official PAC-man ROM by percy.
Also, Sorry for OT.
Will try when I get time and will report the bugs.
For now Exams going to start so will have to wait.

This is actually very nicely done. I hope building will be more regular with updates on one off.
Only issues that I have is that power button won't bring the power menu, but reboot the phone.

Nope it still boots. Not only I used Supersu 2.65 but also the latest build from his developer site. So not going to bother anymore.

Ah sure. Since it is in testing stage, I didn't want to clutter the thread. Hope it works. Thanks for testing.
thanks, will try .
1rst flash : doesnt and never boot for me, stuck on Samsung Logo
2nd flash : with ODIN, flashed AOSP-LP-Kernel+_02-08-2015_TWRP-2.8.7.0 from @arnab, rom booted fine
EDIT : but if it booted fine, just rebooted at end of Initializing process app after booting....
3rd flash : from TWRP recovery, flashed Kernel_Dorimanx-V11.0b010-[18-31]-[25-08]-LP-SGII-GSSTUDIOS-NON-TRIM-signed from @gsstudios , i'm on initilizing process now....wifi...google....seem to be ok now
No matter what to do is stuck at samsung logo. Flashed it with CWM recovery and TWRP recovery still on logo.
EDIT:Flashed dorimanx kernel it finally boot up.

yes, also, is higly recommended to flash dorimanx kernel first and then reboot to recovery and then make the classic wipes and finally flash the rom with gapps. It worked. In a moment i will upload some screenshots.
Does the rom work fine when flashing other kernels?

With stock kernel is not good cause is on samsung logo. other kernels booted fine.
eDIT:Arnab kernel, gsstudios dorimanx kernel, gustavo kernel by lysergic acid booted fine.
It stays on the samsung logo coz the second init like init_slim.rc or init_du.rc or init_cm.rc is either missing or is not compatible with the current rom... Meaning there is a mismatch. Generally this doeant happen if the kernel is compiled along with ROM coz the ramdisk that gets compiled from specific ROM build tools and later injected inside the zimage or boot.img along with recovery... The init.slim.rc etc... Resides inside the ramdisk that does the preboot init work.. So if u dnt have a proper second init... The ROM would get stuck in the white samsung logo.

I think you should make SELinux permissive by default because of Viper4Android preinstalled in this ROM.. Just a thought of mine

Yeap, that's a thing too.. Some users may don't like V4A but they want Enforcing SELinux.. AudioFX is still there for some basic stuff ( i just disabled that ) ..

I think the solution can be that one can download an selinux switcher from the app store and use that.

To get work V4A with enforcing selinux just flash Supersu zip After that I recommend flash V4A from this thread.
Cyanogenmod are doing a lot of changes to LiveDisplay, and that is the reason why it is so bugged out at the moment.
