[MOD] Dual In-Call Speakerphone - 23.0.1.A.5.77 & 23.1.A.0.690 FWs - LOLLIPOP UPDATE
Here is a MOD to make both your speakers work when you are on Loud-Speaker during a call..
Tested and working by yours truly
FOR 23.0.1.A.5.77 (Kitkat) & 23.1.A.0.690 (Lollipop) FIRMWARES ONLY
Flash the .zip in recovery, it will backup your original mixer file before changing anything..
Choose Z3C_Dual_Speaker_Mod.zip for Kitkat .77 fw
Choose Z3C_Dual_Speaker_Mod_23.1.A.0.690.zip for Lollipop .690 fw
ALWAYS MAKE A CWM BACKUP FIRST BEFORE FLASHING!!

I can mod the files in newer FW's as and when they come around.. no problem

For this I think it would be easier for you to use a third party app.. Modding the files for that purpose would not be very good..

Cool, my Z3C is getting better and better by the day. Thanks a ton for the mod.
Now, no intention to steal your work but neither do I wanna die dumb one day , hence would you mind sharing your insights what exactly needs to modified in order to enable both speakers in a call? Thanks again! :thumbup:

From what I saw in the XML, it forces the audio mixer to use "Both" speakers instead of "Bottom"

What exactly was modified in this file? Is it possible to just add necessary lines to an existing file, because I already have it modified for 'extra volume in headphones' mod, and wouldn't like to loose that.

it give me error when flashing with twrp.

worked like a charm on D5833 (23.0.1.A.5.77) flashin from TWRP booted by NDR Utils
maybe your download is somehow corrupted ? did you try re-download it ? save it on the internal storage maybe?

Go into system/etc using root explorer or similar file manager, delete the .bak off the end off the following file:
mixer_paths.xml.bak
Then set the permissions and reboot.
Or you could just restore your CWM backup that you should of done before flashing..

you know ... the problem is that I do not have the file " mixer_paths.xml.bak " into system/etc
not saved automatically
