I am planing to change system default Icons[contacts,music player..etc] in SGA...I will first extract the firmware files and find the res where the icon files are present and replace them with mine..then repack it and flash my SGA using Odin...will this work?

I want to build a Custom ROM for my HTC, but I can't extract the files from OS.nb (extracted with htcRIE.exe),

Anyone who can help me?
-use osbuilder instead htcrie to dump source rom and create packages
-use a stock rom as source for dumping (no custom rom)

hi guys i am struggling to unpack system.bin after extracting the stock rom with 7zip, i tried a few stock roms but it's the same, it gives an error
what's the best way to unpack tar.md5 and then extract system.img? i wish to make my own custom uk rom, could someone help me please, thank you.
