- Fix for WifiCalling and extra toggle enabler. All-in-one, flash in recovery.
Download at bottom of this post
- Stock music app flashable zip located at the bottom of this post.
- For testing purposes I've added a flashable zip of the stock features.xml to the bottom of this post. This will revert the wificalling fix but is here to troubleshot any other issues that may be caused by the csc tweaks included within the wificalling fix.
- Flashable zips to switch between custom bootanimation support and stock added to the bottom of this post.

- Android L Floating Messages Mod
This mod may be specific to the deodexed build so no guarantees it will work with odexed.
Screenshots and download located at the bottom of this post.
- Security patched exchange/email mod.
- HiddenMenu: (##DATA#) MSL check removed/PRL Write enabled
- Safe volume check removal mod added.
The reboot will take about 15-20 minutes!

Woo-hoo thank you so much!

Just a heads up if anyone wants to restore an NKD backup it will NOT run on the OA6 bootloader unless the OA6 kernel is flashed along with the restore (before rebooting). I'll add it my kernel repository soon and add a link on the OP to kernels & modems too.

Awesome thanks for all the work tdunham

Cant say for sure. I think it will run but not 100% certain there wont be any other strange issues. I know you can run NKD roms on the OA6 but just like the 4.4.4 bootloader, you have to also flash the (matching kernel) OA6 kernel or it wont run.

Oh, and you quoted the entire OP?

This might be handy for you guys OA6, no system, no kernel, no recovery
I made it to flash over my CM build to upgrade my Baseband, booloader etc. Feel free to link in OP if you want @tdunham
I have tested it, flashed it right over my CM install and didn't lose anything but gained the new modem etc.
Theoretically, you could flash this in Odin first then your ROM from recovery, and its alot faster than flashing the entire OA6 package.

Can do, but the million dollar question: which recovery to put in there lol
I left it out so I wouldn't feel like I was forcing someone to use what I like. I would put my build of TWRP in there if you guys have no preference, but let me know.

Bootanimation flashes ok for me, but don't show, all I get now is the Samsung S5 screen and 20 seconds later I'm on the home screen. Was the bootanimation support added after the one I tested this morning?

I have had problems with newer TWRP builds, I can put one up if needed with the latest but I already uploaded one with an older build I pieced together 2.8.0.1(It seems to be the most reliable for backup and restore to sd card for me)

Let me know if you guys want more, its not hard to make but I will most likely wait until later tonight or tomorrow to make any other requested versions.

Thanks Ramer.
I'll add one for the stock 2.8.1.0 as soon as I can.
Plus I will be moving all the old recoveries to a separate folder so there is no confusion. Too many people using old TWRP versions that aren't working properly.
So it begins another day at developing, lol morning to all, about to flash test drive this, might throw in a theme if time permits.

Known issue with Android 5.0.
Sometimes a reboot or two will resolve it but sometimes too it just takes opening an app that asks for root to begin with to give it a kickstart.

Try odin'ing autoroot, letting it reboot, and odin'ing it a second time. I've done it a few times and that seems to work. SU is there, SuperSU just seems to have an issue detecting it with lollipop.

Firmware-Only_Odin_Flashable_ Images_For_4.4.. And_5.0_Roms_Updated_2_7_15

Updated 2-7-15: Added BOA6 Firmware only odin images
Update: 12-2-14: I added firmwares with no recoveries, so what ever recovery you are using is the recovery that will stay installed. That way if you prefer a different build or different developers recovery you dont have to worry about the firmware package changing your recovery. I also added a hidden image file back into the NKD file I tested both ways and it doesnt seem to matter if its flashed or not but I put it back just to be safe. These firmware packages are labled no recovery. I also added some modems see below for details.
Here Are 4.4.2 NE5 4.4.4 NK4 and 5.0 NKD Firmware Only Flashable Odin Images. You can use these to flash back and forth between these builds without flashing the full tar ball. Simply flash your rom in recovery reboot to download mode and flash the firmware package that matches your rom and thats it. You can go back and forth between builds this way. The firmware images contain custom recoveries one contains Latest TWRP 2.8.10 and The other contains PhilZs 6.57.8 recovery. The Philzs Firmware packages are labeled philz and the other ones are the ones that contain TWRP recovery.
Firmwares include boot.images, bootloaders and modems. They are the full factory image minus the system image and cache images they are each around 80mb in size
Sprint Firmware Odin Flashable Images
Here is some modem only odin flashable tar images. If wanting to use a different modem on a different build (for example: use ndk modem on nk4 rom) just flash the tar in odin. Thanks @tdunham
Sprint S5 Modems
All 6 stock kernels, flashable zips and odin flashable versions. Thanks @tdunham
Stock Kernels
These are so bloody cool to have.
Show your appreciation
Make sure you hit the thanks button on the OP!
---------- Post added at 03:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:27 PM ----------
Don't forget that to flash any of these properly, you should enter download mode on the phone from a POWERED OFF STATE.
If anyone needs odin, they are available here:

So let me get this straight. I'm currently on 4.4.4 NK4 rooted and Philz recovery (prefer Philz).
If I want to test 5 I can flash the Philz philz_nkd_firmware.tar.md5 with Odin, without having to do full wipe and not have to re-load everything?
I understand the best way is to full wipe. But I've had high levels od success with dirty flashes. So I try that method first. I perform a full wipe if problems exist.

Right on. Philz is already included in that one.
HOWEVER, I have issues going back and forth from 4.4.x to 5.0 bootloaders which require a full wipe of internal SD (for me anyway) or the roms just wont boot. I think L places something/needs something on internal SD that is conflicting. And I cant say about data restores, you'll have to find that out on your own.
Thank you jrkruse!! This is so very cool.

Update adding firmware packages that flash no recoveries, so if you choose to use a different build or different developers recovery it will remain unchanged on firmware flash. I also added some modem only tars. See OP for details and Instructions.

Just flash the modem only tar from the op in this thread. If your still on NE5 bootloader make sure you flash the modem. Don't flash the tar image that contains modem and non-hlos as this needs to match bootloader. Remember sometimes you have to flash the modem twice to make it stick. I always just flash in odin and make sure reboot is unchecked load modem tar image in phone (CP) section flash then unplug cable pull battery reboot to download mode and flash again.

Clean install. Wiped everything. Factory reset before and after flash. Everything working fine minus Google maps? Soon as first boot before i could go through welcome setup maps force closed. After i signed into everything and looked around the rom a little i tried opening maps and it force closes doesn't even try to open? Everything else seems gravy so far

I'll check it out when I get time. Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling from the Play Store. If that works, I'll just add it as a known issue for now.
Will uninstall then reinstall and reboot then let you know. No worries. Just giving you heads up. You guys rock! Thanks for everything!!

It looks like that worked so I added it to the OP under Known Issues.
Also, did you guys know that besides the Factory Reset Protection feature (not sure if it even works on this build), that the screen pinning feature is available in Settings/security?
It seems to work but I cant seem to exit pinning holding back/recents key like it tells you to do. Rebooting the phone seems to exit the pinned app is the only way I could clear the pinned app.
Yes. Uninstalling it and rebooting helped. It worked. And now maps works with no issues. So far everything else works as it should. I'll let you know any more issues or errors if i run into them. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication
I have a few questions. Do I install the Rom zip on internal or external SD card. And when do. I. Flash. The. Bloat. File in the. Process. And. Does. Mobil. Oden work. For. This
Question. How do I flash a custom recovery if already on od3? All attempts have failed through odin 3.10.
Would installing the hotspot mod remove the ability to update PRL and Profile via System Update? System Update seems to be missing completely.. Thanks!

Doesn't matter which storage.
Odin does not flash zip files.

Try a different version of odin.
If you're allowing it to auto reboot after flashing custom recovery, it wont work.
Follow the directions on the OP if you're not sure.

No it shouldn't.
That's odd because that happens on some of the other lollipop roms too (system update missing).
No idea why it happens for some but not others. Maybe someone running this can say if they have it in their flash since I'm not running it at the moment.
So after I. Wipe. I. Update with the Rom zip? And the Rom will be the new os. Sorry I'm use to flashing tar files not updating with zips to get the Rom to work

Yes, that's pretty much it. If you have trouble with the rom, you might consider wiping internal storage too after saving whatever... and reflashing.
So don't unzip the file. 1 more question sorry. The page I found it on here said nothing about kernel or modem yet it had links at the bottom for the Rom. Do you. Know if they r included or do I need to update those too?

You didn't explain the word "then" is it clean or dirty flash, anyway, I have tried both ways to flash your ROM.
1. Dirty Flash
The ROM was successfully flashed, but when I go for setting, it FC.
2. Clean Flash
It won't boot at all, stop on blank screen after Samsung logo.
I have tried both ways, without any mods, SuperSU or any additional apps. Thus, I believe, your ROM is conflicting with the original stock. This is almost the same as the other deodexed DOK4 ROM, while the DOJ5 ROM seems working nicely.
Perhaps it is better to play around with DOJ5 ROM instead of DOK4, or maybe you can find the error on future development. Thanks for your wonderful effort, your ROM surely looks better than the stock, just need some fixing. Keep up the work.

Finally I have succeeded to flash this good looking ROM on my SM-P601, these are the steps;
(Please follow and read properly)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Download deodexed DOJ5 ROM from the next door thread (Official Deodexed)
2. As usual, put it on your SDCard
3. Boot into TWRP, for me, I use TWRP 2.8.76
4. Flash the deodexed DOJ5 ROM til its done (by default it will install SuperSU 2.52)
5. When DOJ5 is done, do clean dalvik and cache, just those 2 and no others
6. Then flash this modded DOK4 ROM and wait til its done
**Though this modded DOK4 is deodexed, it has no root access which it will conflict with the previous installed DOJ5 and it may cause boot failure or bootloop, thus, you need systemless SuperSU
7. Next is to flash SuperSU 2.66 (I haven't tried using CF AutoRoot)
8. When everything is complete, again do clean dalvik and cache
9. Boot to system without installing SuperSU from TWRP (it will ruin systemless SuperSU 2.66)
**REMEMBER TO NEVER INSTALL SUPERSU FROM TWRP IT WILL BREAK ROOT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Result are shown by attached picture
1. Base ROM is DOK4
2. Baseband is DOJ4
3. Note 5 Icons and appearance
4. Root access
5. Ext SDCard access R/W
6. 5 ways on reboot menu (on restart option)
7. Camera is working
8. Latest Google Play
9. Updated Galaxy Apps
10. ViperFX Working
11. Air Command Working (Disable default air command if you wish to use this new looks)
That's all folks, enjoy the ROM and please be kind to say thank you on binh24' wonderful work for our beloved SM-P601.

Hi, are you using P601XXDOK4 rom? I'm using P601ODDDOJ3 from India and I think it only works if I flash it with the lockscreen effect.
P601xxudok4
Stock rom cooked by me.
● Deodexed
● Debloated
● Rooted with new method that does not generate conflict with bootloader
● Fix external sdcard write
● All languages available
● Knox removed
⊙ advisable to do an installation clean. it may be that the screen is black in the part to choose the languages. turn off and turn on the screen that all back to normal.

1. Install free "Package Disabler" Or 'Titanium BackUp' from Google Play Store.
2. Launch this app, search for "SecurityLogAgent".
3. Then disable/freeze it.
Do not do anything else. That's it.
Result: You will not see this annoying notification again.
