[BOOTANIMATION] Z3 BIOS boot animation v3.0 [KK]/v4.2 [LP]/v5.1 [MM] Final - Xperia Z3 Themes and Apps

So, I created a nice boot animation in Windows BIOS style, using LorDestinY's tutorial.
Images are contained in multiple folders, so no black screen, and have the size of 1080x1920 for Z3.
The information used for the lines are as real as it goes, and is based on the D6603 model.
Have fun!
*If you want to use it anywhere, just credit my name. If you want this for other devices, I can share the psd used, after I clean it up a little
**Please, experiment with the FPS value, and give me some feedback

Can you please take a picture, or explain the problem a little bit more detailed? I can't find any issues on the .zip itself. Also, if it's possible, can you answer if 1080x1920 is the original resolution for Z3 boot animations, beacuse I don't own the device?

Hey guys, sorry for all trouble.
Indeed, settings it to 644 has fixed it

It's good but my phone seems to boot too fast as I never see the android.

Just a quick note, although Dev-Host remains within the rules of XDA we are advising people to begin migrating their hosting site to another one as Dev-Host has now started using multiple download buttons for advertising and has a default setting of using their own download manager which downloads a .exe to your computer.
It is recommended to use another hosting site.

Thank you for the info. Is mega.co.nz a good choice? There is no adware, and the download speed is good, but it's not available everywhere. Google Drive is not as good, but do you have any other idea?

Hey all... Might be a dumb question, but does this require root?
I just got my Z3 a few weeks ago and haven't played around with it too much yet.
Thanks!!

Cool looking boot animation, well done!

Hi NFS_FM,
Thank you for your artistic work of this boot Animation for our device.
I'm using it from your boot Animation of Z1 and then Z3.
Only one thing I must to say, that the boot up time in Z3 is slightly different (faster) than Z1, so after I calculate the time of boot up of my Z3, I concluded that 7 FPM was very slow for your Animation to synchronised with the boot up time, so I found that the ideal FPS to be fit the boot up time with comparing the no. of images in your boot Animation, is between 18-20 FPS, which is fit good for our device.
Good job and thanks

[bootanimaton] APPLES ARE FOR NOM. (preview/RE/CWM)

Hello all,
So last night I decided to change back to one of my favorite bootanimations.. I went to the thread to download it again, found here: http://goo.gl/LcdU3
However, all the links are dead!
So I dug out the Captivate and sure enough I found it!
I take no credit for the animation, all credit goes to cmbrougham!

generally people would record a clip of it and post it onto youtube, that's the easiest way if you have another camera. otherwise they would throw together a .gif image from the images in the bootanimation.zip archive

[TUTORIAL] Custom bootanimation on Stock ROM's

Hello
For all the stock user's out there who are tired of samsung or operator logo boot animation ... and never managed to get rid of her ... those day's are over!
There's only a few things you need:
- A Thinking Brain
- A Pair of Eyes
- An Ace with Root
- Root Explorer
Now let´s go ( I've tried this my self and works like a charm, I'm running Stock DDQ8 at the moment )
First of all if you have CWM mode installed you should do a backup just in case, if you don't have CWM make sure you follow all the steps properly!
Download Both File in Attachment and extract them ... !ATTENTION! These are not flashable zip files!
Now:
- Put both files in your SD Card
- With Root Explorer Copy both file to System\Bin and replace the files that are already there, set permission on both file's to: rwxr-xr-x (just like the image below) (If you don't set permission you'll be stucked in a boot loop!)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
- Then choose whatever boot animation you want ( I leave a link to a thread with boot animations for our ace below 8D )
BOOTANIMATION
- Rename the whichever boot animation you've downloaded to bootanimation.zip, put in your SD Card and with root explorer move it to System\Media ( Delete the qmg files on that directory) and set the permission's to rw-r--r-- and all of that should look like the image's below!
And it's done now just reboot your phone!
Now some other things!
There is no way to change boot off animation but there's a way to not see her!
If you wanna get rid of boot off animation just go to System\ Media\ Video\ Shutdown, and delete the qmg file in there
A couple of note's to all of u!
1st - To all of you that get an error "..... because the file system is read-only" you have to mount it in the top right corner. Just like the images below!
2nd - I am not responsible for any harm that your phone may suffer!

Is it possible to make the same boot animation for z3 tablet?
I just flashed it but the bootanimation is small in the center of the screen.
I tried to change desc.txt to 1920x1200, but that didn´t do it.
The screen was completely black after i changet the desc.txt.

Hi sorry for the late answer,
well techinically yes but you should edit all the 200/300 images of the boot logo in 1920*1080. Moreover right now they're made for a vertical screen so you can't just "rotate" them because then the logo would display the wrong way around. So it's necessary to resize and re-paint them where needed. I'm not gonna lie, it's a long job and right now i just don't have the time to do it.. Maybe later on

This ROM has that boot animation. I've tested it on stock Lolipop and it works fine. I'd upload the file itself but I don't know who's animation it is. I also don't have the ROM downloaded to see if its easily extracted; I pulled the animation out of a TWRP backup when I did it, which was a tar file.

That's THE best ROM btw, if you can live without gapps and xposed or can live with gapps and xposed.

[THEME] Customized Poco's Stock Boot Animation

This is a modified version of the stock boot animation that came with the Pocophone F1. I've made it myself becuase I thought that the stock boot animation is kinda boring.
READ NOTES BELOW FOR DOWNLOAD LINKS
What's new?
Xiaomi's original brand logo is now used and it is smaller compared to V1
Updated the animation in Pocophone logo with a sleek one, I used the YouTube official video by Pocophone Global. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cwodu4vZBok
Updated the "powered by android" logo with newer one.

These files are not flashable zip, you will need to manually replace the bootanimation.zip on your device
Installation guide
1. Extract the "bootanimation.zip"
2. Replace/Delete exisiting "bootanimation.zip" on your device.
3. Set permissions for the "bootanimation.zip" to 0644 (rw-r--r--)
The common locations of bootanimation.zip can be found on:
/system/media/
/system/product/media/
/system/media/theme/cust_config/global/
However, some ROMS refused to play the boot animation, specifically those that are placed inside /system/product/media.
So the recommended way is to place the custom bootanimation.zip on /system/media/ folder.

Looks great! It burns my eyes in the dark though, think you can upload a version with the yellow and black inverted on the MI logo?

Sorry for the late reply, Yes it is, I've used that youtube video as a framework for creating the boot animation. I didn't have time to upload it so I was kinda late.
Support ? Crdroid pie?

This is a modified version of the stock boot animation that came with the Pocophone F1. I've made it myself becuase I thought that the stock boot animation is kinda boring.
READ NOTES BELOW FOR DOWNLOAD LINKS
What's new?
Xiaomi's original brand logo is now used and it is smaller compared to V1
Updated the animation in Pocophone logo with a sleek one, I managed to get it from the YouTube official video by Pocophone Global. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cwodu4vZBok
Updated the "powered by android" logo with newer one.
Preview:
Version 1
Removed the boring 4 dot progress bar at the bottom
Added circular indeterminate with matching accent
Xiaomi logo at the beginning
Smooth animations/transitions
Matches the resolution of the device (1080x2246)
Preview:
The zip file is a flashable zip.
NOTE: There are total of 5 versions of zip files for the boot animation.
For Stock Android (LineageOS and LineageOS-based ROMS)
V1: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261636477
V2: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261636476
For MIUI (EU roms etc.)
V1: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261636473
V2: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261636475
For Pixel Experience ROM (Since it supports Dark Boot animation, I've combined my two bootanimation into one zip)
