This is a modified version of the stock boot animation that came with the Pocophone F1. I've made it myself becuase I thought that the stock boot animation is kinda boring.

Updated the animation in Pocophone logo with a sleek one, I used the YouTube official video by Pocophone Global. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cwodu4vZBok
Updated the "powered by android" logo with newer one.

Version 1

Added circular indeterminate with matching accent
Xiaomi logo at the beginning
Smooth animations/transitions
Matches the resolution of the device (1080x2246)

These files are not flashable zip, you will need to manually replace the bootanimation.zip on your device
Installation guide
1. Extract the "bootanimation.zip"
2. Replace/Delete exisiting "bootanimation.zip" on your device.
3. Set permissions for the "bootanimation.zip" to 0644 (rw-r--r--)
The common locations of bootanimation.zip can be found on:
/system/media/
/system/product/media/
/system/media/theme/cust_config/global/
However, some ROMS refused to play the boot animation, specifically those that are placed inside /system/product/media.
So the recommended way is to place the custom bootanimation.zip on /system/media/ folder.

Sorry for the late reply, Yes it is, I've used that youtube video as a framework for creating the boot animation. I didn't have time to upload it so I was kinda late.

Support ? Crdroid pie?

These aren't CWM Update Zips so they have to be placed into the system/media folder manually using root explorer.
set the permission to rw-r--r-- and reboot your phone to see you new boot animation!
How to easily Port Boot Animations
I used 7zip to extract the archive files from a bootanimation.zip and open up the description text.
Inside it will say something like "480 800 30p" on the first line, the first two are the size of the images so for galaxy 3 you want to change that to "240 400".
the next to numbers is frames per second so change it to what ever you like really... i think between "25p" and "35p" works best but play around and see how it feels.
come back out of the description text and highlight the three files (part 0 part 1 and desc.txt). right click and go to 7zip (or winrar i suppose if ur using it) and click add to archive.
change the name to boot animation. change the file type to zip. and change it to "store" mode.
click okay and it should produce a new bootanimation.zip with your other three files. thats your new bootanimation!
just push it to system media as explained and you are done!
Nice work!
BTW I am facing the white screens in between the boot animation. How can I fix that???
Trying from alot of time

At the start of the boot animation or in the middle? at the start i think is a problem with graphics on cm7... in the middle is the way the two files (part 0 part 1 meet)
copy my desc.txt if you want and just add your own pics and that should fix it???
also guys! make sure your files overlap a little bit

Glad you like it You can make it in photoshop. If you're interested: You pick the first image of the sequence in the "open" menu and select the sequence box. Photoshop figures out what the order of the images in that folder is and makes you a nice little animation wich you can then export as a gif (I don't know if you even own photoshop but maybe someone else finds this usefull)

The ICS one is a 4x upscaled low-res animation. Shame there (still) isn't a proper sharp high-res version to be found anywhere.

I'm rockin the sgh-i957 with Danorom which is brilliant. Is there a simple way to do this? I can't seem to get the images to flash but can I just say copy someones samsungboot.qmg file(s)? Can you upload those?
I would also like to know if a custom boot animation would be possible on 4.0.4, and if there is a way to just edit the qmg files.
weird
Hi safariking,
I made a copy of the original cm10 bootanimation.zip and then replaced it with the ubuntu one from the first page, and everything worked as expected.
So I tried a second one (sony S) and all I got was the original android letters lighting up instead of the bootanimation. Also tried the JB one without success. So I copied the original bootanimation.zip from CM10 back, but the bootanimation stayed the android letters.
What am I doing wrong?
Hey , thanks for upload (im late)

[BOOTANIMATION] Z3 BIOS boot animation v3.0 [KK]/v4.2 [LP]/v5.1 [MM] Final

So, I created a nice boot animation in Windows BIOS style, using LorDestinY's tutorial.
Images are contained in multiple folders, so no black screen, and have the size of 1080x1920 for Z3.
The information used for the lines are as real as it goes, and is based on the D6603 model.
Have fun!
*If you want to use it anywhere, just credit my name. If you want this for other devices, I can share the psd used, after I clean it up a little

Just a quick note, although Dev-Host remains within the rules of XDA we are advising people to begin migrating their hosting site to another one as Dev-Host has now started using multiple download buttons for advertising and has a default setting of using their own download manager which downloads a .exe to your computer.
It is recommended to use another hosting site.

Thank you for the info. Is mega.co.nz a good choice? There is no adware, and the download speed is good, but it's not available everywhere. Google Drive is not as good, but do you have any other idea?

I don't know yet, when I finish Z series, I will check other devices too.
Cool looking boot animation, well done!
Hi NFS_FM,
Thank you for your artistic work of this boot Animation for our device.
I'm using it from your boot Animation of Z1 and then Z3.
Only one thing I must to say, that the boot up time in Z3 is slightly different (faster) than Z1, so after I calculate the time of boot up of my Z3, I concluded that 7 FPM was very slow for your Animation to synchronised with the boot up time, so I found that the ideal FPS to be fit the boot up time with comparing the no. of images in your boot Animation, is between 18-20 FPS, which is fit good for our device.
Good job and thanks

Is it possible to make the same boot animation for z3 tablet?
I just flashed it but the bootanimation is small in the center of the screen.
I tried to change desc.txt to 1920x1200, but that didn´t do it.
The screen was completely black after i changet the desc.txt.
It could be nice to have that boot animation on my z3 tablet....

Hi sorry for the late answer,
well techinically yes but you should edit all the 200/300 images of the boot logo in 1920*1080. Moreover right now they're made for a vertical screen so you can't just "rotate" them because then the logo would display the wrong way around. So it's necessary to resize and re-paint them where needed. I'm not gonna lie, it's a long job and right now i just don't have the time to do it.. Maybe later on

This ROM has that boot animation. I've tested it on stock Lolipop and it works fine. I'd upload the file itself but I don't know who's animation it is. I also don't have the ROM downloaded to see if its easily extracted; I pulled the animation out of a TWRP backup when I did it, which was a tar file.

Google introduced new font "Product Sans" in the Android Oreo 8.1 Developer Preview. This font is by default applied on the Settings app, lockscreen PIN entry and clock on the Pixel 2 series. These fonts are extracted directly from the system images and repacked into suitable files for installing. This should change your fonts system-wide across all apps and typefaces. font packages are available at the end of the post as attachments.

Damn! I really liked this font when I saw it on videos of the DP1. Just to confirm, this is a flashable zip right?
Put a revert back file as well. As this replaces whole /system/font folder

Yes Just Flash With TWRP or Any Other Recovery
Beautiful font but doesn't really work for me on oxygen os beta 15. The font isn't systemwide, only really works on gboard and Facebook and other apps. But the system apps like settings have the normal font

Google is your friend.
Very nice font. Love it
Really cool and easy to read, maybe similar to Ubuntu Font.
Thanks!
Here is a flashable backup from OOS 4.5.1
Locksreen issue
1. Does this work on Oreo 8.1 DP2
2. I hope this doesn't have the Lockscreen "box" issue.

Doesn't seem to work for me on my Pixel XL with Oreo 8.1 DP2, rooted with magisk. I flashed twrp zip nothing changed, then I flashed the pixel zip still nothing changed.
I think a Substratum theme would be better. But still, appreciate your work, ty.
Google is your friend.
Thank you! It works perfectly on OB19
IF you want to use a magisk module you can try this https://github.com/pirasalbe/Magisk_Font_Google
Its working fine on Freedom OS 3.1
