Any sense based ROM, where Voip calls are working? - HTC Droid DNA

Hello,
I am looking for a rom, where Voip calls are working.
I have the latest firmware.
I have NusenseSix rom and voip calls dont work.
Thanks in advance. ))

The "stock sense software" has supported voip on the DNA since 4.1.1 onward.
*Custom Roms including anything ported may vary in support.

Who pissed in your cheerios?
You asked a question, I did a Google search, replied with the information I found.
As far as post counts and stats, I could care less. But the same could be said with your reply as well.
By the way, I did answer your question......
Enjoy those cheerios!

Read his post. Anything not ported and using the DNA software base will have voip working. Anything using ported software (M7 base for example) most likely will not have it functional. Nusense usually goes off m7 base.

I appreciate your effort and apologize to you. I thought you just increased your post count and since you really tried to help me the result does not matter for me.
As I know, HTC DNA does not have htc sense support and everything here is ported, so I can't find original one. I will do a search now and flash one, which is as close to original as possible and will report here.
Thanks.

I have CyanogenMod 12.0 at the moment and voip works, but bluetooth does not. It is a bigger issue. I will give a shot to some sense based roms, which are closest to stock and if woip fails will find something like you suggested.
Thanks.

Not to hijack the thread, but do you guys know of any rom that does have the bluetooth call functions working?

Have you tried any of Santod40's ROMS? They all work.

Google Now

Has anyone tried Google Now on Evo 4G LTE yet?
If so, can you please provide some feedback and which rom did you use it with.
Thanks in advance.
I would edit & detail the thread title to be as specific as the post.
Followed the instructions to get Google Now & Voice working somewhat.
It's great, be sure to detail your settings & the cards will begin to show up over time.
Some edits to location based cards might be needed.
Using Flex360's 1.75 Rom.

Google Now is only on Jelly Bean. The ELTE does not have Jelly Bean yet, but it should arrive soon considering the S4 GS3 variants are officially supported. Once a CM team member gets their hands on an ELTE or a dev gets it running we'll be able to try it.

It seems to be working okay for me, too. The Weather card is nice, and I do like the Traffic cards that pop up for your commute that show you traffic. I haven't really used Voice Search that much, but the few times I did, it seemed to work.
It does work better on my OG EVO, though, because that's actually running Jelly Bean .

Other Varient Rom Porting

So recently I have been browsing through the forums of the other Galaxy S4 variants and have found some amazing looking roms. I was wondering if it would be possible to port them to our variant. The rom in particular that really caught my eye was the FoxHound rom. It looks amazing and who wouldn't want to see that rom on our Verizon variant. So if anyone knows how or an answer please share.
This has been covered in detail. No porting is needed- you just need to change the APN. You can use just about any rom you want so long as it's not for the i9500.

While it has indeed been covered, you are correct in that I omitted the requirement to change the kernel as well. For the sake of brevity, I oversimplified it. For reference, the op can check the handful of threads in the general forum on this very subject matter.

Are you speaking from experience or from what some guy from the AT&T forums posted and showed no proof that other ROMs worked perfectly fine on are phone?

Data works? So maybe AT&T/TMo ROMs can be flashed, but not i9505s because I haven't been able to get data to work on any i9505 ROM.
Thanks for the input. I will definitely look into this further before I go ahead and try this.
So I can flash international 9505 rom that has move apps to external sd feature?
Your mileage may vary, but I haven't been able to get data to work and when I asked other people they never respond so I'm gonna guess they didn't either. The ROMs will flash perfectly fine though.
I flashed FoxHound for i9505 with a verizon custom kernel as suggested and it flashed fine, but had issues once booted.

HTC Media Link + Google Play Edition

I already posted this in the HTC One general, but I figured it was good info here too
So it seems that the Google Play Edition HTC One has moved away from sense framework completely and I should give up hopes of my Media Link HD ever working with my device again.
Anyone else out there with a media link that is now unusable due to not being on a sense rom?
I'm not too upset because #chromecast
I'll probably just sell it on ebay for $50
i guess this means that sense camera they got working on the GPE rom is worthless now too?

Yes it is. 4.3 is almost AOSP like which is great. Always wanted a stock experience that is not buggy and the GPE roms give that experience for me. With the IR working now, I'm all set.

I agree, the 4.3 GPE is amazing
Literally my only gripe with GPE is the toggles, there just aren't enough and I don't like how you have to hold them down to change them, kind of counterintuitive

Yeah I don't like how I have to press the little icon in the top right corner. I wish toggle showed up when I pull down the notification bar.

As long as it's still on your wifi network, it should still work with Bubble uPNP and similar apps. So it's not *completely* useless. Although I'm still on AT&T stock (but unlocked and S-Off), I went ahead and bought a Chromecast too and expect my MediaLink HD will get little use.

International ROM on AT&T

Just checking if anyone can recommend an international ROM for us AT&T users that has the VVM fully working and integrated into the Sense messages. I'm currently on Skyfall, which is an AT&T based ROM, so this feature works perfect. I'd like to try out an international ROM, but don't feel like going through the process only to find out that feature is not working.
Please let me know if this exists. Thank you.

There was a dev rom, but it got pulled. There is also Viper's rom, which supposedly has this working on the international build, though I haven't tried it myself.

None of them have it built into the sense messaging, but most of the more popular international roms have working vvm in separate vvm app that comes with the rom. Just read descriptions, they specifically say which ones support att vvm.
I really just wanted it built into the messaging. I found that to be a nice touch, having all text messages and voicemails consolidated into the messaging app. Thanks for your replies. Will check out Viper ROM. I used to use that on my OneXL

Yeah, I just checked. It looks like he's using the app store version.

unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped......

I'm getting this error. I am not rooted. I have tried every fix I've seen on google. I even removed the SD card and the problem still persists. The SD card ins't even in the device and I still get the error. One thing I have noticed is my media storage does not have an option to disable. I'm running out of options and can't figure out how to get rid of this error. I am unable to download anything. from files form email, from dropbox, mega and I cannot download any update from the play store. I tried a factory reset and nothing. I know this problem may have something to do with download manager and media storage but I can't get anything to work running android 5.0 please help
I want to just get another one but I'm afraid this could be tied to my profile
Edit: come to find out, the problem is with android 5.0. There is an issue where the download manager and device storage apps aren't syncing up. And the fix is found in.......you guess it.........android 5.1, which this device has never gotten. I know there is a custom rom for android 5.1 floating around. Could anyone just point me in the direction of the custom rom and a guide on rooting this device? I used odin a long time ago when this device was on 4.4 but I'm sure it's different now on 5.0.

I was using that ROM for 6 months with no issues.
Only thing I didn't like was the stock sms app is messed up and you have to use textra. I even tried another sms app like signal and it also didn't work correct.
There is a similar build called Darklord Reborn by mid3vil. The post claims the stock sms app works. However, the link to the file is dead at the moment.
There is also a post called Lots of ROMs 7.1 by NMBNMB that seems promising. I started dabbling into a couple.
Hope this helps.

Looking these over, it seems like they are all for hlte and not hltespr... Sprint being a CDMA based system may not want to play nice. It seems like Resurection Remix had more luck in this , but even there the OP crossed out the Sprint variant working on this.
I hear Sprint may be merging/bought up soon and so perhaps there may be a change in the bandwidth that will be allowed for us users?
