B010 Update (Official Beta)
Main feature of this beta update is per app dpi setting (within a 400dpi ROM framework), for those who are craving for this feature and are willing and able, feel free to give it a whirl.
Your 503L needs to be on B009 to run this update.

Update procedures as follow:
1. Create dload folder in internal sdcard
2. Copy the whole b010 zip file to dload folder (don't unzip it)
3. Rename the b010 zip file to update.zip
4. Local update

Further optimization and bug fixes for B010 update, esp to per app dpi setting.
Your 503L needs to be on B010 to run this update.

(I have yet to install these as I am on B009 KangVIP mod, don't wish to lose certain features of that mod, initial feedback from Chinese forums are mostly positive (better power management for example), but some reported wifi problems, ymmv. Have fun!)

My apology, I have always thought I am on B010 of KangVIP's mod, just checked and discovered such is not the case - I am still on their B009 mod and KangVIP has yet to release the mod for B010, my bad.
I will post in XDA once KangVIP has new mods for X1, rest be assured of that

I have updated with the link for B010 update in the OP.
And you are most right! B010 is the update for per app dpi setting, NOT B011 as I have stated originally, my bad.
B011 is an update to further optimize per app setting and to fix bugs found in B010.

Yes, these are official betas released by Huawei's engineers to a selected group of Chinese X1 users only.

i have tried it on my 501L ( french full 4G ) , and it work fine .. with 4.4 bluetooth bug ( see below )
some apps don't use the 'per app dpi settings' like Gmail, and original mail app why ?
i have also the bluetooth bug ( on all 4.4 rom that i have tested ) , on some cars :
on my Renault Clio III , the car radio reboot frequently ( and sometimes i don't know why it work fine ) , no problems on 4.2 rom , or if i stop the bluetooth on the 4.4 phone ( tried with 501L and 503 )
on my Nissan Leaf , contacts will not all synchronized on the nissan car radio , all exchange contact is synced, but only some of google contacts. if i am on 4.2 rom , ALL contacts ( exchange AND google ) is OK. result, if anybody call me , if he is exchange contact, i have the name , if it's google contact, the car radio said the number but not the name ....
this bluetooth bug is not present on 4.2 rom ( i have 2 phones, one 701L and one china 703L ) , but it appear on 4.4 rom ( official or beta ) , and this bug is not present on my galaxy sII on CM10 (4.2 ) , CM11 ( 4.4 ) or CM12 ( 5.0 beta ) .

there are indeed quite a lot of bugs on the 4.4 roms for our X1, pity even with an unlocked bootloader (503L) there aint any 3rd party recovery for it, and with that the ability to have AOSP, CM or AOKP on it.
i have AOSP lollipop on my nearing 4yrs old HP Touchpad, and boy oh boy, it is uber smooth compared to my X1; I believe stock lollipop will fly on it, if that day ever arrive.
for now, i really like the form factor and screen of X1 too much to give it up, not to say its huge battery and (at least for me), flawless radio (LTE and surprisingly wifi once I set it to fixed IP).

I just cannot understand why people are so desperate to move from 4.2, 320 dpi, stable to 4.4 400 dpi and full of bugs. I'll quite happily stay on the stock 4.2 ROM for as long as I have the X1 unless an equally stable 320dpi 4.4 ROM comes out and that's not likely to happen any time soon. It's not as if there's any significant benefit from switching to 4.4.

perhaps because the phone say that an update is available ....
and for mine, no possibility to downgrade ( french 4.2 rom for 501L isn't available on the net )
other raison , once you have tried Emui3 , it was very hard to downgrade to Emui2.0 ....
if you have a 4.2 rom , with french language , 4GLTE for 501L and possibility to have Emui3 , please share the link

I doubt there is a jellybean rom with emui 3.0

Been on 7D-503LV100R002C208B011 for a couple of weeks now. I run the Apex launcher but other than that its all stock.
Its all pretty good, a bit laggy here and a couple of minor apps won't install but my biggest problem is with there phone reception.
I am on Telstra in Australia, (850/2100 MHz 3G 900/1800 MHz 2G) and in lower signal areas in my house where my Samsungs have never had a problem getting voice and data my X1 gives me no signal at all. In other places I get 3+ bars but internet doesn't work.
No issue with WIFI just 3G/2G.
Anyone else having this trouble with B011? Is there a previous rom that performs better? I really need reception at home. Its a shame that Huawei can't seem to get their act together, I sold my Ascend Mate because the GPS was terrible, this time it seems to be the 2G/3G radio.

503L supports the following frequency bands (based on Huawei's official data):
2G - band 2 (1900Mhz) / 3 (1800MHz) / 5 (850MHz) / 8 (900MHz)
3G - band 1 (2100Mhz) / 2 (1900MHz) / 5 (850MHz)
501L supports the same 2G bands as 503L, for 3G, it supports band 8 at 900MHz too.
Looking at the above, you shd have stellar 2G and 3G signal since it supports all bands which Telstra is on (doesn't matter which is in use in your area), you can try locking the phone to either 2G or 3G signal (if possible; eliminate the possibility of instability due to auto switching) and see if the situation improves.
If it doesn't you may want to give the following roms a try (order from earliest to latest excluding what is already on the phone, which is THE latest rom [EMUI 3.0 / 4.4.2 KK / 400DPI with per app DPI setting / B011]):

Users in China find the earlier B009 rom being the most stable and power efficient.
If signal remains bad irregardless which rom your phone is on, then it may just be a case of lemon or radios on the X1 not playing nice with the telstra towers in your area, uncommon but not implausible.
