VikingWay is a simple & fast rom that focuses on keeping the greatest parts of the stock experience and functionality.
Everything that I consider as bloatware or crap is removed and I personally think it gives the rom an nice feeling.
I just don't like the extra crap that is forced upon the user. VikingWay leaves you at a clean base with some "schoolsux touches"!!
This is a rom I make for personal use, I just share it with you guys for fun. If you don't like changes I make or whatever, feel free to use another rom!

I'll give it a go straight away. I currently have the stock v20h with stock kernel...let's see if this new build actually fixes the interactive governor bug. That would already be good to me.
We dont need 5.0.1 or .0.2 the aops changelog is specific for nexus 4,7 and some chromium changes...nothing special...

This rom was meant only for ESA, AME and IL. 99% that it doesn't contain anything new, and is just a special version for these regions, much like 20 b/c is for SEA/HKG.

After doing a little research it looks like A6RE is for the 16 GB version (32 GB version is AARE).
According to OP this thread has A6RE (16GB) but it was tested on a 32GB device.

Wait so you used the regular hellraise package for this? If so there's not a chance this works. I also just tested installing no go as the installer is looking for the GT-I9100 asserts in cwm

Only way for this to work is if you are coming from another hellraised rom. Otherwise the update-script needs to be modified for it to install in CWM

100% correct...I even updated the thread title about 10 minutes ago.
Properly Patched installer: for people coming from a Rom with a build.prop that says SGH-I777.

The flash-aholic installer does not complete the process. On top of that after just getting it to boot, the build.prop still needs to be modified to say SGH-I777 instead of GT-I9100. Also my previously installed rom was a CM nightly
Update 2: New link with patched build.prop also otherwise you would not be able to flash the rom a 2nd time for install

I have flashed this using flashaholic tool prior to this and have flashed other tons afterwards and have had zero problems doing so.

this thing is blazing, i also really like the minimalist theme
Also took an antutu test (even though benchmarks aren't usually my thing) and got 7521with everything set to performance. Around 6511 at my normal settings

yeah thats extremely good scores...I've never used a CM7 based ROM for more than an hour but this one will be on my phone for a while. Paired with GO Launcher its a big winner!

Tried flashing this rom tonight. The modem flashed fine, but I get an error when installing the Rom. "Error: unable to mount 'system'
I was coming from the crdroid ROM, and wiped cache, DC, system and data as advised.

I ran into the same error, however, the rom flashed fine. I think it might have to do with the device being plugged in at the time of flash.
You should see that after the installation is done, it says the installation was successful.

When I go to reboot after the flash tho, a popup warns that no system is installed. I didn't go any further and just restored my backup just to be safe.

This Rom works awesome... Yes you will get an error after install... Ignore it. I have been running this since it's initial post in another thread for about a week no issues....

funny story, I have all the errors fixed. uploaded to mega. deleted the old one. well turns out i deleted the new one and kept the old one

Also you made a joke about missing the clock app is it still missing?
Also is xposed included in this version? I loved that in your other rom.

When you update the rom with xposed and framework, would i be able to dirty flash that over your original stock rooted rom?

So just to make things straight. Flashing this Rom and the baseband allows me to not have to update my kitkat to that of the official lollipop ota right?
Thats correct, be sure to be on the latest recovery, no more OTA. If you want to return to KK be sure to have the KK baseband

Well atm I'm on cm12 with the original stock kitkat. I flashed the lollipop modem that someone posted not too long ago. Do I still need to re download and flash the baseband of I want to flash this Rom?

INSTALLATION :-
Note :- To be on the safer side, update your radio and bootloader to the latest included in the factory images. The flashable zip for latest radio is here
Download Veneno_Rom_MMB29K.zip from the folder. Also download 3minit zip if you want.
Place the zips in your SD card
Boot into Recovery
Wipe Data,Cache,System and Dalvik
Flash Veneno_Rom_MMB29K.zip
Bootup the ROM
Reboot into recovery again
Flash 3minit mod(If you're flashing the paid version, download 3Minit battery Settings(paid version) from Play store)Flashing this is optional.

That's weird cause my data is connected. I never had any problem with data connection. And no other person here reported me about data connection loss.

You're talking about the hidden power menu in Marshmallow? I didn't enable it cause it didn't have reboot option.

bountyman334 from xda and nomorelemonpledge334 from reddit is the same person.
So I would say it is true. His LG-918 (T-Mobile V20) version has a unlocked bootloader.
I hope the V20 won't get the bootloop problem of predecessors because I would have lots of costs with an import, shipping between USA and EU for this T-Mobile US version. I am glad to know that the V20 will get decent Dev support/activity/ROMs.

So I would say it is true. His LG-918 (T-Mobile V20) version has a unlocked bootloader.
I hope the V20 won't get the bootloop problem of predecessors because I would have lots of costs with an import, shipping between USA and EU for this T-Mobile US version. I am glad to know that the V20 will get decent Dev support/activity/ROMs.

LG is also having a US996 Carrier Unlocked model that appears to support all the bands to work with Verizon.
So that may be a better option to unlock the bootloader and attempt to root than the Verizon VS995 model.
Dude if you can't post a Rom even if it's broken dont make a thread. It's in the rules that's why I have posted mine yet.

So, many devs have broken that rule then lol. For instance, on the LG G5 Rom section someone started the Cyanogenmod thread, and it wasnt until they finally released a build (like 5 month after creating the thread) that they actually released the build.

just thur twrp...and remove your lockscreen and after flashing set you lockscreen back
