1. Make sure that you are on stock cm 11-XNPH05Q only. Custom ROMs are not supported.
2. Personally I use philz rec. But twrp should not produce any problem
3. It is tested by myself about 4-5 times. No issue.
4. Try reverting to stock by flashing revert patch.
5. Try the mod again after reverting.
In my case It is working fine, I am using XNPH05Q, Philz Recovery and Thunderzap Kernel.
Akhilendra,i tried by reverting and again flashing the file but the result remains same....
And I'm also using Thunderzap kernel on XNPH05Q..See the attachment...
I used flashify app to flash the zip and it flashed successfully within 1 minute with Philz Recovery. I also selected to wipe cache and dalvik cache. You should also wipe cache nd dalvik cache as I think.

again flash the recent switcher zip
it will work
I tried each and every thing which was suggested by every member but nothing works for my stock rom....
So i gave up on this mode.....
Though I really appreciate developer's hard work for us...........
I flash it in 4 device

Mod works fantastically!!
For info. Im on cwm recovery and using thunderzap kernel (though kernel had nthing to do with it )
not working for me..!!! tried too many times..!!!
im unable to flash this and it just saying ui force closed so reverting back.... i love your mod but its not working for me...i followed all the instructions guided by all the members..!!!!

- if u have a battery draining first full your battery and goto recovery and select wipe battery stats , second use task manager and close runing programs every time you feel its needed

for me its work fine..i hope for you to...) not all is perfekt, then ICS most learn how to run on sgs2 But i have tried 3 day bevor i post here, so i thik you can take it for a dayli Rom.

one is from samsung SGS 2 and the other i have port from samsung Galaxy Nexus!!
you can delet under system;> camera.apk (original) // GoogleNexusCamera.apk (portet)
Any screenshots? Does video and pictures work with Google nexus camera? Battery flat so charging phone can't try it out yet.

GoogleNexusCamera.apk has caused the problems and had to be removed.

What changes have you done to contacts.apk?
Have you used a file from different firmware or did you mod the existing one?

I think you need to change that statement in your description - there's no "official" XXLP6 because Samsung haven't released it.
I'm sure you know this, but noobs could get confused

Yeah, had Pure ICS so no needed to install CM9 build.
( if you are on another ICS ROM, this shouldn't bee needed)

Bootloop fixed: Couldn't flash anything via CWM. I formatted /system, then /data, then /cache and then went to advance and formatted dalvik.
Flashed Pure ICS back and it worked this time.

What is Pure ICS, i don't know. better to do wipe data and format system, then flash my base + I9100 essentials.

same thing should work for Slim, is Pure ICS AOSP based? if so, format/system, wipe data then mine should work, if not flash CM9 then mine.

I didn't format /system, maybe that was the cause of bootloop.
I'll try doing it again after formatting /system and then wipe data. Then will flash your ROM.

Okay, it's working.
I formatted /system this time. Last time I didn't do it and then it took no time to install which left me surprised. This time it took some time for installing but it worked.
Here comes my FAVOURITE .. I'm a good fan of your slim ICS..
I was using this on my GALAXY S and CAPTIVATE... I just loved to use it...

For people finding black dock bar:
You can add applications to it by long hold on the items in the application drawer (which can be I accessed by pressing menu button and clicking applications).
And then to add application grid shortcut, select Add > Shortcuts > Applications grid and then drag it to the dock bar.
The black background can be changed from the dock settings.

thats the Zeam launcher, press soft meu, preferencecs, customize it the way you like it.
Yeah, I was about to complain about it as I had never used Zeam before. I did some setting and search and got through it. Thought to share and avoid other complaints. =P

Installation
1. Backup your current ROM
2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3. Wipe cache partition
4. Advanced > Wipe dalvik cache
5. Install zip from SD card > ViperXperia_Vx.x.zip
6. Follow on screen instructions in AROMA
7. After finished installation untick "Reboot"
8. Install Xperia_Neo_Stock_ICS_404_Modules.zip
9. Select "Reboot" in CWM

can you post the correct way to install it, I tried it 2 times and still bootloop on my neo. What to choose in the wifi module option? My neo is still locked bootloader
This is what I did:
The first time I went to recovery and do factory reset, wipe everything including format system then I flashed v2.0, for module I didn't know what to choose and It was set at rush kernel so I skip it and choose the extra. After it finish installing, I got back to recovery and wipe davik cache one more time then restart and got bootloop at sony logo
The second time I flash 587 firmware again then root and installed recovery, get back to installed the mod this time I tried with stock kernel in the module and did the later step like the first time and still got stuck at sony logo

The WiFi module is for Xperia arc so it's not compatible... Flash the WiFi module of your own kernel after installed the ROM

You can't skip that option.. but you can flash the correct module for your phone right after finished installing the ROM.. use the search function to find the correct WiFi modules for your phone
Third try, I installed it once again then flash the stock wifi modules from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1708532 right after that but still stuck on sony logo, I just don't know what I did wrong yet, sorry...

man i instal this rom but when try to download any app in market it's got error

Fourth try, installed the rom then applied neo patch from Thillinac's pureness rom --> still stuck at sony logo, I guess I have to wait till someone show me a correct steps to make it work on neo then... If someone successfully make it work on locked bootloader neo, please post the instruction.

You made a NAND restore for your data isn't it?
How-To install viper xperia
1- Wipe Data/Factory Reset
2- wipe cache partition
3-Advanced > wipe delvik cache / Wipe Battery Stats
4-Mounts and Storage --> Format /System/data/cache
5-Install zip from SD card > ViperXperia_V2.0.zip
Follow on screen instructions on AROMA.

If you have issues with Play Store, just go to apps and uninstall it's updates (settings > Apps > Download list > Play Store)

Provide a working kernel with it or suggestion. Doesn't work with Lupus one.

Those who are having bootloops should raise their system memory of neo to 420mb. There are many methods, search it.
Just installed the rom on my neo. It's very beautiful and advanced. I think vengeance kernel is best for this rom. Everything seems to work with this kernel. Will most more about battery and performance later. Thanks to jerrytan93 for his awesome work.

1st Attempt:
1 - Install latest nAa-JB-05 kernel
2 - Formatted data/cache/system and wiped everything
3 - Instaled ROM + XMOD + GAPPS
=> After installation, SYSTEMUI FC sometimes!

Found some issue:
1 - Cannot syncronize Contacts
2 - Some issue with sizing (menu did not feet, lockscreen, ...)
3 - Little laggy: Power button to lockscreen take some seconds, system also....

I hope that this ROM has got a perfecet audio (It's all i want from jelly bean)

First Impressions about bug:
1) too many things unnecessary like timescape, infinite view etc. that really slow down the system when boots and this is the cause of lag
2) Uxpnxtlockscreen.apk isn't ldpi and this is the cause for bad resize of home, lockscreen etc
3) about synch of contacts i didn't installed rom yet..i'll let you know
Suggestions:
1) delete unnecessary things like apks, not needed files etc (it would make system faster and smooth)
2) i uploaded you uxpnxtlockscreen.apk resized (the right apk), replace it (i took it from isko's rom so really thanks to him)
3) I still don't see
4) replace your home.apk with this (our resolution)

hi i'm getting bootloop in Shendu v2
i've flashed the boot from the rom using fastboot,
wiped everything,
flashed rom,
wiped everything,
flashed fix and wipe / skipped
reboot
even tried flashing .54 kernel before flashing the boot.
can you help?
I don't know how this happening but you need to follow this step
Download this framework apk put it into zip-->system/framework
then flashROM
flash gapps
Wipe everything and reboot
if your ROm booted properly then apply framework fix : post
Thanks, adding the framework.apk worked, i installed it and applied your fix, but now i can't turn on WIFI, it gets stuck in Wifi turning on, Bluetooth and other radio options work,
maybe it is a carry over of the Wifi Tether bug??
Will attach logcat as soon as possible

Wifi is working for me try reflash and wipe cache and delvick cahe (Don't wipe data - if you want to keep you app) and for google play store i face same problem on even ICS yesterday it took 8 h to update subway surfer i think it google server problem or gapps, reflash gapps.
EDIT: try experimental CM 10 kernel
really cant get the rom working,... first its starts very long and then if its starts then I get back to the boot... help me pls
How is the battery life and ram management on this rom??

Use this framework and boot , but also wifi cant use
so i try experimental CM 10 kernel then wifi work
