Other Info
*Alright guys, after seeing a lot of people post random bugs without providing basic information or logs, I decided to make a simple little write up on some basic rules to the thread.
1. Be courteous to one another & try & be helpful when you can. I can't answer every single question as I'm very busy trying to build the best rom I can make for you guys, so if you know a solution to a problem please answer.
2. If you are using xposed, DO NOT POST BUGS! I have already seen people posting issues only to find out it was due to xposed or one of it's modules.
3. When posting bugs, do so with as much information as possible. We can't help you if you don't give the proper information.*
*****
**** What version or the rom are you on?
**** Clean or dirty install?
**** Mainline or Ultimate kernel?
**** Are you using a theme?
**** If you dirty flashed & have problems, did you try a clean install?
*****
4. If you are having random reboots how about providing a log? These are invaluable as they provide the information to fix a real issue with the rom or to tell me that it is a user error.
5. If you are new to aosp or just don't know much about kernels, it is best to stick with the mainline kernel as it is very stable. No need to mess with the settings either as I have the kernel setup to enjoy out of the box.**

And great I'll wait for v12 before I set all up but really nice ROM always wanted a fully packed cm12 ROM :good:
Thanks again

I push the update tomorrow morning. It's 4 am here. Need to sleep

No need to hurry ... Trying 11.6 and the ultimate kernel

Ok, I checked ,
Its seems that the N910G supports more bands than the N910F
So basically the N910G supports all the bands of the N910F plus some extra bands used in Asia and Australia

Sorry man been too busy with with too start you a thread. Thanks bala!!
Living ultimate edition.
Just one thing there's an issue with head limit and linking all cpu core scaling values when chasing govenors or hotplugging.
This was resolved eventually in AEL kernel by linking CPU0 to the others somehow.
Just thought you might be able to cherry pick this if it's hiding on github

I'm talking about creating another link for his gapps where people don't have to go to his thread to get it.

I deleted it, because OP fixes bugs on the gapps, so im not even going to bother.
we can do that, his specific gapps for our devices is his AFH https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934538470 , I think he updates them every 3 days, he deletes the gapps from his AFH and uploads new gapps every 3 days or so.

Fair enough bud! I am compiling a new Candy5 build now with the file explorer you linked me in my candy thread. I'll find out if it works or not but Not tonight. I'm off for a couple hours of shut eye so HAG1 until then. All of my newer builds will be compiled with the GCC 4.8 toolchain so them gapps may no longer work but they probably will? We shall see.

I hope the file explorer works, but if it doesnt work, it really doesnt matter. Cant wait for new Candy5 build, its really smooth, only problem im having is the keyboard disappearing randomly even if I turned on the hw overlays. Why wont we need the gapps ?, are the gapps build in with the build with GCC4.8 toolchain ?

Ohh lol, Ill download the gapps from basketbuild and see if it works.
Running fine with pico gapps and xposed for lp!
Edit: Keyboard and audiofx work correctly out of box in this lp. Great build. Usual echo on speaker phone as with almost any custom ROM.
Edit2: Also, gyroscope does not function properly, but I have read this is known with pac rom and slim.

Read the OP.. it answers that question
It is aosp based and it has cm theme engine? In future it will have layers and cm theme engine? Both? Do i understand it right? Also what was your compiler? Uber? Also in thread you said that it is based on AOSP and down there is that it is based on cyanogenmod and various other ****z.

Which toolchain is being used any performance and battery improvements?
I've been waiting for this..
Running great!
For anyone that has questions on what it's based on (I know it's in OP, but there is some confusion w/cmte implemented), I got this from their github: "This Rom Actually is based on AOSP , But contain alot of commits from CM and CAF , So I need say this roms is a hybrid rom."

Buddy here are the replies:
1. This rom is not caf based.
2. It is basically aosp based with some things from cm.
3. It has cmte for now. It will be replaced by layers in future.
4. Toolchains used are stock. Optimisation are in built in the rom. Flash it and see the smoothness.
I hope I answered all your querries!

Well well well!
You don't need to flash supersu mate. There is built in root.
You can install supersu from play store if you want to !

Thanx, and what custom kernels can I use with this rom? Thank you
When I try to open the built in kernel tuning program I get an error that there is no busybox installed. Tried installing busybox then the kernel tuning program force closes. Anyone else see this or do I possibly have a bad download?

Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of RRO Themes
What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is RRO?
RRO (Runtime Resource Overlay) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,RRO is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

Dear tusharjain95,
Why AOSP-RRO bootanimation from Android 5 Lollipop but not from Marshmallow?
---------- Post added at 01:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:26 PM ----------
After first attemp to flash AOSP-RRO build I have bootloop.
Is it probably to flash RR-kernel and SuperSU as in case of AOSP-CAF build?
---------- Post added at 02:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:41 PM ----------
Sorry but I can't flash AOSP-RRO build. I have constantly bootloop.
Source code?
What is the double AOSP RRO theme on XDA Forum - http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/official-aosp-rro-t3351601 ?
Has anybody successfully flashed AOSP-RRO-6.0.1-20160404-bacon-tushar.zip?

Iam looking for something which does not offer all other roms. Are there some bonus optimizations like O3, etc? How is rom compiled? What do you use for kernel? Is it caf? Thanx

the rom doesn't need optimisation! Its already pretty smooth. Kernel is CM based. Its a secret kernel sort of actually! Something I and @warmachine28 working for some time now. So don't waste time looking for reviews. Trust me just flash it!
Any chance of implementing CMTE in future??
Layers is just too much work for customization..
Thanks for your efforts..

No more features have been added except some extra layer commits. This ROM is a project made with as much closeness to aosp as possible.

Just the dirfferent is I will add lots more features to it and it also compiled with lots of

Ok I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way and be that guy
us humble vs995 owners sure would love to try this lovely ROM
Regardless, thanks for the work! It's nice to see dev work going on for the v20 even if the H918 gets most the love. Whats with most devs being on T-Mobile anyway?
