Other Info
*Alright guys, after seeing a lot of people post random bugs without providing basic information or logs, I decided to make a simple little write up on some basic rules to the thread.
1. Be courteous to one another & try & be helpful when you can. I can't answer every single question as I'm very busy trying to build the best rom I can make for you guys, so if you know a solution to a problem please answer.
2. If you are using xposed, DO NOT POST BUGS! I have already seen people posting issues only to find out it was due to xposed or one of it's modules.
3. When posting bugs, do so with as much information as possible. We can't help you if you don't give the proper information.*
*****
**** What version or the rom are you on?
**** Clean or dirty install?
**** Mainline or Ultimate kernel?
**** Are you using a theme?
**** If you dirty flashed & have problems, did you try a clean install?
*****
4. If you are having random reboots how about providing a log? These are invaluable as they provide the information to fix a real issue with the rom or to tell me that it is a user error.
5. If you are new to aosp or just don't know much about kernels, it is best to stick with the mainline kernel as it is very stable. No need to mess with the settings either as I have the kernel setup to enjoy out of the box.**

And by the way this is so far a nice ROM
Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Does this contain all the fixes of the other cm beta that's posted in this forum?

this will have the same bugs as cm cause it use the same as cm tree to build this rom.
Just the dirfferent is I will add lots more features to it and it also compiled with lots of
opitmization flags as I state above. Thanks

The other dev already fixed the second screen as far as I know.

Ok I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way and be that guy
us humble vs995 owners sure would love to try this lovely ROM
Regardless, thanks for the work! It's nice to see dev work going on for the v20 even if the H918 gets most the love. Whats with most devs being on T-Mobile anyway?

Unofficial is rooted, with cherry picks multi-window, lock screen notifications, dalvik tweaks, etc and bulletproof kernel to add sweep and tap wake functions
Official builds are stable and pure omni with no cherry picks or additional tweaks.
I am debating shutting down the other threads now that this is up.

So glad I found this thread. Its one of the best Roms I have run on my N7. Only beaten by Clean rom but as the dev has moved on and not developing for the N7 now, this Omni is my daily. Thanks a lot dev :highfive::highfive::highfive:

AOSP kernels don't seem to work, but I haven't tried any CAF kernels.
Ahh yes, so nice to see this here. Huge PAC fan. Ran it constantly on my l900 & even have it on my way retired supersonic. Thanks allot to all who made this possible. Be flashing when theme chooser is working. I mean, at least it didn't work for me when I flashed build earlier today, but I know this will get better & better. Thanks again!

CAF kernels with anykernel installer are working fine (i think bricked is one of those?? i'm not sure if there are other kernels that use the any kernel installer since i'm just rockign the default kernel )

Franco is not a CAF kernel, some have reported it works on CAF roms but you cannot adjust volume and Franco's thread will not support those bugs so its safe to say Franco will not work fully/properly because it is AOSP and not CAF
I thought this rom being Aosp based franco kernel should work , does it not?
Wow! PAC is here, loved it on my original N7. +1 for Slim Recents if its not already included!

Sorry to ask is this a cm12 nightly build with a ton of tweaks ect from other roms ? If so I'm flashing right away

Ok, I checked ,
Its seems that the N910G supports more bands than the N910F
So basically the N910G supports all the bands of the N910F plus some extra bands used in Asia and Australia
Sorry man been too busy with with too start you a thread. Thanks bala!!
Living ultimate edition.
Just one thing there's an issue with head limit and linking all cpu core scaling values when chasing govenors or hotplugging.
This was resolved eventually in AEL kernel by linking CPU0 to the others somehow.
Just thought you might be able to cherry pick this if it's hiding on github

Congrats!
By any chance does the kernel support OTG+fast chsrging? I've used Desolation Rom in the past for a different device but don't recall if it did or not.

This certainly looks interesting! Can you have data/cache F2FS, or will that not work?

Thanks. I did see not F2FS, fwiw...just wasn't sure if that meant not all F2FS or none at all. Didn't want that to come off as a stupid question.

This will never be made for all F2FS. F2fs on system has little to no benefit anyway.

Very nice rom! Some cool extra features, good looking boot animation and I especially like that you chose layers. Just briefly looking around, I found that you can't select "none" or "swipe" (startup default is already swipe) for lockscreen in security settings. I never use a lockscreen, so I would definitely like to be able to disable it.
It appears that those 2 options are "disabled by administrator encryption policy or credential storage", which is what the ghosted out message reads under those selections.
As always, thanks for your work.

We never left. Fell behind on M due to a rebase along with some major backend changes to hardware and software alike. The M release will not be as feature rich as past PAC roms. A decision was made to caress M and turn our focus to N sources to get a head start on a N release going forward. We don't want a repeated delay of a N release in the future. Enjoy!!!!

friend you must specify in the post that we should change our bootloader. I install and gave error 7 and showed that my bootloader is not supported ... What did I do

Actually the OP is an xda template pulled from the vendor/pac/doc repo of pac-6.0 branch. The template is created and edited by the core devs. It is currently in the process of being updated by them.

No. See my comment above. Features are being added back currently. Not all are in the rom yet.
Please keep in mind that pac-6.0.1 is in alpha stage.
This is a quote from lead dev of PAC:
"Atm we're a bit behind on M and N will be out like in 4-5 months. We won't be focusing that much on M. We're still going to work on M but it won't be the same as 5.1 features wise. We rather not put too much time in M."
