this stability update has rectified previous version bugs such as repeated notification etc.....i think samsung has not forgotten us yet & hope their could be future update to atleast say 4.4.4 or 5.01 ....

dude it just takes few minutes to unroot & go back to stock so whats the problem in testing a new version of firmware if its stable we can root the new firmware & use it as a daily driver....

I am not facing any problem like this after the update I suggest to reinstall your firmware & do a factory reset....
24.80 mb update fixed the bugs but no lollipop for grand 2
Guys 24.80 mb update was a clever update by samsung as they were planning for big os upgrade for this device but due to huge number of devices releasing every year, hence they were unable to provide the upgrade and just sorted the bugs with this minor update. Different region uses different firmware versions. Here in US, we only have carrier branded versions and any firmware update will be carrier specific, approved by the carrier. When I got my AT&T Gear S the first day , it updated right away to a new firmware. No more new updates.

I am in the UK, not bound by any carrier, I got a similar sized update on day one. Now on software build R750XXU1BNJA
Some reported to say it fixes a couple of notifications bugs and improved battery life.

My AT&T version latest firmware version is R750AUCU1ANJ7. That was from 11/7, the release day. From the looks of it, you guys are already on newer firmware BNJx. We probably have to wait another couple months or so before we see any new firmware due to extra carrier scrutiny.
I am US on ATT too and have the same firmware version and same first day update and none since, just to confirm
from Italy, my version is R750XXU1BNJ7

I did see the following differences:
- can make screen-shots
- can change (add and delete) the APN for mobile network
- if there is a small border on top of screen you can swipe down and have some options (don't swipe from the top. just from the center down)
I did see some small UI changes. There is maybe more, but I don't have phone paired with the watch
I got my Gear S yesterday, and automatically asked to download this update.
So after receiving update today for my region first thing that i noticed was Close All button!!! This proves one thing that Lolipop released on May 17 was Test build?

Which region firmware you installed? I am on Customized DE and I don't see such button..

It was not a test build. I have German firmware installed on my phone and it's exactly same as March 17 build.
Just on some regions there are close all button, many others "official updates" still no close all button.

Are you serious? This is old news. Existenz rom and Moonwalker rom are based on it. Are you living under a rock? And why did you open a thread about that before checking?

I've had exactly the same Build Number for about nearly a month (since it's out). Yesterday it showed up an Update. Phone had to restart for Installation also. So it Wasn't simply an App Update or something. I just wanted to know, if someone else got this. The Screenshot was just to show, that Build didn't change with this update.
Didn't find anything about this Update like Changelogs etc.

Maybe it is some kind of a bug.
I got this update on my Z2 customized DE too
They just move the number R3C to R4C with some bug fixes as they said

It seems this new update was an improved version since the first lollipop released, tried updating my G850L and the battery looks improved too
We just need a way to update g850a at& t, we got a 4.4.4 stock rom, but we would like the 5.0.2 stock rom for the g850a
just updated to this new firmware and did a complete reset after update.
seems to be quick & responsive compared to the old lollipop versions. will see if battery also improved.

Thanks, I managed to force it through. I couldn't do it through recovery since MIUI recovery 5.0 doesn't have update option. So I did it through updater - choosing an installation package
I'm in the the UK and the update is waiting for me. Not too bothered about it tho as it's MIUI and that means for every bug fix means at least 2 new bugs.

I know what do you mean, I had same doubts. But it actually solved a lot of issues for me with images and messenger bubbles for example
