Yep, I'm on AT&T and my Galaxy Alpha got a security update today. Android version is still 5.0.2.
Kernel version = 3.4.0-4486597,

Build number LRX22G.G850AUCU1BOC7.

Didn't feel any improvements.

It is just a security patch for 'Stagefright' issue. Very small update.

can anyone confirm that there are no performance & battery improvements?

It seems this new update was an improved version since the first lollipop released, tried updating my G850L and the battery looks improved too

We just need a way to update g850a at& t, we got a 4.4.4 stock rom, but we would like the 5.0.2 stock rom for the g850a

just updated to this new firmware and did a complete reset after update.
seems to be quick & responsive compared to the old lollipop versions. will see if battery also improved.

Which model? Just need an update for g850a and do anyone know how can I get update my alpha AT&T without using ota

850L i only updated via Kies. Alternatively you can obtain via Sammobile and flash using odin

you can download directly from samsung servers using this tool : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647

As we all know that the ICS update on the 10th of March, will I be able to update OTA update with this current baseband? It bcame LPH after flashing litening rom then reverted back to previous rom using rom manager however the baseband remained LPH. For OTA/KIES update to work, do i need to flash stock rom first?

Can anyone help me ?
Bit of patience might help. Bumping your thread an hour after you asked your initial question isn't likely to endear you to anyone here
Yes. If you want to get ICS via Kies, you'll need to go back to stock.
Updating through KIES if you are a power user isn't so good to be honest. For example, KIES force you to use the original ROMs baseband version if you want to receive firmware updates (also correct CSC and so on). Newest baseband doesn't always means the best one. I have compared XXKI4 to XXLPH and surely I've got better battery life-performance balance in KI4 So i can recommend you using Mobile Odin/Odin for flashing .. more flexibility to be honest
Baseband is not relevant .
Custom kernel is .
Kies updates those phones that have original firmware codes anything else and its a maybe.
OTA no rollout on that so far but supposed to be working for ICS .

24.80 mb update fixed the bugs but no lollipop for grand 2
Guys 24.80 mb update was a clever update by samsung as they were planning for big os upgrade for this device but due to huge number of devices releasing every year, hence they were unable to provide the upgrade and just sorted the bugs with this minor update. You may say its the last grand 2 update. Here is the source website:https://www.justaboutphones.com/samsung-galaxy-grand-2-grand-prime-mega-2-lollipop-update-cancelled/

Are you serious? This is old news. Existenz rom and Moonwalker rom are based on it. Are you living under a rock? And why did you open a thread about that before checking?

I've had exactly the same Build Number for about nearly a month (since it's out). Yesterday it showed up an Update. Phone had to restart for Installation also. So it Wasn't simply an App Update or something. I just wanted to know, if someone else got this. The Screenshot was just to show, that Build didn't change with this update.
Didn't find anything about this Update like Changelogs etc.

One UI 1 Beta version, how to go to the full version of Android 9

Hello!
I'm currently on the Beta version of Android 9 One UI 1. however in my country (The Netherlands) the full version released but somehow I didn't get the update over air.
Everytime I press Software update, it says:
''The latest update has already been installed
Current version G965FXXU2ZRKA/G9665FOXM2ZRK9/G965FXXU2ZRK9''
How can I install the full version without losing all my data again?
Hello
The release for the U1 version did not come out yet firstly, secondly you already have the first bet and there were 4 and 1 fixes, and when the release for odin comes out, you can flash the home file in csc and the data will not be deleted, but then there may be problems.

I'm sorry, I didn’t understand correctly when you wrote U1, because there is a g965u1 device, for exynos smartphones yes, it is really updated, download samfirm, write G965F and your region and it will find and download the firmware for odin

You have written too few details.
If your device is refurbished (bought from unofficial distribution), then even through Odin you may have a problem with flashing.
Check PhoneINFO 3.8.5 to see what you have on your device.

This unit has the initial firmware version and requires a gradual upgrade from BIT 2, BIT 3, to BIT 4.
After these updates using Odin, the device should see an update in the classic way.

hello thanks for your answer, i installed the last update with odin and now android 12 is on the tablet but it gets stuck on the loading screen tablet is starting, my question can i still flash the old updates with odin or how should i now Action?
I wrote you to install in order, without skipping. Did you do that? You can't flash an older firmware version than from the BIT with which you installed the last firmware.
Try clearing the cache in recovery mode. Do not reset to factory settings for now.
