I am just wondering - can we make it a bit simpler and skip unlocking bootloader?
e.g. I can download twrp from google play, from this installed twrp I can choose reboot to recovery and I can see twrp 2.8.1.0
Why can't I just from this point flash CM12.1? May it cause any problems?

Sorry for lately respond! These instructions are the way we have tested this process and we have stated that it is the most effective way to install everything and be sure everything works as they should. If you have allready unlocked the bootloader, you dosen´t have to do it again, but be sure that it is unlocked. And if you are in 4.2.2., then I recommend to flash 4.4.2 first, for the partition table and then 5.1.
About TWRP, our recovery is compiled from cm12.1 (lollipop) source and we are sure that it is compatible with our rom. Ofcourse you can try any other recovery, but this is the recommended method. And you're doing it at your own risk, as all custom flashes.

great work and thumbs up for supporting the K910! I installed the latest build (RC16) just a few hours ago and noticed immediately in the car, that no music metadata is being transmitted to my car radio. Is AVRCP currently not supported? It worked with the official KitKat ROM at least.
Edit: Never mind - I reflashed the whole thing and it works now.
AFAIK AVRCP up to v1.5 is supported, but I don't have equipment to test meta data stuff atm.
Even though you said it's working now, I double checked BT config and there were still some old stuff lying around from CM11
I'll bring BT config up to date in next build.

I've benn running this ROM for a while but I have problem with loud speaker. I thought, that it's some HW problem with my phone (like stugged some dust in that small holes on the back site of phone) but I cleaned it up few days ago and loud speaker volome is still very very low (like I barely hear when my phone in my pocket ringing in public). But if I make some camera record and uploud it on YouTUBE (or simply play it on my laptop) than sound volume seems to be fine.
Do you have any solution for that? Because I found some solution for CM but for another phones.

i was using Mokee 4.4.4 and since a few weeks I'm using Mokee 5.0.2
It is a rom like CM12 but with some customization, not as many as AOKP but still more than in CM12
It is multilangual and as stable as cm12

I'm using the previous version (1st march) and I used it daily
i don't use 2 sim cards.
I had 1 reboot (not a wished, it was because of a crash) in nearly one month

The previous version dual SIM worked very well. I'll know if the dual SIM will work well for the new version later this week as I will be travelling.
Yes I'm using it for a daily work phone as I rely on it. Thou I have my ultra-stable iPhone 6 as my personal phone/backup :victory:

I think I get more spontaneous reboots with this new version than with the last version. However, it could be due to the memory leak issue all Android Lollipop phones have and isn't fixed until 5.1
Hoping to see Mokee 5.02 upgrade soon to 5.1 and integrate native dual SIM support...

This has been confirmed in several posts on some of the Chinese bbs. Apparently, someone has released a temporary fix; although, I haven't tried it yet. I agree, I'm having the same problem. Additionally, it vibrates for everything. I currently have it set to vibrate only on phone and SMS, yet it does for everything and I cannot find out how to make it stop.

I didn't noticed this kind of error
but I admit this is because of my config => my phone does not vibrate and it is my xiaomi MiBand who vibrate for specific notifications
does anybody have a custom recovery that works with android 5.0 on z7 mini.
I have stock 5.0 installed and wanted to flash the newest mokee. but when i want to make a backup through the old mokee cwm, but it always says "cant mount data".I would thing thats because of the changed partitions.
Anyway, is there any (non-chinese) recovery that i can use with stock 5.0?

Here in the z7 mini rom thread on post 781 (top) is a link to TWRP 2.8.5.0. However, I don't know if the new mokee works after flashing the nubia version of 5.0 because I don't think (someone can correct me) the mokee uses unified storage yet. Can someone verify this?

I did not tried it right now as i'm still discoverng this android 5 by nubia...
i just tried it 1 min and can already say that I may switch to mokee soon (I'll try the nubia rom 1 week I guess..)
the UI feels slow
I don't like the nubia theme
and beside of that, the French translation f(cuoco92 rom) is partial and canadian only (other timezone, other clock format, other keyboard layout...)
nubia's rom seems more unstable than mokee (from the first comments I read on cuoco92 facebook page)
it is also very BIG (double the size...)
If you are afraid of bricking the phone, you can also use the stupid chinese tool to install again kitkat on the phone, then install again mokee
but i guess (not sure !!!! ) that it should be possible to install mokee without doing this pain in the ass trick :/

No, you cannot. See this thread on the Nubia forum. CM12 and Mokee are still technically considered 4.4 because they do not use the unified storage. You will most likely brick the phone if you attempt to flash it. You have to first use the Nubia updater to go back to at least 1.82, then you can use CM12 or Mokee.

I am Pleased to announce that MM 6.0.1 based RR Rom (popularly know as RR) is now available for our InnJoo i2.
The Developer recently released an updated version based on CM-13 for MT6592. I have ported it for our i2.
The ROM has been tested extensively and almost everything is working fine including GPS, Camera, USSD, Apps, Heavy Games etc.

Instructions :-
1. Please use only Philz or TWRP recovery, havnt checked on CWM
2. Please have a full nandroid backup of your current rom before you flash
3. Copy ROM & GAAPs on SD Card
4. Please ensure you are doing a clean install of the rom. Check advance wipe/Erase all, except SD card
5. After install the ROM,flash GAAPS and then let the ROM boot up.
6. Let the ROM boot up, it will take 6-8 minutes. Once it boots up you will see optimizing apps screen notification.
7. After boot up, set the device and SD card (in MM Roms, you need to check approve access for SD card)

here in RSA its labelled innoo fire, but outside it seems identical to i2S
is it safe to flash this Rom? have you tried this before?

I cannot say it surely coz innjoo is selling fire devices in middle east as well
If u wanna try it, use the recoveries available for i2 (twrp & philz)
If the device boots up then you are good to go
Remember that all ur data will be lost when u wipe ur device to flash any new rom and wrong roms or recoveries may result in dead devices
Only way out will to to flash the stock rom using SP Flash tool (if it's a soft brick)
You are doing all this at your own risk

Hasn't been tested in i2s, technically it should work but please make a backup of ur existing ROM before u flash as some users has trouble with other i2 custom ROMs on i2s

The Chipset is different in your device (MT6582 - Quadcore) than the one in i2 (MT6592 - Octacore)
I2 has only 1GB RAm, ur device has 2GB
i2 has HD screen (720p) urs is lower resolution
so there is a big chance this will not work
I don't have that device so can port it either

If u mean u can flash it on i2s, u can if u have a twrp or Philz recovery working for ur device
I would recommended to backup ur current ROM using the backup feature of these recoveries and then flash

I have a K6 (without Power/Note) K33a48_DS and also received the K33_S227_170801_ROW update. Android 7.0 Patch Level 1st July 2017.

Well idk its just security patch or bug fixing update but bloat app resinstallion automatically is gone .i have bought device 4 days back.so cant tell goods bads so early but no mic issue i faced .Yes volume in call nd video recording is little low compared to other device but its tolerable.
No Hanging Or heating issue i faced .Just little lags still ther but not like it was when i first updated Nougat.It took 2:30 hr Charge time for 0 to 100% nd 9-11hr SOT i got in my usage.
*** To my surprise "Vilte" worked Video call over data i mean i turn off data nd tried to video call my friend who own RN4 nd it worked." Plz confirm others too abt this feature.
Network issue still ther i mean data freezes sometimes but turn om turm off process solve it instantly.Overall i will say update has fixed something but its my assumption as i owm device from just 3 days nd from first day i got 10/6/2017 build nougat update nd then manually updated to 1/8/2017 by these Awesome Devs help.

I have a problem in my k6 that the brightness when it is set at the maximum when I play games 1 minute it goes down alone but it is not set to automatic it seems that it is temperature. would any solution to the brightness not vary when set to maximum in stock rom ?

Yesterday I flashed the Nougat firmware version - S223 on my bootloader locked and non-rooted K6 Power and got update S229. It's almost like S227.. security patch 1st July, reset apps on reboot bug resolved and little bit improvement in performance. nothing else.
any way to port other stock rom can run in our lenovo like asus as example

Today i decided to change the rom. So i tried to boot to twrp and that's where i faced the first issue. I cannot get into twrp . When i press all the keys it takes me to fastboot mode. Few days ago i removed supersu completely so the twrp got removed. But later i tried to reinstall it. It successfully got installed so left it and rebooted my phone and it worked fine. Today i tried to get into twrp but it went into fastboot mode so again i installed twrp and tried to install resurruction remix version 5.8.5 and it shows me updater process ended with error 255 .So i installed 64bit twrp then i tried to install the same rom but again came the same error. So i tried to install resurrection remix version 5.8.3 and a new error 7 and it shows this package is for karate and this device is k33a48 but i damn sure my device is k33a42. plzz help .also i cannot switch off my device.

2 months ago i've had allmost the same issues on my K6 Note ,i think the problem is with the TWRP recovery ,that you have,download the latest twrp for karate fom the official twrp site,i think is 3.1.1 ,for the error code 7 ,there is no problem with your phone,the problem is with the custom rom,you will have to unzip the rom,open one file with notepad and delete some of the first columns.You can find video tutorials about error code 7 in the web,it is very easy to fix.I hope I've helped.The problem with turning off the phone comes from the recovery,because she patches the boot.img . After reinstalling with the right recovery,you won't have any problems switching off the phone

The last update causes touch lag issues on this unit of lenovo k6 power. it's nothing like it was just moment ago before on the previous 2 updates. I haven't touched anything else on this device. does anyone noticed this with last OTA update which is on November 1, 2017 patch?

If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.

3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware and Magisk

How are you friend Valera! ?? First of all I appreciate this new port of samsung oreo. It is much better than the previous one due to the fact that it is from tablet to tablet. I installed it 2 hours ago and everything is wonderful, I'm probably my daily driver from now on. I will comment on bugs that I have found, some already mentioned in the OP. Camera does not work
- processing error when starting samsung account session
- blue filter
- gps seems to work
- I have a book cover and the screen does not turn on or off with the magnet
this is all for the moment, while I will continue watching a series in netflix with chromecast that works well in this rom, also the smart view. Thank you! It is a huge job!

Also I added small patch - I had remove encrypt data\sdcard, it's really annoying for me - I need backup\restore firmware, because I often back to los 15\16 and then back to port.

Yes, kernel the same, as for port before.
I'll check cover, may be not today, havn't time at all right now, on weekend I'm sure will be a version.

Today there was a new stock 8.1 firmware for the P580 (same as our but with s-pen). This is our related tablet with same hardware. As result now we have ideal fully worked port. Right now for T580 only, soon I'll finish it for T585.
This is good, and I hope soon we will get original stock firmware too.
Another great news... btw spen futures can be removed? Because it is unuseful for T585.
On Sammobile you can download original 8.1 FW for p580, p585.

I am struggling to get the ROM working on my p580. With Odin it works but when I make a flash able zip with superr kitchen it stuck at the boot screen. Also the twrp isn't working. How do you got your twrp working on Oreo ?

It's getting exciting!!
Of course, rom flashed on my tab T580, this version of the P580 works great, I did not find a single error. Thank you very much for this great work.
It is very fast, there is more ram available with respect to nougat, I really love it, new daily driver!

Booting stock ROM seems to work. However, flashing Gapps package 9.0 gives error saying the ROM is SDK23 (or Android 6.0).

Thanks. I was not sure since OEM is still 9 and Gapps 10 was not yet available for download on official website. Tried from Cyanogen website Gapps 10 (full, pico) but 'Android Setup keeps stopping'. Tried from XDA BiTGApps, does not have Android Setup and works.
Will keep you posted here on how ROM behaves.

So I tested the rom for some time now.
It indeed restarts at some random moments just idling laying on the desk. Do not yet have an understanding why this is. However it is not that often that it is annoying.
Magisk works perfectly.
BitGApps does also work.
A lot of notifications saying app versions are not made for Android 10, try to update while having latest installed. Guess this is a Android 10 issue?
Netflix does not seem to work keeps giving connection error (9).
At startup the notification always pops up saying there is a problem with the android system.
Sometimes text in apps or launcher vanishes until restart.

Are there any near future plans for updates to make this ROM more stable? Or can I provide error logs to contribute?
The rebooting is getting worse and more annoying. I'm in doubt to get back to old ROM.

2. fastboot flash oem vendor.img
3. fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. fastboot flash system <GSI Image>
