K6 / k6 power comes up with stock Marshmallow build (s150) which is being updated to s156 marshmallow buiild. It has stock s222 & s223 Nougat stock build which is being updated to s227.

I'm on stock Nougat, version S223. Not rooted nor unlocked. And I have not received the S227 OTA update till now. Which K6 model you are using?

I have a K6 (without Power/Note) K33a48_DS and also received the K33_S227_170801_ROW update. Android 7.0 Patch Level 1st July 2017.

S227 will work in all varients of karate/k33xx

Well idk its just security patch or bug fixing update but bloat app resinstallion automatically is gone .i have bought device 4 days back.so cant tell goods bads so early but no mic issue i faced .Yes volume in call nd video recording is little low compared to other device but its tolerable.
No Hanging Or heating issue i faced .Just little lags still ther but not like it was when i first updated Nougat.It took 2:30 hr Charge time for 0 to 100% nd 9-11hr SOT i got in my usage.
*** To my surprise "Vilte" worked Video call over data i mean i turn off data nd tried to video call my friend who own RN4 nd it worked." Plz confirm others too abt this feature.
Network issue still ther i mean data freezes sometimes but turn om turm off process solve it instantly.Overall i will say update has fixed something but its my assumption as i owm device from just 3 days nd from first day i got 10/6/2017 build nougat update nd then manually updated to 1/8/2017 by these Awesome Devs help.

I have a problem in my k6 that the brightness when it is set at the maximum when I play games 1 minute it goes down alone but it is not set to automatic it seems that it is temperature. would any solution to the brightness not vary when set to maximum in stock rom ?

Yesterday I flashed the Nougat firmware version - S223 on my bootloader locked and non-rooted K6 Power and got update S229. It's almost like S227.. security patch 1st July, reset apps on reboot bug resolved and little bit improvement in performance. nothing else.
any way to port other stock rom can run in our lenovo like asus as example
i am in stock rom , my second sim is not working and the headphone volume is too low. this happened when i reverted back from custom rom

Today i decided to change the rom. So i tried to boot to twrp and that's where i faced the first issue. I cannot get into twrp . When i press all the keys it takes me to fastboot mode. Few days ago i removed supersu completely so the twrp got removed. But later i tried to reinstall it. It successfully got installed so left it and rebooted my phone and it worked fine. Today i tried to get into twrp but it went into fastboot mode so again i installed twrp and tried to install resurruction remix version 5.8.5 and it shows me updater process ended with error 255 .So i installed 64bit twrp then i tried to install the same rom but again came the same error. So i tried to install resurrection remix version 5.8.3 and a new error 7 and it shows this package is for karate and this device is k33a48 but i damn sure my device is k33a42. plzz help .also i cannot switch off my device.

2 months ago i've had allmost the same issues on my K6 Note ,i think the problem is with the TWRP recovery ,that you have,download the latest twrp for karate fom the official twrp site,i think is 3.1.1 ,for the error code 7 ,there is no problem with your phone,the problem is with the custom rom,you will have to unzip the rom,open one file with notepad and delete some of the first columns.You can find video tutorials about error code 7 in the web,it is very easy to fix.I hope I've helped.The problem with turning off the phone comes from the recovery,because she patches the boot.img . After reinstalling with the right recovery,you won't have any problems switching off the phone

I suppose this is the latest stable stock build ppl should be on before flashing custom ROM?
The last update causes touch lag issues on this unit of lenovo k6 power. it's nothing like it was just moment ago before on the previous 2 updates. I haven't touched anything else on this device. does anyone noticed this with last OTA update which is on November 1, 2017 patch?

i was using Mokee 4.4.4 and since a few weeks I'm using Mokee 5.0.2
It is a rom like CM12 but with some customization, not as many as AOKP but still more than in CM12
It is multilangual and as stable as cm12

I'm using the previous version (1st march) and I used it daily
i don't use 2 sim cards.
I had 1 reboot (not a wished, it was because of a crash) in nearly one month

The previous version dual SIM worked very well. I'll know if the dual SIM will work well for the new version later this week as I will be travelling.
Yes I'm using it for a daily work phone as I rely on it. Thou I have my ultra-stable iPhone 6 as my personal phone/backup :victory:

I think I get more spontaneous reboots with this new version than with the last version. However, it could be due to the memory leak issue all Android Lollipop phones have and isn't fixed until 5.1
Hoping to see Mokee 5.02 upgrade soon to 5.1 and integrate native dual SIM support...

This has been confirmed in several posts on some of the Chinese bbs. Apparently, someone has released a temporary fix; although, I haven't tried it yet. I agree, I'm having the same problem. Additionally, it vibrates for everything. I currently have it set to vibrate only on phone and SMS, yet it does for everything and I cannot find out how to make it stop.

I didn't noticed this kind of error
but I admit this is because of my config => my phone does not vibrate and it is my xiaomi MiBand who vibrate for specific notifications
does anybody have a custom recovery that works with android 5.0 on z7 mini.
I have stock 5.0 installed and wanted to flash the newest mokee. but when i want to make a backup through the old mokee cwm, but it always says "cant mount data".I would thing thats because of the changed partitions.
Anyway, is there any (non-chinese) recovery that i can use with stock 5.0?

Here in the z7 mini rom thread on post 781 (top) is a link to TWRP 2.8.5.0. However, I don't know if the new mokee works after flashing the nubia version of 5.0 because I don't think (someone can correct me) the mokee uses unified storage yet. Can someone verify this?

I did not tried it right now as i'm still discoverng this android 5 by nubia...
i just tried it 1 min and can already say that I may switch to mokee soon (I'll try the nubia rom 1 week I guess..)
the UI feels slow
I don't like the nubia theme
and beside of that, the French translation f(cuoco92 rom) is partial and canadian only (other timezone, other clock format, other keyboard layout...)
nubia's rom seems more unstable than mokee (from the first comments I read on cuoco92 facebook page)
it is also very BIG (double the size...)
If you are afraid of bricking the phone, you can also use the stupid chinese tool to install again kitkat on the phone, then install again mokee
but i guess (not sure !!!! ) that it should be possible to install mokee without doing this pain in the ass trick :/

No, you cannot. See this thread on the Nubia forum. CM12 and Mokee are still technically considered 4.4 because they do not use the unified storage. You will most likely brick the phone if you attempt to flash it. You have to first use the Nubia updater to go back to at least 1.82, then you can use CM12 or Mokee.

e.g. I can download twrp from google play, from this installed twrp I can choose reboot to recovery and I can see twrp 2.8.1.0
Why can't I just from this point flash CM12.1? May it cause any problems?

Sorry for lately respond! These instructions are the way we have tested this process and we have stated that it is the most effective way to install everything and be sure everything works as they should. If you have allready unlocked the bootloader, you dosen´t have to do it again, but be sure that it is unlocked. And if you are in 4.2.2., then I recommend to flash 4.4.2 first, for the partition table and then 5.1.
About TWRP, our recovery is compiled from cm12.1 (lollipop) source and we are sure that it is compatible with our rom. Ofcourse you can try any other recovery, but this is the recommended method. And you're doing it at your own risk, as all custom flashes.

great work and thumbs up for supporting the K910! I installed the latest build (RC16) just a few hours ago and noticed immediately in the car, that no music metadata is being transmitted to my car radio. Is AVRCP currently not supported? It worked with the official KitKat ROM at least.
Edit: Never mind - I reflashed the whole thing and it works now.
AFAIK AVRCP up to v1.5 is supported, but I don't have equipment to test meta data stuff atm.
Even though you said it's working now, I double checked BT config and there were still some old stuff lying around from CM11
I'll bring BT config up to date in next build.

except in blutooth headset the sound in call is ok in sim1 BUT sim2 no call sound in headset at all , tried using single sim mode sim2 no sound ..

I've benn running this ROM for a while but I have problem with loud speaker. I thought, that it's some HW problem with my phone (like stugged some dust in that small holes on the back site of phone) but I cleaned it up few days ago and loud speaker volome is still very very low (like I barely hear when my phone in my pocket ringing in public). But if I make some camera record and uploud it on YouTUBE (or simply play it on my laptop) than sound volume seems to be fine.
Do you have any solution for that? Because I found some solution for CM but for another phones.

Since I rooted my Phone, have TWRP in Mobile, or whatever the issue, the above update is downloaded but I couldn't install it. Anyone can help me with installing this update and guide me with the complete process please?
Can someone help me understand what is the difference between these two models? k33a42 and k33a48?
I can see the one available in India is k33a42 and Lenovo India website and FLipkart both don't mention the presence of Compass sensor / Magnetometer in it but GSMArema says this phone has compass sensor.
Can someone plz confirm if k33a42 has compass sensor?
Also, I saw some youtubers claiming a new update of 76mb was released on 21st Sep. Does it fixes any of the bugs?

First you can install stock recovery. Then you can eligible for install Security patch update ( 76 MB update). Or download and flash it manually if it's work.
I use to use my honor 5x l22 on RR (5.8.5).
Lately after a member in the forum said CM13 has better performance& battery backup, i flashed CM13 expecting lot.
It seems now i want to get back to RR.
But when i wiped and flashed RR, TWRP got stuck on ""PATCHING SYSTEM IMAGE UNCONDITIONALLY"
I restored the backup i earlier had on EMUI (B 320).
Now i tried again the same problem persists.
I searched here as well googled. But i could understand nothing (It was something related storage format issue f2fs or something lke that).
Edit (Update) : I flashed Flyme 6 which works on Android 6. So Marshmallow ROMs work good. Problem is with Nougat ROMs

You may need to update TWRP, I know sometimes you require new version for Nougat on some phones

I had a similar problem so I went ahead and flashed the newer Twrp updating mine from v3.0.00, then my problems started. I ended up reflashing back to it after the update screwed my phone. I run nougat roms on ,3.0.00 no problem guess I will leave well enough alone on my L24.
hey guys kindly help as the touch of my phone is not working after i updated to the pie os. now that i can't also downgrade to any official rom, as the binary is 8. when i use every other combination file provided on all of the internet i get back to 7.0 which i dont want to that is also not volte supported. what can i do now , i desperately want 9.0 or get back to 8.0.
i tried to install twrp which officially is not available for my phone when i try xda models the twrp becomes mirrored and everything on the screen comes flipped. plese help.
