Thanks man! I've been waiting for a PA build for the G Pad for months!

Can you provide a list of features please? Thanks in advance.

It's pretty much standard aosp right now. But more features will be added over time.

I have removed download link for now. The maintainer of AOSPA-L doesn't like unofficial build right now. He isn't done with the bring up. I will continue when he gives a OK to build it.

Download link is back. I have also uploaded a new build that I compiled today. It's updated to 5.1.1. Not much features have been added. But if you look at github, you can see that there is a lot happening. Download link in first post. Enjoy!

Nightlies have started for a couple of other devices. So I think it's ready.

New build is up. Download link in first post. Enjoy!

@slebit why don't you continue Validus it be more interesting.

the Alpha tag could give some cold feet but it probably test your build soon Slebit (I really enjoyed your lasts roms)
small question, are your rom "bump-compliant?"

No, it's not. I have seen other ROM:s being bumped... But I just haven't had time to research. But maybe next build will have it.

Thanks. But I have actually already added these commits to my device tree. But I haven't had time to test them out yet.

New build is up. This build is bumped, which means that we now does not have to use loki anymore. You should use this recovery if you want to get rid of the nasty boot up error: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-pad-83/orig-development/recovery-twrp-2-8-6-0-loki-t3074758
Alpha tag is also gone and cm theme engine is back again. Some other features and fixes included. Download link are also in first post. Enjoy!

I have uploaded a new build today. Enjoy!

- MSIM: Ability to hide empty sim card notifications
- Sound: connect/disconnect notification support (with ability to specify tone)
- Add option to disable search bar on recents
- Heads Up snooze (swipe up on a heads up notification initiates this)

- Misc Bug Fixes
- Language translations (Thank you to our great Translators!)

Ohhh interesting.
Awesome. Glad to see more ROMs.
Oh yes...
This is the rom I was waiting for... Thank you for the build.
So I guess the phone app crashes are solved.
Do you already have the checkin regarding the disk encryption metadata, or did you build before that?
Well it's 3:20am where I live so I guess I will sleep first, but I already know what I will be doing when I wake up.
I loved this ROM on Nexus 5.

Woot woot! AOKP has always been my favorite. I have to download this one right away! Subscribed for life!
Need some feedback guys (things working, not working, things missing...)
I know it's very early and I'm sure those things will come eventually, but the biggest problem I had with it was, that there were no device specific options.
No way to turn of the capacitive buttons completely, when using onscreen buttons.
I think no dt2w option aswell and a few others.
But besides the already mentioned phone app crashing bug and a few device specific things missing it was as great as aokp always is.

Ah, I may hold off until that gets implemented then, as that is one of the special features of this phone that I love the most. I love all of the device specific tricks it does.

I did some research. Looking at the fstab.shamu file in their github force encryption has been disabled.
https://github.com/PureMarshmallow/android_device_moto_shamu/blob/mm6.0/fstab.shamu
I think where is says
wait,check,formattable,encryptable shows its been disabled...
If it says
wait,check,formattable,forceencrypt you have to worry...

With tests, download the ROM and report all the bugs, if any, or that it has no bugs. And if various users say that it has no bugs, I will apply for official maintainership. With translations, PM me and I pass you all the strings to translate and when you send them back I upload them to Gerrit. Or if you want, you can upload them.

It has legacy support. And in the next build (probably coming tomorrow) it will have OMS and rootless support. Stay tuned!

Could you specify a bit more? (Present in other ROM's, random bug or always happens and all you think that could help). And please also post the overall experience, not only the bugs.
And never mind. Two different cables that the phone doesn't like apparently but works with the tablet. Go figure :|

Please specify a bit more. Does this happens with other ROM's? It started as soon as you installed it? And please also report the overall performance
I think found 3 bugs.
1- When you block your phone number at the top of the top shows the name of your network, right? After blocked and click the power button to view hour or unlock your phone instead of showing the signal name is just show "no service", this may be a bug, operator is normal.
2- When you take a screenshot it takes a few seconds to be "loaded" you have to wait about 1 minute to share.
3- When you take a new picture or save any image (from facebook for example) it is necessary to restart your phone to update the gallery.
I hope you understand, other than that, I'm liking a lot of the ROM.

Well, @m_vaisakh is on a year long hiatus, so I doubt he'll be able to continue, but why don't you take a shot at building? It's rather easy, and we can all help ya out. You should consider joining the Cedric telegram group too, here's the link https://t.me/joinchat/FmglX0SA7yShdonbh2yDYQ

Guys who make roms aren't called devs really, but maybe you could call me one since I developed PolyOS. And it's never too late to compile your first rom
(PS: The guys who compile roms are called builders)
