Little sticker under the band - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What's on the little sticker that looks like it is in a sim slot. And how do you pull the thing out. If I pull it out will it go back in. Thanks

That sticker shows the IMEI number of the phone, nothing interesting. If you go to repair or something they'll need it so don't broke it [emoji6]

Broken Signal G1!

Hey well for open my phone up to fix the problem i have with my screen connection, i accidently screw on top of the wire in the G1. So now it not really broken, everything working fine except it doesnt get any signal at all.
I just wanna ask what the option i have now :
- Call tmobile, "make-up" some excuses to exchange another phone? (i dont have the insurance)
- Buy the wire that i cut to fix the phone (http://www.cellphone-repair-shop.com/50H00441-05M-A.htm)(well is this wedsite trustworthy?)
- Any other options that i can try?
Please help me!!!!
Here is the link to what i did : http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f28/the-wildest-g1-d-13492/
on top of one of the screws on the phone there is a sticker that says void. if you forgot to remove that sicker from the screw before you opened her up then you might be out of luck. i take the stickers off with a, exacto knife and place it back on there the same way. once that sticker is broken you are out of warranty and you will have to find another way to get the phone working

Battery connector snapped off.

Ok when you remove the battery there are 3 connectors there. If you put your phone face down the left hand side one has snapped off.
What does it do, can it be fixed? Any one knows a place around London that can do it?
Call t-mobile for a replacement. I've never heard of anyone fixing the pin them self.
I got this phone second hand, it was t-mobile branded but I am not with t-mobile so no go there.
I need HTC repair centre of a sort.

[Q] CLNR Thunderbolt Serial Mismatch

I'm on my third CLNR Thunderbolt (first one wouldn't hold a data signal other than 1x and the second one had a non working microphone). I was just poking around in the settings menu and I noticed something funny.
The serial number reported by Settings -> About Phone -> Phone Identity and the serial number printed on the sticker under the battery don't match. The one the phone is reporting starts with "MB" while the one under the sticker starts with "HT". The numbers afterward are completely different too.
The phone seems to work fine but differing serial numbers seems a bit fishy to me. Does anyone know a reasonable explanation for this?
Additionally the MEID the phone is self reporting and the IMEI number on the sticker in the battery compartment match with the exception of a trailing digit in the IMEI.
Don't know what that information is worth, but I thought it might spur some thought as to how I ended up with mis-matched serial numbers.
Just throwing thoughts around.
Could it be that they chopped up several thunderbolts and gave you a FrankenBolt? They could have just switched a fried motherboard and forgot to change the sticker.

Bricked phone, need pictures off of it.

I need to get the pictures off my phone, its 100% bricked. I took it into Sprint and they couldn't fix it. I can't turn it on, can't get into recovery, absolutely nothing. Please help!
Anyone?

Im sorry but i think you're SOL, if the phone is in an unbootable state then there is no way of getting your pictures off it, just a friendly word of advice, either have all pictures save to the Micro SD or back it up (auto upload) using Google+/Dropbox Etc.

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter, as well. Even if you can revive the phone via a process like Jtag, you'll most likely end up losing everything that's stored on the phone. You might try shooting a PM to XDA member Zarboz regarding the issue, as he has a Jtag RiffBox and is familiar with the process.
Also, I saw your other post regarding the phone dying on you. Have you tried charging the phone for an extended period of time? I've seen some wonky cases on here where the phone died and acted as though it were bricked, only to power back up after being charged for awhile.
Sent from my EVO using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I ran into the same issue with a 2 month old Evo. Try this:
Pop off the upper back cover. Get a torx screwdriver, remove the screws holding on the opaque charcoal-colored cover that goes over the camera. using the edge of something not too sharp, gently push the left side of the grey cover to the right *GENTLY* to get the clip on the right side to release. Now, using that same tool, pry the grey cover from the bottom slightly. Be careful, as there's adhesive attached to the cover and camera lens. Now, once you've removed the grey cover, you'll see a wiring harness with 3 pairs of wires in the bottom right corner. use something to remove that harness very carefully - this is going to be an actual 'battery pull'. 10 seconds later, press the harness back into place *DO NOT FORCE IT*. Now, try powering the phone on.
This fixes my phone for however long as I leave that charcoal cover off of it. As soon as I put it back on, watching logcat I believe it's triggering a faulty thermal sensor which there isn't a fix for. I was able to pull all my wife's stuff off her phone as well as factory reset it before I send it off to HTC>

Strange issue... Does your Z2 ask you for a PIN code when you turn it on or not?

"also in some locations it has signal but manly it don`t" --> unfortunately this feels like an hardware problem, defective or disconnected antenna or something like that.
If it was software related flashing the stock rom should have fixed it...
Have you tried another sim card on your phone? maybe a defective sim card could be the cause too and you can test that easily. if it's also not sim card related i would send it to sony if i still had warranty.
If i was out of warranty i would open the phone (buy new adhesives before you do this, i don't think you can reuse the original) and check the coax antenna cable. I never opened my z2 but it doesn't look that hard.

on step 6 you can see the coaxial antenna highlighted in the blue circle, it looks like a pigtail connects it to the motherboard i would check that first.

I'm not an hardware expert but if it's not the sim and you're seeing some water damage inside the phone that's probably the cause. you might have water residue or oxidation on the antenna connectors which will make your signal weak. you can buy a new antenna online cheap and replacing it looks very easy. after a quick search i found this: http://www.witrigs.com/antenna-rf-cable-for-sony-xperia-z2
I really like my z2 and i would try everything that was not too expensive/hard to fix it
