[Q] Nubia Z7 Mini, Strange behavior of backlight - ZTE Z7, Z7 Max, Z7 Mini

Hi,
Suddenly this week my phone's screen start blinking/flashing. It looks like the light sensor was drifting.
A day later, my phone's screen turned black. After a long charge, i could start it.
But i saw that my screens backlight never turn off. After locking the screen, the backlight goes off for a second or 2.
After a short period the backlight turns on again (but no text, only light). Cause of that my phone's battery is draining like hell. 10% in 30 min or so ( not using).
There's a second strange behavior , my phone is rebooting several times a day (approx. 10 times in a hour). But he reboot only when in lock mode.
I made a video about the backlight, i hope this makes it more understandable.

As a solution, i tried a few things:
- Taken the battery out
- Hard reset
- Reflashed original rom
- Reflashed Nubia 5.0 version.
But the behavior of my phone is still the same.
Any idea's?

[Q] Screen goes on and off in continuous loop

For already 1-2 hours, after shutdown because of low battery, my Nook Tablet's (16GB) screen permanently goes on (only backlight, no image) and off - each cycle ~5 seconds. Worked fine for nearly one year, no recent software changes or so on. Holding Power key for 20 seconds didn't help. If unplugged from power source, shutdowns at all. What should I do?
Upd.: now it's permanently lighted, but nothing's happening. Looks like there is some problem with hardware (battery controller or something like that), 'cause my cable's indicator is strangely blinking with the same period of 5 seconds. Is there a way to check the battery's consistency or something like that? Maybe I should disassemble it to look somewhere inside?
If it stock and not rooted and less than a year than it still under warranty.

Probably not much help but mine did that also after a total battery drained. I changed the charge from the computer to a wall outlet and just left it for a couple of hours and tried not to think about it turning on and off. Went back and it was ok. My thought was that it was an auto bootup hardwired in that was causing it. Taking the battery out might reset that???

[Q] Screens lights on and drains battery

Hi,
Since a few weeks, I've been facing a very annoying problem. I have a samsung Galaxy S3 mini with cyanogen mod 11.0.
When I lock my phone, the screens lights off (as it is supposed to). But about every 30 seconds, it lights on, displaying the lock screen. Then it lights off, and starts the process again. Finally, my battery is being drained. It takes 4 hours to use 50% of my battery.
So I installed Wake lock detector to find the problem, but I cannot find anything relevant, so I cannot really debug by myself.
Could you give me a hand and tell me what I have to look for ?
Thanks.
UP. This issue is really annoying.
Am I in the right section at least ?
Ok, actually the bug is occuring only when the phone is not on AC.
When plugged, it behaves normally. So I wonder, is there a way to make the phone believe that it is on AC ?

Help with lg Optimus F3 MS659

So I just got this phone as a backup for when I go out to work on construction that if my phone were to break it would be this $40 Optimus F3 and not my $640 LG G3. Now here is the issue and I will explain what I have done.
Issue: When I turn screen off (Hit the power button once or when it auto sleeps) the phone just locks up and freezes. It happens when the screen is off for 10 seconds or longer. Before that I can reactivate the phone and it works fine.
Other Symptoms:
-If I allow the phone to stay frozen after about 2 minutes it reboots itself.
What I have done
-Factory Reset several times
-Restored the stock firmware kdz via the lg firmware updater
-Rooted to install a cpu app which does't allow the phone into a lower frequency. I have tried setting minimum frequency to every single option available and it still freezes at the 10+ second mark.
-Tried another battery from a friends F3.
Test I have made:
Disable screen timeout. This allowed the phone to stay on and responsive for as long as the screen was on. No matter how long I let it go as soon as the screen turns off the issues starts and 10 seconds later it just locks up then restarts after another 2 minutes.
Times tested: 10 minutes, 40 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and 8 hours. Same result each time.
I have no idea what else I can do. I would appreciate any help. I am starting to think it is a hardware failure which kicks in when the screen is off. I don't mind having the screen on all the time but I would love to track down this issue. If I must and this being an lcd display would having a special background do anything at all? Is there a color which is a lower power consumption than any other? Thanks

I9300 seems to freeze after turning off the screen

This problem started happening two weeks ago and it's quite annoying. Running Android 5.11 Archidroid with the latest Archikernel version on my phone.
The problem is that my Galaxy S3 seems to freeze when the screen turns off. If the screen is turned off for maybe half an hour or more, pressing the power button will not wake the device. In an attempt to figure out if it's a broken power button, I set the home and volume buttons in the settings menu as keys that will turn on the screen, but that doesn't work either. The only way to fix the issue is to hold the power button to restart the device and doing that every couple of hours gets really annoying. Trying to turn on the screen literally does nothing, as if the phone is turned off.
When the phone is not charging, the interval between the freezes seems to be much longer. The phone will work perfectly for a couple of hours without the above mentioned problem but when on a charger it quickly screws up.
Now, I don't believe my device turns off during this "process". I've turned on the LED for charging and whenever I'd get the screen freezing problem I'd unplug the charger and the LED wouldn't go away, it'd still light up as if the phone is connected to the charger, which it isn't.
Anyone have any idea on what the problem is? I've never experienced this before and it started happening all of a sudden.
How low is the kernel clockspeed running in sleep mode?. Should be at 200mhz at the very minimum!.

If this does not happen on a stock ROM, it would be a problem with the ROM and the phone.

screen is not turning off after the screen time-out time.

hello everyone, i know this problem has been posted before too by @lunercrab but this is a serious issue for me, from somedays my screen is not turning off after screen timeout time, which is leading me too heavy battery draining coz i have a habbit of leaving the phone as it is while working so its screen gets turned off after 15-30secs but from past few days its not working......i m not using any launcher nor my phone is rooted. and while my phone is idle(screen locked) and a notification arrive's the lock screen turns on and again dznt turns off which is leading to heavy battery drain. please help me.
What applications did you install lately, try to work backwards by removing each one at a time.
