Warning: Do not flash your phone with ‘one package’ rom which is available on Samfirmware.com, your phone may not start after flashing with that rom because some files are missing in that package,
This rom is meant for the people who had upgraded to gingerbread and now want to switch back to the original stock rom,
Requirements:
• Odin Multi downloader
Description:
This ROM is meant for those of you who want revert back to the stock ROM,
this Rom which i have uploaded is the Asian version of the official ROM,
for countries like : INDIA,PAKISTAN,BANGLADESH , ETC
I have repacked the firmware from Samfirmware.com and have included the necessary files which where 'missing' in the original one package installation from Samfirmware.com
After flashing with this ROM your phone will revert back to the stock rom
ie. Android 2.2.1 DDKC1
Contents
1. Cooper_1.0.ops
2. Boot _S5830DDKC1.tar.md5
3. Phone _S5830DDKC1.tar.md5
4. Pda _S5830DDKC1.tar.md5
5. Csc _S5830DDKC1.tar.md5
The ROM works fine i have tested it myself and can be very useful for those people who want to get back there firmware warranty

Alternative method
(Takes double the time)
>> Go to samfirmware.com and download European version foryo (preferably S5830XXJLC) and also download foryo of your region (in our case S5830DDKC1)
>> First flash your SGA with the European version foryo
>> After flashing European version foryo, now flash the ‘one package’ foryo rom of your region which you had downloaded before.

im from philiphines..
Hope u can work also on DXKC1 froyo because here in my country DXKC1 was the latest update via KIES..
hihihi..hited thanks button already..kip helping^^
Nice Tut..
But i preferred KPN or KPH is Much better than Old Stock rom.. Lates Firmware are much smoother and Stable..
Besides even if you have v2.3.3+ Firmware like KPN from Kies you can still use your warranty because its an official stockROM.. Unless you rooted it or its a CostomROM with some tweaks..
NOYPI Here!
-----------------------------------------------------
When solving problems, dig at the roots instead of just hacking at the leaves.

Thanks for the Tuts
Thanks OP, i was hoping to get my phone to the service center but the Downgrading part is pretty long from KPH to FroYo (First European froyo and then indian).
My trouble is shortened
will kies recognize it or keep saying update unavailable or cannot update this device
Anyone try this downgrade? So do this mean we can downgrade direct from GB europe to this asian version?
Finally!
I've tried to downgrade with KIES' fw but all of 'em don't work
This works.
Thnx)

change the region

hello im having sgs2 i9100gt is it possible to install other regions firmwares on my phone.if so then how 2 do that .thx
1) Yes. However, if you do flash stock firmware for a different region on your phone you might not (likely) be able to get updates for your region via OTA update anymore.
2) Depends on where you download the firmware from, for example, if you download it from Samfirmware.com, follow whatever instructions they have for flashing firmware downloaded from their site. If you end up with a single file, you can normally flash this in the PDA section of Odin following instructions here if the site you download it from has no specific instructions, but always check.

A Question

Hey guys,
I recently rooted my S2 and installed a custom ROM because i was sick of waiting for Samsung to release ICS in my region ( Also i love stock ICS ).
Recently they released ICS in my region so i went to sammobiles to download the firmware.
My Question is that do PDA and CSC change for each new version of android released or am i supposed to wait for the firmware with the same PDA and CSC as the version i was using.
Also I wanted to know if I could flash firmware of different region on the phone without it having any errors
Thank you.

u can flash any stock rom ...
The only small issue you might face if you flash stock firmware for a different region is you may not be able to get OTA updates for your region when they're released. But it's easy enough to flash them via Odin so this isn't a massive problem.

If i flash stock rom with odin, i lose twrp right?

I flashed twrp 2860 onto my jp softbank s6 edge sm925Z. 5.0.2 android.
I want to remove this bloatware trash.
Is there a way for me to backyp my current firmware
And then try another countrys firmware with odin, from the samsung
Firmware page?
Samsung does not release the jp softbank sm925z firmware.
So my question is, . . .
If i flash chinese firmware i will lose TWRP right?
Then i can not return to my backup stock rom. Because no twrp.
So i would need to hope i can reinstall twrp on the chinese rom right?
If i try other firmwares, i will lose wifi and cellular service right?
Is there a way for me to change or insert my wifi cellular partition information
To new roms or firmwares?

If you install a stock firmware you'll lose TWRP, and you'll have to install it again. You'll not lose wifi.

Unroot for Marshmallow & specific SM-G925 model

Hi,
I have a SM-G925FQ
This is a specific model for Turkish market.
I have rooted it with root method for SM-G925F
Now I want to unroot , to update it when Marshmallow is distributed for this model.
How can I unroot ? (any easy methods ?)
And then of course I will root when it is updated to 6.0
- Do we have root for Marshmallow possibility now ?
- Is it better to upgrade with root ?
- Or is it better to do it as I would (unroot then upgrade ?)

You can only safely take the ota by reflashing your stock rom via odin if the odin flash file exists. I recommend searching sammobile.com to find it and if its not there 9/10 it doesnt exist. Idk if root exists for your varient on mm but i do know that there is a root people use but i would say it is just for them. G925F only just got mm so root may be tricky. Anything else further i can help with is odin flashing to unroot besides that there is nothing else i can tell you other than you need a pc.

Flashing stock rom via Odin is a good idea to unroot and have the opportunity to upgrade.
But SM-G925FQ rom does not exist on Sammobile.
Once I had downloaded it through Samsung's official PC app (was not Kies, the newer one)
But I don't remember how I had done that.
Does anyone know how to download original rom through PC app ?
