[Q] Best Z2 silicone cases (with magnetic charge cut out) - Xperia Z2 Accessories

I like silicone or tpu silicone (maybe thats same, bad in english) cases the best. Please recommend me some cases which can be ordered via ebay. And are there any cases like that which covers even USB port not only micro sd card port, only with cut out for magnetic charging with cable.

Wow a crystal clear case that has cut out for magnetic charging cable. Just like spigen crystal clear but 100 times better because that cut out. On amazon reviews said that some ringke fusion case came with magnetic charge cut out and some didn't so i will ask seller first on amazon or ebay.

Cases for Z3V

Figured opening something for this would be useful for everyone. Being that this model has different dimensions from both the Z3 standard and Z2 itll need its own line of cases. Theres apparently a tough case mate on the way and some leather slip cases. Post up what you come across as you go.
I did some research and found out the cases for the Z2 L50h will work for Z3v since the dimensions of the phones are the same.
I've found no evidence to support that.
VZW website has 2 cases up so far. A silicone one and the usual hard case with holster and kickstand.
It appears that Verizon might be stocking a third case in the near future - If you go to the all accessories page (not the cases page) on the Verizon website and and filter by the z3v, there is also a Incipio DualPro for Experia Z3v in purple or black in the list, although it gives a 404 if you try to click on it.
It looks nicer then the other options, so I'm hoping it is released soon.
Update: I can now get to the details page and ad it to a cart, so maybe they are adding the listing this morning.
The incipio is out in stores. I got one when i picked up my phone. Its actually pretty nice.
Do you need to take the phone out of the case for charging wirelessly?
i have the cheapo black case, works fine charging wirelessly. it was like 19 bucks?
Both the incipio and silicone Verizon cases can be left on to charge wirelessly

That aint cheap, just to some standards. XD
I have the plain silicone case too but geez...it looks VERY plain. Wished the incipio one was in store when I got it at the time. :/
Do the z2 cases fit the z3v

Unfortunately no.
Your best ones available are pretty much the plain TPU case and the incipio dual from Verizon. I have the plain one, but it does pretty alright for what it does in giving me grip.
Everyone should contact Diztronic and ask them to make a TPU for the Z3v. I've always liked their TPU products.

I have the kickstand holster case and just use the shell. It looks good but the protection isn't the best. It covers the back glass but the top and bottom of the phone are exposed in the middle. Not bad though. Both this case and the plain TPU case I bought work with my Sony 5,000mah wireless portable charger (nice device btw) and the Chloe Qi charger.

They're not TPU cases, they're just plain silicone. I'm waiting for the TPU cases to come out
The Incipio case is the best one out right now.
i had post this on the other thread:
look like theres a new TPU case made from China that looks very interesting

There's an otter box defender on otter boxes site. Looks bulky.
I am using the Z2's Trident Aegis case on my Z3v. Fit is just about on point. The opening for the charging port/SIM card is a little off where I can't open the charging port cover to charge. I have to remove it from the case. The cutout where the earphone port is has a gap around the little flap that covers the actual port.
Other than those minor issues, I have been satisfied using this case until a more specific fit case rolls out.

[Q] Tough or armor case with magnetic charging cut-out?

Hello everyone!
I wanted to know if there's an armor case with magnetic charging cut-out?
Also have anybody tried Trident Case Aegis to see if it has magnetic charge port cut-out/working?
Thanks!

not exist, unless you yourself modify any case

Anything anyone's spotted yet?
I've found the Devilcase and the alumania, but I'm not convinced of them because they aren't full cases.
Not really a tough case in some aspects however the Ringke hybrid has a full TPU bumper with a hard clear plastic back, It has a charging port cut out (thin TPU band on the top edge of the port) and a magnetic port cut out but no Micro sd card slot cutout. This is the "revised" version so old stock may not have the magnetic port.
If your after a full on nokia strength case then your best bet is to purchase and existing one and bring out the hacksaw to make an opening for the magnetic port.

LG G3 D850 PMA charging won't work with Spigen Slim Armor Case

I recently got a PMA / NFC sticker from eBay, and a Duracell Powermat for 2 devices, and the phone will charge fine without a case on it. However, it will not charge through my Spigen Slim Armor case.
Does anyone have any ideas on making it work with the case? Can I switch out the magnet on the charging sticker with something stronger or add something metallic / magnetic to the inside of the case? Perhaps cut or modify the case?
If none of the above, can anyone recommend a case (not folio / quick circle) that will work with PMA charging?
I have tried 2 cases with my LG Qi charger for d851, one of which was slim armor the other being a slim caseology and the charger wouldn't work through either of them. My Qi charger is now in a drawer waiting to be sold. I just bought a spare battery with cradle charger and swap out the battery on the fly...its much better. Wireless charging looks nice on paper but the feature isn't ready for primetime. In most scenarios its up to 2x slower than normal charging. I can't see any reason to favor it.
I run a d850 with a. Nikkon bumpercase and the back I installed PMA coil on and it works fine. It has its advantages

Any links to the case? I could not find it on Google.
How's the protection on it? I like the slim armor because it feels so sturdy.

Ringke Fusion Case defect?

I just received the highly regarded ringke Fusion Case and the USB flap doesn't close/ fit into the micro USB slot.
I assume this is a defect since my headphones flap fits fine, but I'm reaching out for others input to confirm my defect assumption.
Mine didn't fit perfectly either. I just cut it off.
Although I don't own the Ringke Fusion, I do however own two Ringke Fusion MAX cases and their flaps for the headphone jack and usb port fit perfectly.
I've had my N6 in a ringke Fusion for almost a year now, and both flaps still fit snug as they did out of the packaging. I'll also add that the USB port gets used very often.
I have the smoked version.

Experience with several phones and cases . . . when the case did not fit; I made it fit with the help of a sharp knife.
Thanks. I know I can cut it off, but I would expect it to be 100% functional out of the box.
The one I bought for my Moto G3 fits great! They have good customer support...maybe they would be willing to swap it for you?
My USB cover doesn't fit either. I may try reaching out to their customer service even tho I've had it for a little bit now. I did almost do as others said and just cut it off.
Mine fits but it does have to be pushed in, not effortless like some other cases. For those of you who got it from Ringke on Amazon I would definitely reach out to Ringke, Amazon is very strict on sellers so they are usually very responsive/generous when it comes to defective products.
Just FYI that Ringke is sending out a replacement. They were very responsive and quick to resolve. Hopefully the replacement works as expected.
I reached out to Ringke.. They offered me a 20% refund and said it is a common issue in which most people just cut off with scissors. Defeats the purpose of even having them.
Not good customer service at all and probably won't purchase from again.

Orzly case semi review

Just received my case yesterday, it fits well, has a little ridge around the front that will protect the screen when put face down, fingerprint sensor is still easy to use, all in all it is pretty good. They did send a note saying they will be making more colors soon.
Edit
With the case on connecting to the charger is a little difficult. Oblong hole in the case and a rectangle plug does not match that good. It does work but you need to make sure that it is actually charging.
Yeah I actually was just looking at the new colors this morning.. I saw a dark navy blue, orange, and razer green that wasn't available previously when I ordered my clear one
Got orzly case too in two colors.
It's just a regular chinese-made case, you can get it on AliExpress much cheaper.
With the case on you can't swipe from the very edge of the screen. Also you can't charge it easily because the hole near the USB port doesn't fit the charging cable.
I do not recommend to buy it.
Used the ORZLY case for about a week before getting fed-up with the charging cable being finicky to get in. Bought the TUDIA case and it's fantastic. Can't recommend it enough.
Yeah orzly really botched the Razer cases.. I'm using a generic unbranded from ebay and it fits alot better!
Yep I have a tudia as well and I've had similar looking cases for the past 5 devices now ?
I too am using the Tudia case... Since Orzly screwed up on the usb c port. I'll maybe mod it later.

Edit, I found just pushing the USB C connector into the charging port works fine and actually might hold the jack in better because of the tight fit.
