I didn't really know where to post this. Hopefully, this is the right location. I am willing pay a developer for this project.
I have an Amlogic S805 Android 4.4 Quad Core 1GB/8GB Box. I have firmware in .img file. The rom is rooted. I need to have some apps removed and also make adjustments to the launcher and logos and etc. I have some other stuff I would like to with this box if possible.
I have tried AML Tool that is posted in another post but I cannot get the IMG file to open at all.
Please let me know who can help me!!!

Unlocked? There's super user app on it. So I know it's rooted.

I dont know what it's exactly means, ( rooted ) But I have similar box which completely restricted all other apps if you dont have subscriptions to kartina.tv. I would be really appreciated if you can give me any clue how to remove this ? Thank you advance .

By mistake I wiped / format my MX E-M6 Amlogic AML8726-MX Dual Core TV Box.
With in the "Recovery Menu" now the box has no firmware on it, showing
only a green android logo on startup. Do some body have this firmware image or can
can provide information or link where to download the stock firmware image.
The device came preloaded with Android Jelly Bean v4.2.1.
Please help I am very desperately an sad!!! Thanks in advance.

Even though long time has passed, do you still need help?
I unbricked my AML8726-MX Dual Core TV Box (1gb ROM /8gb RAM model g18ref Media Box) with speciad SD card which has to be made under Windows XP, included some rom files etc on it and it recovered everything, and rooted it.

hi friend im new to this,i have a mx box but i tryd to change the settings on the box itself to support my hd tv but now i have lost everything
cant belive it...all i get is a black screen on tv and blue led light is...is it tottally dead? if not what can i do?

Hi, I bought a Kaiboer M6 while I was in china and I noticed that it was supplied with YunOS and can't run anything including KODI. make matters worse, it is a Chinese only YunOS, can't even change the language on it. Kaiboer is not helping at all. It seems that the M6 has ATM 7039S ARM Cortex-A9 but some websites say it has the Amlogic chip AML8726-MX, so I was wondering if it is possible to change the OS on the box from YunOS to Android 4.2.2 or better? Hey guys, I hope you can help me on this one, I am a bit nervous...
I've received my Cube iWork10 Flagship Dual Boot (i15TC) yesterday and though it would be a good idea to fresh install Windows 10 1607 (RS1)... it was not... lol
So I though, oh well, I'll simply download the ROM from "cube-tablet.com/download/" and put it back on my tablet, but, first of all, the file is hosted on Baidu (All in Chinese, but I've managed to create an account) but the free account does not seems to be able to download the 7.4GB ROM file.
I don't know if someone would be able to get it and put it on a file sharing service or tell me what I should do in order to get it.
The other thing that I don't know is what will be the method to put this ROM back to the tablet.
If you can help me, I will be really greatful !

I may be a noob, but I wonder, how you think, that a S805-based ROM would fit on a S905X-device like the M9C Pro.
Maybe I don't know something that you know, this is why I ask you to explain it to me.
I'm sorry, if I got anything wrong and I would also be happy, because that would mean, that I learned something new and that I would be able to give this ROM you suggested a try.

I have a m9c pro 4k box it came with android 6. Great box now I'm having problems. It is showing the mbox boot screen. I have an apk that I setup to load on boot and play the last program it was left on but I can't see anything because the mbox screen is there. The fact is I had set up my sdcard in it to as internal memory completely forgot took the card out to lend a friend he formatted it and now that is what is happening to my box when I reboot it. I need help.. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction. Problem with this box is that it has a reset button but it only works to load firmware from an SD card. I am trying to do the firmware update myself as I have done so with other Android systems. Can't find m9c pro firmware anywhere. I understand though that I should be able to load any s905x firmware. Help needed. Thanks.

Any luck? I have an S905 and I'd like to get to systemless root with Magisk. ( but my box came pre-rooted)

Thats exactly what happens when you get a cheap Chinese tablet, still its your choice and i respect that.
Now to your question, download CPU-Z in it and tell me which PROCESSOR is embedded.
Rooting can be done with Kingo-Root, I-ROOT, Farmaroot,etc.
Hit the thumbs up to support me and encourage me to keep helping people.

I researched a lot and found out your device uses a M-TEK PROCESSOR and considering the problem. I think you should refer to the above Q/A thread by me (tap on it) and drop a like on all my comments.

Thanks for your reply, actually I tried many rom but no luck, some people told me in the forum that you will need the actual firmware from manufacturer and right now my device is not giving display OTA will not work for me, anyways I will try the .img ones you provide and let you know the result, Thanks Appreciated.
