Hello!
Yesterday I've flashed Hive UI rom for micromax canvas nitro a311. I was facing volume button problem plus priximity sensor problem so after that I've flashed this patch : http://forum.xda-developers.com/a31...-4-4-2-clean-nice-ui-buggless-t3046683/page12
Now volume button problem and proximity problem fixed but either of the sim card is not detected. Whenever I open up dialer and dial any no. , it says Please Turn Off Airplane Mode. Obviously airplane mode is turned off and I can access wifi and bluetooth.
In settings "Sim Management" isn't opening.
Please help me out how to fix this issue.
Edit : I forgot to mention that I accidentally flashed the TWRP recovery for different device from here : forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691886. Is it the real cause of my problem?
Yes the same thing happened me last week, i tried to install different version of twrp in my A311 and sim got deactivated and showed the message 'Sim card not detected'. I lost the IMEI and tried with mobileuncle tools and lot of other methods to recover the IMEI. But no method succeeded to get back the IMEI. After that I downloaded the stock ROM and flashed with YGPD tool. I didn't find any other method to recover the IMEI. You can also do the same thing, download the stock ROM from http://www.needrom.com/category/micromax/a311/ and flash it. Take a backup of apps + data with titanium backup and simply restore it after flashing.
Guys please help. Im having the same problem.
Nothing i've tried has worked. I dont know what to do with this phone now.

sim card not detected
Same problem for me I wrongly used other phone twrp . even I flashed stock from using ygpd tools and tried the base band patch also ... Nothing works ... My a310 detects the sim as airtel or idea but no signal there ...every thing works fine except signal... Base band patch didn't helped... Please help me .. My phone is useless now

Use mtk Droid tools nd re write the imei's.
Tried mtk tools already no problem with imei phones shows imei number... It detects each and every sim card but showing no signal.... But if I use bsnl sim card it shows signal and I can make a call but no second sim working... And if put two bsnl sim cards none of them is working... Please help

Go to Settings - Security - Set up SIM Card Lock and try removing the check from Lock Sim Card.

u have lost ur efs folder
if u have ur efs backup then restore it
I don't have my efs backup. Tried a lot to recover it or to change to an imei that i've got under my battery.

check weather u have 2 files named efsbackup.tar.gz and efsdev-mmcblk0p1.img.dz in ur phone memory or ur memory card

Looking in some threads here on xda , i found this program to create a .nv2 backup with my IMEI:

Ops sorry about the IMEI...
I sucessful Install the drivers here on my pc , i make the process exactly the thread and in the end my phone screen become white with some colored dots! It's strange a lot but i can't install a baseband on my LG P500 =(
This strange thing start's when i doing the NV Restore !!!

I think ur phone has not been flashed wid the new baseband....u need to flash ur rom after you complete the steps from

I flashed CM9 then had to revert to the 10e Basband for my phone to work.
Works like a charm now on ICS with 10e Baseband

i wanted yo instal miui on my huawei G610 - u20 but thanks to inpack mobile everything went wrong with mobile uncle and after rebooting my phone it went in bootloop.
after lots of reading and googling i have found a official firmware of my phone with sp_flashtool inside it with two different type :
SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1320.0.174_Secboot
and
SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1316.0.148_DLInfoV1-cust
i have followed all of correct procedure but in with sp_flash tool sec boot i encounter this error : to download code area is forbidden on this phone
and with sp_flash tool CUST it says( brom error : s_brom_download_da_failed )
and when i run a memory test it says ERROR : NAND FLASH WAS NOT DETECTED
I AM REALLY REALLY CONFUSED AND DIDNT FIND PROPER ANSWER TO THIS KIND OF QUESTION
what can i do right now?

i had the same problem bro! but what i did was to flash dat egypt firmware without the PRELOADER . and it worked.....
but the issue on ground now is that the phone is writing INVALID IMEI
but the phone will work with some network carriers!

I think i solved it!!! there is a portugal ROM update for that phone (it mostly is like downgrading the SW) which will automatically get the bootloader unlocked and then CWM can be flashed through mobile uncle!!!! Guess i will have to start a post on this as i see a lot of G700-U10 users around

Your method helped me and I recovered my Huawei Ascend G700-U10 phone....irony is that my IMEI number is still present so thanks alot!!! :laugh:

hy bro i have same problem but this method is not working. i unchecked the preloader and pressed upgrade firmware but it says please check the necessary parts(i think).by pressing download it gives brom error.

Some day before i flash a rom with currect procedure but it dint work . so i decided to flash my custom rom by Sp flash tool . i did it successfully but after rebooting ,i am getting Invalid Imei problem for both my sim slot . i searched on google to fix it and tried almost everything but its not working. I m stuck on Invalid Imei problem .

Mobile uncle
I have heard of some nvram problem but couldnt fix it. I tried lots of other solution that i dont remember abt that.

i have redmi note 3 32gb snapdragon, i made an OTA update last week miui 8.1.6.0 and later wifi started acting wierd, when wifi is switched on phone restarts. Then the wifi is not at all switching on wifi mac address is 02:00:00:00:00 and bluetooth is not working.
Anyhow phone is working great IMEI are intact getting good signal.
Things i tried
1. Tried factory reset didnt solve wifi issues.
2. flashed custom rom still no success.
3. flashed chain rom no success.
Kindly help me solve this, Other threads and guide mention restoring IMEI and efs partition but can anybody make a guide just how to repair only mac address and Bluetooth. It will be a great help.

same here, i've tried many custom roms (cm13/14, RR M/N, Lineage, oxigen), stock rom (miui), go back n fort from stock to custom roms, i've use many phone but none of them having wifi issue like redmi note 3, i'm really really really tired with this phone, until now i haven't found any solution for this issue and i'm tired searching for the solution, one thing that i can say is i will never ever buy xiaomi phone again.

I have never faced such issue..plz contact any professional for help.
This isn't xiaomi's fault..you must have done something wrong and you don't know it.

It is Xiaomi's fault. I did the OTA update few days ago and my WiFi toggle now does not work.
I am now on latest MIUI 8.5.3.0 and its exactly the same issue after the update.
The ROM is buggy and WiFI hard coded values get lost possibly when some condition goes true.
I have reset it 3 times but no resolve and now since BAR4 has confirmed he's tried custom ROMs as well and nothing has worked - I am not rooting it or using custom ROMs.
And please know that obviously every Redmi Note 3 in the world will not face the same issue at the same time.
I have raised it with Xiaomi. Hope they can provide a resolve.

The same thing happened to me, and now I can not turn on wifi anymore, while bluetooth is enabled but does not work the same.
I have never made any changes to the phone, only the automatic updates.
Any solution?!

I've brick my kenzo before, my problem a bit different, my device cant use compass anymore, flash global or beta cant solve the problem. When i look at the the file "flash all.sh" not all the image file in the "images" folder are flash with Mi flash tool. So i flash the image file via fastboot. One of them name "persist", this one was the culprit for the compass to not working, now my kenzo work as new. To flash via fastboot mod, your device must be unlock and goodluck...

Same problem with my RN3 kenzo 2GB. After that, I have unlocked bootloader, rooted the phone, flashed custom ROM. Now I am on Pixel Experience based on Android 8.0.1. But still my WiFi is not turning on, Bluetooth is enabling but not working at all. I have changed my WiFi Mac address through hex editor for android. But after changing it, while turning on my WiFi, the phone reboots. So I am still finding some solution. Somebody post some solution, if I got some solution will definitely post it here as a thread. Did u try Flashing latest fastboot rom using pc? Use Clean all and flash option. If that doesnt solve then go to service center.

faced this recently while updating to MIUI 9.5.3 .. tried factory reset .. flushing ROM .. nothing helped .. wifi mac address is gone ..
noted one thing .. i took it to mi service center .. they tried flushing ROM with older version .. it didnt fix .. i asked thm to update the latest ROM 9.5.3 or else i'll have to update to that using my mobile data.. this time they opened the back panel while flushing ROM and the problem was fixed .. got a proper wifi mac address ... bluetooth was also detecting other devices .. but as soon as i removed the sim tray and inserted my sim wifi stopped working again .. upon chking found that wifi mac address again lost ... i guess its something to do with the sim tray or the back panel ...
tried calling mi customer care but those guys on phone are noobs .. he told me to contact wifi provider to get mac address ... i couldnt speak anything else...

visited service center as well .. they too dont knw the fix .. they asked me to replace motherboard ...

Flash latest fastboot global developer rom.

I'm facing the above issue & from what I can understand there is no solution yet..?
Is there anyone that can help ?
UPDATE on Redmi's Note 3 wifi Mac address error,
Boot on TWRP, Factory Reset, then flash any ROM according to it's creator.
In my case I flashed the Greek Aroma ROM & device sensors ce back to life
Hello friends with redmi note 3 , even i m facing the same issue after i got ota 9.5.3.0 updated successfully ,after that my wifi & hotspot are not working , my mac addr became 02:00:00:00:00:00 , tried refalshing but of no use , dont known wht to do , plz if any body finds solution for this plz update it.
