and if i could do so, can i do a root on it? and is there any chance to revert it back to its original rom which is built on android 4.3 JellyBean?

It is too sad. Why Samsung makes no effort to update its devices ? We, the unfortunate owners of Galaxy Grand Neo Plus are then condemned to remain on Android KitKat . Provided there are developers who can give a second life to our side yet not so bad configuration devices.
