[P][CM11] Nandroid backup error "Can't mount /data!" - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I've installed image "CM11 M12" (cm-11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-i9100), Xposed and then I've encrypted the device.
This works all well.
However, after completion of configuration and installation of other apps, I cannot create a Nandroid backup with CWR v6.0.5.1.
After backup of /system competes, the error message displayed is: Can't mount /data!
This error persists if I try to mount /data manually before starting backup.
I've never faced this issue before, and therefore I assume it is related to the fact that the device is encrypted.
Do you have any idea why Nandroid backup fails?

Hello android lovers!
I have Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100. When i bought it, samsung stock rom 2.3.3 was installed. I rooted my phone. Then i backed my samsung stock rom with Clockword. Backed up succesfully! Md5 sum too!
Then i installed miui 1.11.4 for SGS2. Installed succesfully. Then i decided to backup! I entered recovery mode again and tried to backup!
This time i got this message.

Backed up but without Md5 sum file! My previous backup had Md5 file too. After installing miui this problem started.
I tried with rom manager too! It booted in to recovery mod automatically. This time there was no any backup with or without md5. Here is the message i got.

Kernel 2.6.35.14-g2624ecb-dirty

SMP PREEMPT
Rom Manager v4.8.0.2
ClockworkMod 4.0.1.5
How can i fix this?
Thanks for your any help in advance...
Have you tried deleting the previous backup (of the miui rom) and try again via CWM?
i have just deleted all backups inside of clockworkmod backup directory and tried again.
still same problem.
Try a older version of cwm. pre 3.0
Might need to format the sd card again
Is there an installation guide for my device ? First time i installed it with a modified kernel.
thanks for help!
I have found a solution. Thanks to plisk3n from miuiandroid forums...
I have this issue also. I find that you need to generate the MD5 itself using the built in md5sum program. So ADB Shell into your phone, change to the clockworkmod/backup/xx.xxx.xxx folder and then run "md5sum * > nandroid.md5"

[Q] Stuck in aman recovery and SD won't mount

I was recently doing a restore when I realized I restored the wrong backup file with aman recovery. When I booted back into recovery and tried restoring the proper backup file I get an error saying "E: Can't mount SDCARD: /nandroid/".
What should I do to fix this?

Cannot restore in Twrp

I tried CyanogenMod on my Oneplus X. I did a backup in twrp before flashing CyanogenMod
Now when I try to restore I get errors and cannot restore
First I get this:
E: unable to locate partition by backup name efs1
E: unable to locate partition by backup name efs2
And then I get this:

Any idea how to fix this. I really like to restore to Stock ROM

Recently I installed Twrp by nebrassy with pixel experience plus rom.In the recovery at first i try to backup nandroid in a usb drive via otg.I select all available partition for backup.Everything was fine. But at the ending of backup process, when system part was backing up it shows backup error, deleteing files. Then i try to back up in internal storage. In this senario, Twrp shows backup was successfull at n.. secods. But when I boot into system I found no backup file of twrp in my internal storage.I tried it twice,But same result. Now, is there any way to successfully back up nandroid in my device?
