- Toolbox menu in settings will not be implemented as in this secsettings it's really buggy (unfixable). Use S5 toolbox addon app provided in the ROM to choose which apps you want in toolbox (more than the stock 5 apps). Don't add more than 10 apps because you will get bootloop! In addition, when toolbox is on, install button of .apk files won't work. Disable toolbox to install apks outside playstore.

1. Download and copy the ROM to your device (preferably on internal SD)
2. Please Backup (full nandroid!) your device, in case you wanted to revert back the way it was.
3. Reboot into PhilzTouch Recovery
4. Do Wipe Data/Factory Reset in PhilzTouch recovery.
5. Do Wipe Caches in PhilzTouch recovery
6. Go to Advance --> Whipe Dalvik Caches in PhilzTouch recovery
7. Flash the Gnabo ROM for Note 8.0 by Andrei1412 V1.5.zip, when it finishes, reboot your tablet.
8. After your tablet reboots, do not touch anything, just wait at least a few mins, so that ROM settles down.

I have love& hate relationship with Samsung TouchWiz launchers. I like it because most of Samsung apps, widgets plays quite nicely, I hate it when it sluggish, heavy, and not much customization (Finally Samsung realized theming option, so they are bringing themes to newest devices). I tried to make every effort to increase smoothness of these launchers, and faster when moving once screen to another. However, the more apps you have, the more widgets you have, means when you open widgets, it takes a few sec. It is also no brainier that more apps you have, the slowest sluggish tablet gets, so don't blame the launchers nor ROM itself.
The ROM comes with TouchWiz MagazineUX Launcher installed as default, however you will have flexibility and options to use different version of TouchWiz Launchers listed here below in this ROM.
Don't think that all Samsung TouchWiz launcher works out of box; all these TouchWiz Launchers listed here below specially moded/edited/ported by me to work on this ROM. Keep in mind that these TouchWiz launcher DPI dependent, means moded/resized to work 160 DPI as this ROM based on - Do NOT ask me to re-mode it for different DPI.
When you want to switch to different TouchWiz launcher, you need to follow these instruction very carefully as this requires manually copying files..etc.
If you want to use different TouchWiz launcher, first download the one you want to your tablet, and follow these steps below;
First, make sure you have 3rd party launcher (such Nova, Apex) on your system as backup
Go to your tablet's root system\priv-app, and delete current TouchWiz Launcher apk
Copy TouchWiz launcher you want to try, back to system\priv-app and give permission 644.
Reboot your tablet. Once it reboots, you may get TouchWiz stopped error, this is NORMAL behaviour!, so fix that, follow next step;
Go to Settings --> General --> Application Manager--> All --> and locate TouchWiz home, and click "Clear Data and Clear cache"
Reboot your tablet!, now you should be good go.
*Read!: Each time you switch to different TouchWiz launcher, you need to re-do these steps!, plus if you want to come back to Magazine UX launcher, you also need to clear data and cache for MagazineWidget, MagazineHome, and MagazineBriefingWidget apps too*

i will look into that, but my tablet is GT-N5110 WiFi, so I can't able to fully test your port, but try and see if I can able to help you on rotation issue.
Have you ping @Mikyno and see if he has any idea why rotation does not works? he may throw some idea.
Did you try to check if the sensor works in samsung test ? Just grab the apk from a rom zip (i removed it) , install as system app and dial *#0**#. You can try also to download an app to test it.
Also why 4.4.4 android version? It is port of gnabo or not ?

It is port of your ROM I can tell for sure , for other questions of yourse above, I will let @andrei1412 reply you.
bringing up Kernel good point here, @andrei1412 uses Boeffla Kernel 2.1, that could be issue....maybe good idea to revert it back samsung stock or Civato's kernel and see if resolves the rotation issue??

My rom is based on 4.4.2 so is strange that this is a full port of gnabo. if sensor doesn't work at all even with a check app, I would try to change kernel. If this doesn't work then find system files responsible of rotation.

think like this; GT-N5100 is on 4.4.4, so he is porting your ROM back to GT-N5100. That's why he called 4.4.4, but it is based on your ROM.
I agreed that rotation very well related to kernel.

I understand now. I thought you've just modified some files of gnabo to make it work on your device but you did not do this. Instead you took files from my rom and implemented in yours . Then if the base of the rom is the one for your device the issue can be in the kernel or in some incompatibilities of a gnabo file in your rom. PM me what did you swap and change in your rom, if compared with the official build.

I changed the Kernel with Civato's, but rotation doesen't work too - even Accelerometer, Geomagnetic Filed, Gravity, Gyroscope.. nothing because i checked with an free app from Google Play.

go talk to @Mikyno, he is very nice , in fact, give him download link so he can check it out the files...
if kernel is not the issue, it is must likely some libs file conflict I will assume. Compare Mikyno's system\lib folder to yours - use WinMerge or KDiff3 to do file level/binary level comparison side by side.

ohh that made sense to me now. It is possible that some sensor files being overwritten from Gnabo's files, so you need to find all sensor files in Note 8 Stock ROM and copy back them to your port ROM.
it sounds like sensor files has to be stock ones which specific to device itself in order to work...
let me know how it goes...you almost there..

I saw some users can't rooted new released Europe (France and Italy) G70XXKPH Firmware (Rom) therefore I began the custom rom.
Release 1.0 Similar to the stock rom , I didn't big changes because some users want to use stock firmware (rom). If you want to have a "rooted stock rom" you must download and Flash with odin Release 1.0 (Defult) Rom.
If I find a free time , Next release will be come.. , but now I do not have a enough time... see you guys.

Who is the voted ; 1 Stars funny.. nobody download and used yet. I don't care anyway. I added this for users.
I would be interested in trying this one out... but I am not near my laptop at the moment...
In the mean time, any annoying bugs to worry about? I have two INT 5.0 players and one of them is still with stock GB and the other one on CM9. I would like to take the stock one and play around but I need it to have the camera working properly since I use that for skype calls... anyway, if you have a bug list, please share that with us.
BTW. I used your other rom and was very happy with it... so, thanks for your work...

Full wipe not necessary if you are using same stock rom. otherwise you have to full wipe.
Deodexed All System Apps...
I have a good news for you guys.
All developers knows , deodex stock rom a little bit hard. You must work on long time.
Deodex Stock Rom very important accually , if you can do that , you can changes in to the firmware ( Rom).
For example if you want to use "uot kitchen" or alternative , you must have deodexed rom therefore ;
Last night , I am deodexed all odex apps manually. Not used any script because our "bootclasspath" a little different. Samsung roms hard so I do that manually all night. All system apps Deodexed and works great.
Now I am working on framework. I think , I will finish in days.

Deodexed All Apps ( apk) and framework .jar files. all of them works great.

Most intresting uot kitchen's things for me I used without deodexing. On their site's main page they write "Support for stock odexed roms". And it really works
But Your job is grate anyway, go on.
P.S. Maybe You know how to add another locale into existing ROM (Russian for example), also I know about MoreLocale and its analogues. That would be better for dozens of users 4pda.ru. Thank you in advance.

oh I see! is that the reason why my device bootlooped when I tried to theme the battery icon using rom toolbox?
Just finished setting mine up... so far so good... nothing fancy but that is what I like about this rom... Thanks again.
I wonder though... I think you had a battery icon mode on your other rom... would it be too much to ask for your next release? A dotted circle with battery percent number in the center would be nice.

I flashed your latest... again, great job... thank you.
I did notice though a very small glitch and it was on your Rls. 1 too.
The sound mode selector on your power menu (slide down from top) has the wording sound, or vib... too low. Lower than others (wifi, etc...). No biggy but I figure I let you know.

I can answer some of these...
I did not notice the dolphin browser... the stock browser is for sure still there.
It includes a kernel. You need to pick the US or Int versions which contain different kernels. So make sure you flash the right one. It seems you will need the international version which contain rumirand r13 (I hope I spelled it right). You also do not have to flash the kernel before hand. Just flash the rom and you are set.
Coming from stock or any other rom, it's always recommended that you do a full wipe for the best result.
I have not noticed many bugs other than a small glitch with a label as I mentioned earlier. I have used other roms from this Dev before and I have been quite happy with reliability of the roms.
Not sure about the notification bar.

1 November 2014: For those who drool over seamless transitions, I have created a great looking Boot animation for CAGrom 2.0 KitKat, that transitions perfectly to lockscreen wallpaper, that will transition to the default wallpaper, that will transition to the shutdown animation... All seeming to be the same image.
24 August 2014: Working on Kit Kat build of CAGrom. Looking to add some minor modifications, minor theming, and adding Multiuser.
Here I'll Post some guides to make your tab look more attractive after flashing the ROM
Make Sure you have root and Xposed Framework installed . If root problem persists then please flash the latest SuperSU v2.16 from here Xposed Installer is already included in the ROM . You just have to install the framework and reboot.
How to get 27 Toggle MOD -
First of All let me tell you that some toggles will not look appropriate . If they don't look appropriate or they are not properly themed then post a screenshot and I will try to fix the problem As Soon as Possible .
Method:
1)Download SQ lite Editor from here
2)Open it and grant root access
3)Now go to settings storage>settings.db>system
4)Now , search for notification_panel_active_number_of_apps and notification_panel_active_app_list
5)Open notification_panel_active_number_of_apps and click on tab's menu button and click on edit record and set the value to 26 and click save
6)Open notification_panel_active_app_list and click on edit record button and now add the toggle code which you want . Codes for toggles are-

This MOD is also mentioned on the CAGrom website. But I have written in a more simplified way
1)Open Xposed framework and enable the following modules-
XHaloFloatingWindow
XMultiWindow
2)Restart Device
3)Open MultiWindowSidebar and change tap mode and drag mode to Paranoid Android Halo for best results.
4)Click on Toggle MutiWindowsSidebar
5)Enjoy

Do u think its posible to ad multiuser with the build.prop method, and posibly include a md5 hach in the next build?

Tried it. Cant seem to get the home button to do anything. Tested Epic settings for buttons but was none the wiser. Will try a reflash now.
EDIT: Debloated version
EDIT: Reflashing made it worse, reboot to recovery loop. Ended up doing a Odin flash of a stock FW. And then flashing your debloadet ROM. Now the button is working OK. Will report back if I meet any other obstacles.

Any chance for a version for the p5220. That is a monster of a tablet. With 2 GB of ram, it is fast and great to use. Mine is rooted, debloated and customized with Xposed.

This is my first rom. 1.0 was basically to learn the process, and make minor changes. Moving forward, differences will be more noticeable. To answer your stock rom question. Mostly yes. I see you are in the US. My standard ROM, is based off the stock Restl3ss posted. That was an international ROM that is an improvement over the US stock rom. I did not like the US stock rom when I bought my TAB. I just added my customizations to it. It will likely die after the current version. Basically my base. The debloated one, while not 100% debloated. Is mainly a space saver ROM at the moment. There are some under the hood changes from where I tried removing touchwiz. Hence why, you need to open TouchWiz first then switch to Epic if you want to use Epic. I chose epic because I like a more AOSP feel. (Secretly, I can't wait for CM11 for the TAB 3 10.1)
Feel free to use the feature request at the top in the black bar to add feature requests. At the moment I am open to all suggestions. I am learning the features of the dev:db system and I am, also looking for additional developers and contributors. More so someone who can make custom themes.

I have not disappeared. I have been dissecting the Kit Kat release, watching others work with it, and theming the 4.2.2 Rom. My Kit Kt release will be version 2.0.
My themed 4.2.2 release will be version 1.5. Once I have a good theme for 4.2.2 I will release the update and hopefully my p5200 version.
Please see post 3 for my screenshots of current theme work. Very ugly at the moment. I am hoping to transform TW into as much AOSP like as possible. We shall see how the experiment will work.

I will try to make this rom the best available on xda for the tab 3 10.1 but with due respect to the devs of other roms like @Restl3ss ( he is doing a great job on pimpdroid) and ofcourse @moonbutt74 (Hope he makes us available cm 11)
The updated zip file was uploaded yesterday with the correct Play Store. I will be working on putting together a flashable 5200 zip today, and hopefully available tomorrow. I have no way of testing the 5200. When it becomes available flash at your own risk and be ruthless with feedback.
The next version is moving along with Kit Kat, and new features. Hopefully, will be fast in production. I will be playing with a build for the Galaxy S5 (before an actual ROM build is made), so I hope I don't cross any files over between my directories or sending them to Aeyan. KitKat for the Tab 3 will be CAGrom version 2.0.

Installation Procedure for v1 :
You have to on Stock NK1 Base ROM ( Clean flash via odin recommended )
Install clockwork mod Recovery ( CWM is Mandatory, no other recovery will work )
Download the ROM from Link
Extract the rom and Copy the folder to your external sdcard in clockworkmod/backup folder
Go to Recovery
Wipe Factory Data/Reset --> Install gennxt N4 rom and then Restore backup from sdcard and note that DONOT FACTORT RESET AFTER RESORING THE ROM BACK UP I REPEAT DONOT FACTORY RESET AFTER INSTALLING BACKUP boot will take some time so wait a little If you follow all steps correctly and phone do not boot try a hard reboot ie by taking out the battery for 30 secs or more and then put back and reboot

Q. What is the first thing i need to do before installing this rom ?
A. First download the recommend CWM and flash it through odin then go to CWM recovery mode and make a backup so in case anything goes wrong you can still restore the backup

Instructions (installation and after installation recommended!!)
For better installation you have to flash stock firmware for your device using Odin and root your device again :silly:
1-download 5.0.zip
2-put it into your sdcard or device
3-wipe cache/dalvik (if stuck at boot after installing or bugged or any errors then wipe cache/dalvik/system/data and reinstall zip file)
4-reset factory
5-install zip file
6-reboot system

My first comment is you should always insist on doing a clean full wipe install. This will help you out with any troubleshooting. Dirty flashing can and will cause a lot of problems. Not to mention everyone is not an experienced flasher. Setting them up to brick a device in my opinion.

Hmmm nice work you got here. But this rom is mostly based on xposed mods.... .. (should include credits to each xposed app). Fixing the reboot animation seems easy to fix. Its either the shutdown.qmg in the system/media folder or the loop qmg. I ported a few in the past(ported zip bootanimations to samsung qmg format). So yeah, hope that helps!

Its either the shutdown.qmg in the system/media folder or the loop qmg. I ported a few in the past(ported zip bootanimations to samsung qmg format). So yeah, hope that helps!

This is the best ROM for this device ever made... hehe
Great job on this ROM. I initially tried clearing just the system and data directories, alongside the dalvik cache, before installing. The results was terrible, despite the system booting fine and all, it took a year saying Android Starting... That's all on me, as I fell asleep, but luckily it didn't fry the device, just a battery drain and it wasn't terrible. Nonetheless, I recommend a full wipe coming from another ROM, before considering this ROM and I'm using a SM-T230NU. Apart from that, the one issue I have identified with the Rev, was already highlighted, which is the lockscreen. Memory utilization is also great, though I did some uninstalls for most of the Google Apps, I'm consuming about 700mb, leaving at least 600mb free for anything and I haven't started tweaking startup apps. Having said all of this, emoboy, you've done an exceptional job ?

this ROM should called Google ROM its based on all google inc apps and its the best rom for tab4 7.0
but only one thing that make it bad (its size = 1.56 GB).
I would like to suggest to be able to disable hardware button for 'Back' and 'Recent' because you've made the software button available. The home button can stay. How's this?
Any luck with the lockscreen? Runs smooth but that would be awesome to fix that laggy lockscreen...

lol fix = change lock screen wallpaper
this bug cause of the resolution of the stock wallpaper its not compatible with this device resolution
Let Down but great app
When I first read the tutke of the post, I almost broke into my happy dance seeing someone ported lollipop. Hopes were crushed almost instantly, but regardless this is a great ROM and I am perfectly content staying with this one while we wait. Good job.

Sounds like a bad download. Did the MD5 Sum match?

Instructions
1. Install custom recovery
2. Download the zip - firmware
3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware
First boot will be very long (10-12 minutes).
Known Issues
- error on search cell provider
- send sms
Important
After booting up in settings wizard, Be sure uncheck diagnostic data
If you already checked it, Settings - General management - Report diagnostic info - off then reboot
It can help, if you have gsm issues.

You can try it . Performance and battery are good ,bug only on gallery and when you want to change wallpaper ,to pick wallpaper from gallery , Camera is working fine+ video recording
For better experience on YouTube you need to change product.model system/ build.prop

On p555 port for now only screen off memo . Only N7 port have all the goodies from the note line (phone ) . The p555 port is more stable than N7 port !!

With some copy paste ....
- Scroll Capture work
- Smart select work with gift animation work
- AppLock (to set you need to go on settings /privacy )

I will have root the first 2 or 3 boots and then will lose
root as reported on the Magisk manager app.
Also, have been trying to use Dual boot patcher with this ROM
but the patched zip will not flash on the dual boot patcher app or on TWRP.

I try now the tablet with sim card and has the same problem with microphone
With handset , bluetooth handset work fine !! When valera1987 return from vacation this bug will be first priority
