I will fully help you if you found any problems (crash or bugs) but you have to follow the instructions carefully !
Instructions (installation and after installation recommended!!)
For better installation you have to flash stock firmware for your device using Odin and root your device again :silly:
1-download 5.0.zip
2-put it into your sdcard or device
3-wipe cache/dalvik (if stuck at boot after installing or bugged or any errors then wipe cache/dalvik/system/data and reinstall zip file)
4-reset factory
5-install zip file
6-reboot system

1-it will ask for software update (not software update its just a Device Registration)
(very recommended steps)
2-update Google Play Services from play store
3-update all installed google apps from play store
4-open xposed installer
5-active the 5 modules
6-install framework then reboot

8-open xtheme engine
9-you will find system theme and Gem Flat theme
10-choose Gem Flat theme
11-reboot device

My first comment is you should always insist on doing a clean full wipe install. This will help you out with any troubleshooting. Dirty flashing can and will cause a lot of problems. Not to mention everyone is not an experienced flasher. Setting them up to brick a device in my opinion.

Hmmm nice work you got here. But this rom is mostly based on xposed mods.... .. (should include credits to each xposed app). Fixing the reboot animation seems easy to fix. Its either the shutdown.qmg in the system/media folder or the loop qmg. I ported a few in the past(ported zip bootanimations to samsung qmg format). So yeah, hope that helps!

This is the best ROM for this device ever made... hehe
Great job on this ROM. I initially tried clearing just the system and data directories, alongside the dalvik cache, before installing. The results was terrible, despite the system booting fine and all, it took a year saying Android Starting... That's all on me, as I fell asleep, but luckily it didn't fry the device, just a battery drain and it wasn't terrible. Nonetheless, I recommend a full wipe coming from another ROM, before considering this ROM and I'm using a SM-T230NU. Apart from that, the one issue I have identified with the Rev, was already highlighted, which is the lockscreen. Memory utilization is also great, though I did some uninstalls for most of the Google Apps, I'm consuming about 700mb, leaving at least 600mb free for anything and I haven't started tweaking startup apps. Having said all of this, emoboy, you've done an exceptional job ?

this ROM should called Google ROM its based on all google inc apps and its the best rom for tab4 7.0
but only one thing that make it bad (its size = 1.56 GB).
I would like to suggest to be able to disable hardware button for 'Back' and 'Recent' because you've made the software button available. The home button can stay. How's this?
Any luck with the lockscreen? Runs smooth but that would be awesome to fix that laggy lockscreen...

When I first read the tutke of the post, I almost broke into my happy dance seeing someone ported lollipop. Hopes were crushed almost instantly, but regardless this is a great ROM and I am perfectly content staying with this one while we wait. Good job.

Sounds like a bad download. Did the MD5 Sum match?

Requirements
This Rom should only be flashed on the 4.3 update firmware. Do not attempt to flash this Rom unless you have updated to the newest firmware, HBOOT, recovery, etc...

Installation:
1) Download Rom
2) Place on external SD card
3) Flash in Recovery, Aroma Installer will Startup
4) (until the next update) choose APEX Launcher to start with, Do not uninstall any apps (working the issue and will update as I discover the ones ok to uninstall from Aroma)
5) Setup will say it has stopped at the end (but it does work), Google play services may give errors until you update apps then it will be fine.
6) If you want to install the GE Launcher then reboot to recovery and reinstall the Rom with out wiping but this time in the Aroma Installer choose Google Home and again do not deinstall any apps. Upon next boot into the Rom, Setup will not be needed to be done and Google Home will be available to switch to when the Home key is pressed
7) flash the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip from recovery
**Ignore the gfs error when adding your Google account, it is the only time you will see it.
*** Apologies for the setting up of the Rom in V3. The issues will be straightened out soon. Bear with me.

I successfully downloaded ROM. Installed as instructed. First attempt, symlink error while flashing caused reboot and stuck at splash screen. I manually rebooted to boot loader, booted back to recovery and flashed again without wiping. Installed successfully. Flashed SuperSU zip as instructed. Seems very smooth so far. Very nice, thank you for this.

I can host a torrent for you. As long as other people will contribute bandwidth it'll get progressively faster / not require watching advertising to defeat a captcha to download.

hmmm... what version of the firmware are you on? .1 or above? I would think that it would work on the .1 firmware but I didn't try it. I know for sure that it works on the .3.
The most recent firmware from Capt. New partitions and all.

To be safe, make a Nandroid Backup before you flash some ROMs!!
!!!One other thing you must to know, the ROM didnt triggers Knox, but the Custom Recovery does. But you have no chance if you want to flash Custom Roms, you must flash Samsung unsigned Recoveries like TWRP is. Every CS Recovery/Kernel triggers Knox and set it to 0x1!!!
And another one. After Samsung releases the KK FW and the development for p601 is very poor too, i decided to make my Rom for the 3G version too. Its based on KitKat XXUNCD6 FW and only for WiFi-only version (SM-P601).

Troubleshooting
if you have trouble with charging when your device wont shut down, flash the KK bootloader. The probs came from KK update. Only the bootloader or a custom kernel with the fix for it solve that your tab charges and be off.
please read carefully what ive written in Aroma, could be bootloops if you didnt choose some of the first "Mods" or select "None"!!!

How to Flash:
Place the Zip on your intern or extern memory.
boot into Recovery
--> Fullwipe recommend when you came from another Rom
go on install into TWRP
look for where you placed the Zip
click on the zip an slide to the right
after that go to reboot
Rebooting could take some time if you make a fullwipe

I am happy to report that I have successfully installed this rom. I had no bootloops and everything is running smoothly.
Thank you for this rom. Very good job done.
Installed without wipe and then with wipe - didn't feel any difference. ROM is veeery smooth and stable so far.
The only issue I have is with Multiwindow plus. I try to install it (in Aroma) but can't find after installation. Backup of MW plus from Titanium doesn't seem to work (Incompatible ROM blah-blah..). So no pop-up windows and no transparency.
But anyway the ROM is awesome, thank you very-very much!!
Tried to reinstall MW plus from Market and via .apk downloaded from the relevant thread. Every time I get a message "Not compatible ROM..."
Though I could get translucent sidebar by flashing .zip from the second post.
Maybe it failed coz I used twrp 2.7.0.3... I'll try again using version 2.6.3.3
Good rom ....worked after i used TWRP 2.6.3.3 to flash it.
This is why i preferred 2.6.3.3 in OP.

It seems ive put the wrong MultiWindow file to the Rom. So you cant get the translucent MW. Sorry. For now flash the file youve flashed to solve it.
For the MultiWindow Plus App, is it installed or not? As i can see there should be no bug in updater_script or something else. So it must be there.

Yeah i know it. It is on every of my Roms. Dont know why atm. Cant beleive why so many people changes the fonts. For now, try with a different app. I hope i can fix it when my p605 get KK.

I've just reflashed ROM to check. MW plus has been installed, yes. And it does add 4 windows to multiwindow feature (as you actually state in MW plus description in Aroma). But! There is significant difference between MW plus behavior on 4.3 and on 4.4.2. On 4.3 I've used 4-window and Dockable modes and I could open any app through the side bar in window mode (as in Windows for PC) with icons Minimize, Extend, Close. On 4.4.2 Dockable mode seems not to work at all (for 3d party apps). I guess it's because MW plus says that it is not compatible with device/ROM (refer to attached screenshot).
I hope that this issue can be solved, 'cause I really miss it.
And is there any chance to add NTFS and flash support? That will make xKat flawless and best ROM for P601 ever!

Did you installed Xposed framework first via the "Xposed Installer" that you can find in the drawer? Actually, no framework...no working modules.
Then you will have to activate the Gravity Box module and finally you will be able to launch it successfully.

Let me just say that this is just what i wanted, stock stable nice rom with customization options. Thank you, working great for me on stock kernel. I just want to say that font is a bit problem because of my language (Serbian), 2 specific letters not showing at all. However, this is not a problem, i downloaded fonts from google play and installed them and now everything is good . I use Roboto Light font, it's very nice looking and supports all our letters.

I noticed one thing not working for me from Xposed modules, full screen pictures in calls, but i have zip downloaded somewhere in xda, i can't really recall where i downloaded it, but i flashed it on this rom and it's working. Thanks again!

I have tested the mod you are talking about, it works indeed. Nice if your phone become like you want it to be.
First impressions the rom is amazingly fast. It suits all my needs. Less customization, blotwarw free.

I followed your instructions but it still says not responding when I open it. Can any other flashers confirm it is working?
If anyone is facing problem with xposed just delete it from sustem/app, restart device then install xposed v2.6.1 (it's your choice to install it as system or user app).
This solved my problem as the version preinstalled in rom is experimental one.

Yep, I'm interested to about this information.
So what? The Xposed framework is well installed now (app_process = 58 & XposedBridge.jar = 54)?
I will test again right now...I flash the ROM and tell you.
EDIT : I've done a fresh install. The first thing I done was to install the framework.
Exact procedure is :
1) Install framework
2) Reboot
3) Activate the modules (You can activate the 3 modules directly)
4) Reboot
5) Launch the module, set the parameters
6) Maybe you'll have to reboot
7) Everything works (As there is no bug in the module but I can't do nothing about that)

The fact that it is the "2.7 experimental1" isn't the problem as I use it for months.

I'm sorry but I don't understand the question. Not clear.
If you press Vol+ ou Vol-, you will change sound. A bar will appear on screen that will let you see the result of the change.
BTW, someone with Locked boot loader have tried this ROM?
I have my bootloader unlocked but still Bravia engine & Graenote work. How?

I have love& hate relationship with Samsung TouchWiz launchers. I like it because most of Samsung apps, widgets plays quite nicely, I hate it when it sluggish, heavy, and not much customization (Finally Samsung realized theming option, so they are bringing themes to newest devices). I tried to make every effort to increase smoothness of these launchers, and faster when moving once screen to another. However, the more apps you have, the more widgets you have, means when you open widgets, it takes a few sec. It is also no brainier that more apps you have, the slowest sluggish tablet gets, so don't blame the launchers nor ROM itself.
The ROM comes with TouchWiz MagazineUX Launcher installed as default, however you will have flexibility and options to use different version of TouchWiz Launchers listed here below in this ROM.
Don't think that all Samsung TouchWiz launcher works out of box; all these TouchWiz Launchers listed here below specially moded/edited/ported by me to work on this ROM. Keep in mind that these TouchWiz launcher DPI dependent, means moded/resized to work 160 DPI as this ROM based on - Do NOT ask me to re-mode it for different DPI.
When you want to switch to different TouchWiz launcher, you need to follow these instruction very carefully as this requires manually copying files..etc.
If you want to use different TouchWiz launcher, first download the one you want to your tablet, and follow these steps below;
First, make sure you have 3rd party launcher (such Nova, Apex) on your system as backup
Go to your tablet's root system\priv-app, and delete current TouchWiz Launcher apk
Copy TouchWiz launcher you want to try, back to system\priv-app and give permission 644.
Reboot your tablet. Once it reboots, you may get TouchWiz stopped error, this is NORMAL behaviour!, so fix that, follow next step;
Go to Settings --> General --> Application Manager--> All --> and locate TouchWiz home, and click "Clear Data and Clear cache"
Reboot your tablet!, now you should be good go.
*Read!: Each time you switch to different TouchWiz launcher, you need to re-do these steps!, plus if you want to come back to Magazine UX launcher, you also need to clear data and cache for MagazineWidget, MagazineHome, and MagazineBriefingWidget apps too*

i will look into that, but my tablet is GT-N5110 WiFi, so I can't able to fully test your port, but try and see if I can able to help you on rotation issue.
Have you ping @Mikyno and see if he has any idea why rotation does not works? he may throw some idea.
Did you try to check if the sensor works in samsung test ? Just grab the apk from a rom zip (i removed it) , install as system app and dial *#0**#. You can try also to download an app to test it.
Also why 4.4.4 android version? It is port of gnabo or not ?

bringing up Kernel good point here, @andrei1412 uses Boeffla Kernel 2.1, that could be issue....maybe good idea to revert it back samsung stock or Civato's kernel and see if resolves the rotation issue??

I understand now. I thought you've just modified some files of gnabo to make it work on your device but you did not do this. Instead you took files from my rom and implemented in yours . Then if the base of the rom is the one for your device the issue can be in the kernel or in some incompatibilities of a gnabo file in your rom. PM me what did you swap and change in your rom, if compared with the official build.

I changed the Kernel with Civato's, but rotation doesen't work too - even Accelerometer, Geomagnetic Filed, Gravity, Gyroscope.. nothing because i checked with an free app from Google Play.

go talk to @Mikyno, he is very nice , in fact, give him download link so he can check it out the files...
if kernel is not the issue, it is must likely some libs file conflict I will assume. Compare Mikyno's system\lib folder to yours - use WinMerge or KDiff3 to do file level/binary level comparison side by side.

if kernel is not the issue, it is must likely some libs file conflict I will assume. Compare Mikyno's system\lib folder to yours - use WinMerge or KDiff3 to do file level/binary level comparison side by side.

that could do trick...give a try...I am sure it is all about missing pieces here and there.....
once this is fully functional, we will port it back to GT-N5110 WiFi version too..:good:

yeah doesen't work :'(
i'm trying to fix that anoying bug, but i don't have so many knowledge as you becauz it is my first ROM.

EDIT: Yeeeah!!! It's working, i followed this guide ( http://www.androidgadgematic.com/2012/08/how-to-fix-accelerometer-compass-revert.html ) Some aspects and I will upload the new version of the ROM.

ohh that made sense to me now. It is possible that some sensor files being overwritten from Gnabo's files, so you need to find all sensor files in Note 8 Stock ROM and copy back them to your port ROM.
it sounds like sensor files has to be stock ones which specific to device itself in order to work...
let me know how it goes...you almost there..

Flashing Steps:
1.Download all the files from the folder(you may not download the apks from my gdrive also you can find those on play store too but some of the apps included are necessary for you to get extra features or some things to get working)
2.Wipe system,data,cache and dalvik (no need to wipe internal or external storage like seriously?)
3.Flash the rom then flash mm vendor camera zip(Optional): Install any additional packages.
4.reboot system and wait for 10 to 12 mins
5.you will see it is bootlooping(dont smash your phone)
6.hold the power button until it turns off
7.then turn on again and you will see that your rom booted
8.enjoy

Tested this rom for 1 hour.This rom is stable and has a very nice and fluid UI. This Rom looks nearly like MIUI 9( ).While testing this rom,I found that there are few other bugs which are not mentioned here:
1)import sim contacts not working...phone app crashes
2)cannot flash google apps(tried only opengaaps pico).Also after failed opengaaps install,the phone will get stuck on starting apps.I used TWRP 3.0.2-0 Carbon Fiber Light Blue Round
3)Screen won't light up after pressing home button after device is locked.To unlock the device,we need to press the power button
4)Default file manager does not show external sdcard and camera photos save in internal storage (maybe its the stock Flyme app's fault)

my pleasure and lemme check if i can solve your issues
1)yeah sim import doesnt work in many devices(idk its a fault from flyme maybe)
2)i already added gms installer on the download section so please use that and yeah if you are stuck on starting apps just hold the power button till it turns off and then turn on again it will be okay
3)its a common issue for most of the flyme 6 rom available on xda im still sorry tho for this
4)yeah file manager does not show ext sd card(maybe its a port rom issue or something) but please use ES explorer or something like that

i use only one sim so my mobile data works because i only use one sim
idk about dual sim maybe flyme just doesnt support this dual sim stuffs or idk

no u cant use it by only changing the kernel
u need to change the full base if u want to use the rom
and i would suggest you to port the whole rom with your base rather than doing these useless experiments and then ending at a bricked device

Hey...thx for these absolute rom...I didn't flashed the rom right now...but I want some questions answers...like as I used many roms such as cm13,rr and nobel rom...the prmbls
is tht cm13 amd rr is prerooted..and it can be xposed also..but there are many means many apps which we install in cm 13 or rr..the phones shows google playstore stopped..nd many apps get stopped ..and the package installer too got stopped...apps like:magisk,dls18,yourquotes,and many games also....
But the nobel is quiet good but if we tried to install xposed it sturck in bootloop...
So does flyme supports root amd xposed..and also it supports magisk
And it supports every app for it android version??
