Question regarding 1700mhz band

So I read around that the hack for the Samsung Galaxy Note I717 to get the LTE 1700mhz frequency working on T-Mobile (U.S.) and Wind/Mobi (Canada) is available.
My question is, would this or any hacks work on any LTE1700mhz band phone to work on AWS carriers running on HSPA mode?
Like the HTC One X AT&T version for example..
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100
which is the same specs as the Note in terms of bands it uses...
Anyone knows??

I'm curious too. I refuse to buy the Lumia in black off of Rogers and the AT&T model is likely to be unlockable like the 900 was.
Add one more request to that. I'm not eligible for an upgrade until next year, so I'll be paying full price for my Lumia 920. I'd rather get the unbranded version if I go that route, since I won't have AT&T blocking any updates that they're notorious for doing.
Hopefully someone will answer this, that att logo looks ugly, and they block updates, so I need to know this, and two others too.

Unless Nokia did something extraordinary, I really do not believe they will release the phone with 9 LTE bands.
The original specs was PentaBand LTE and the AT&T LTE Bands were missing. Meaning the international version will NOT work on AT&T's 4G LTE.
Please see my post here for more information.
Here's an interesting article about unlocked/international phones. I found it pretty informative.

I may just resign myself the AT&T version.
Make a simple answer yes or no? The att lte phone have lte 2100 so does the international lumia 920.

Yes. According to the current specs both have LTE at 2100Mhz.

[Q] sch i545 lte bands

I got a chance to purchase the vzw gs4 for $250 under a one year contract for very good plans
Wondering if the contract expires, will i be able to use other gsm carriers?
AFAIK, i545 should come unlocked and can be used on att hspa and tmo lte(band4), am i right?
Just wondering if i545 has lte band 17 for att, or has anybody tried putting an att sim to i545 yet?
Another question I know verizon is notorious for not pushing timely system updates, but how far are the custom roms from the 9505g rom?
Thanks for your input
i saw in the 9500 dev section somebody wasn't able to enable tmob lte for this model which seems wired
has anybody tried att sim card?
Why is the thread moved automatically to Q/A section though

A simple search would tell you that many of us have used non-VZ SIM cards. The phone is SIM-unlocked.
Here's the bands that the Verizon S4 has:
LTE 750 / 1700
WCDMA 850 / 1900 / 2100
CDMA 850 / 1900
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
[from http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=4066 ]
T-Mobile uses 1700 for LTE, so there appears to be a match.
For AT&T, 700, 1700, 2300 for LTE. 1700 is the common band.

I don't the bands on phonescoop is correct
samsung listed i545 to have LTE band 4 which is 1700/2100
One other thread mentioned Tmobile LTE cannot achieved on this model, only hspa
Att use Band 4,17, not 2300 for LTE
I'm just wondering if anyone has tried to hack the radio as they did for i535

OK, so here's a reliable source - Samsung. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SCH-I545ZWAVZW-specs
LTE: Bands 4/13 (Band 4 is 1700 MHz, band 13 is 700 MHz)
CDMA 1x/EVDO Rev.A: 800/1900MHz
HSPA+/UMTS: 850/900/1900/2100MHz
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
I don't understand the various 1700 MHz band allocations, so I can't say if Tmo's band 4 is compatible with VZ's band 4 radio.
"Hack the radio" meant enabling radios that were built in to the phone which VZ disabled. I don't think that's the case with the VZ S4.

as far as I know there aren't various 1700MHz allocations. In such case, every allocation must have their own band, like Band 2 and Band 25. Both of them are in the 1900MHz but with diferent allocations.
So any LTE Band 4 enable device should work in any LTE band 4 carrier.

Does Redmi Note 4 SD work in US?

I would like to know if Redmi Note 4 can be used with US carriers? I am moving there and was planning to buy a phone
Redmi Note 4 Supported Bands:
2G bands GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands LTE band 3(1800), 5(850), 40(2300)
US Supported Bands:
2G capabilities GSM 850, GSM 1900
3G capabilities UMTS 850, UMTS 1900, UMTS 1700, UMTS 2100
4G capabilities LTE 700, LTE 800, LTE 1700, LTE 1900, LTE 2100, LTE WCS 2300 (30), LTE 2500
Doesn't look like it but I wanted to know, since some users have claimed that they are able to use 3G despite the band being unsupported.
Get the ZTE Axon 7, Supports USA bands. I wish I did. To answer the original question. The note 4x works on at&t in the US, only one band. Band 5, sucks. So its not as fast as it could go but it at least works slow.
I have a Redmi Note 4X international edition and I'm running on the T-Mobile network. I'm in Utah. I couldn't give you the detailed channel info but you can always check the site http://willmyphonework.net/ it's a pretty good site to check phones against networks. That's what I did before I purchased my phone.

Don't know. I don't have a data plan.
I'm using the Redmi Note 4 global edition on T-Mobile and I get LTE on band 4.

Where did you buy it?
Is the LTE just as good as any other phone or is it ****tier in some way?
I don't understand why more people don't use them here if they work just as good, since it's clearly the best phone out there under 200 bucks, as far as I can tell.
I ordered a global version, but I still don't have any confidence that it's gonna work based on what little information I can find on the internet.
I'm on T-mobile US, using a Redmi Note 4 Global, and I've had no issues with it. Good LTE speeds, but I can't get VoLTE to work though.
Screenshot of my speeds here: http://imgur.com/h7So6Sj
yeah, I've been looking at apps like LTE Discovery the last couple days, and it looks like there's plenty of Band 4 in town where I'm at, so I guess that's good. Usually the places I go when I go out of town have no lte anyway so I doubt I'll be missing much.
I don't mind not having VoLTE since I use like 10 minutes of voice calls a month and I don't think my current phone uses it anyway.

LTE Band 26/Band 5 Compatibility

Looking over the phone specifications it is clear this phone Sprint LG G3 supports LTE Band 26.
My question is will this phone also support LTE Band 5?
The reason I ask this is because band 26 is a superset for band 5 and in the country where I live one of the cellular network providers covers Band 5.
