In case you don't know...BLE has been officially supported by Android for awhile, but BLE is an inherent part of BT 4.0 and higher. This means by design the Nexus 9 (4.1 spec), as well as any device with BT 4 (or higher) has it. Although it might help you to know that Broadcom lists the component as supporting BLE.

Bluetooth Smart / BLE

Hello All,
I've heard from many sources (also official) about BLE availability on Android 4.3 (from software side) for Samsung S3, so just after last update of my phone I've just bought Sigma R1 HRM but... it doesn't work on ANY (I've tried five different) 4.3 ROM. Only CM ROM (4.3.1) could pair properly with this HRM. So this functionality was included in 4.3 or not? Maybe someone could help to pair BLE accessories with SGS3 4.3?
What's more interesting. my girlfriend's Xperia V could pair with Sigma on Android 4.1.2!!! I don't know how it is possible if it is one of key feature 4.3?
P.S. Just for info: Endomondo on Android cannot handle BT Smart, it is not connected with android version.

[Q] ANT+ support on N9?

As per subject, I'd like to upgrade for a quicker tablet than my n7 2012 for use with my bike turbo trainer...... but does the n9 have native ANT+ support?
Thanks in advance....
The info I gave on the Nexus Help Forum Google Group about the Nexus 6 applies to the Nexus 9 too:
There's 2 parts to this question:
1. Will Android 5.0 include the ANT+ API's?
If it does, then the Nexus 6 9 will definitely include the ANT+ hardware - as the Nexus devices showcase any new OS functionality. We haven't heard any news about this though, so I doubt it.
2. Will the Nexus 6 9 have ANT+ hardware?
If this is the case, then it should be possible to add the software piece in a custom ROM/AOSP build, just like was done for the Moto G 4G: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/ant-moto-g-4g-maybe-t2875420
or possibly using the ANT+ Enabler app (if you want to pay for it) in the same way as the Nexus 5 and 10: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.z2software.antplus
Fingers crossed.

Looking at the iFixit Nexus 9 teardown, yes it does have ANT+ hardware (the Broadcom BCM4354)!
Note that the patch for the Moto G 4G mentioned above will not work, as that is for a Qualcomm chip.

Which android with HID, OTG support on Honor 5X?

I bought an ipega pg-9025 gamepad
It paires bluetooth OK with my Huawei Honor 5X (KIW-L21), Android 6.0.1
But the controls do not work...
No bluetooth HID support by Huawei/Honor 5X (answer of HiHonor support)
So, which CianogenMod or other alternative android OS supports bluetooth HID, supports USB OTG, and Wifi 5 GHz perhaps?
Does it have all functions of Honor 5X supported as well... fingerprint scanner, ea?
know where to ask questions..
plz know the xda rules before posting threads..
there is a separate Q AND A section for asking your doubts... so first read and then post dont simply spam

Cyanogen Mod 13 support USB OTG.
For Bluetooth HID, I never tried, I don't know.
Wifi 5 GHz will never be supported, hardware limitation.
The best is to try, just make a nandoid backup of your actual ROM (you need to unlock bootloader first), so in (the very unlikely) case you don't like CM13, you can revert easily to your current ROM.
bluetooth HID is the question...
Before I do all this effort/take the risk
Maybe buying a second hand Samsung which has OTG and HID?

Install Ticwatch OS on Amazfit Pace

Hi together,
Is it possible actually to port Ticwatch OS to an Amazfit Pace? I mean most of the Ticwatche‘s have similar specs.
Would it technically work? Would be awesome to have Wear OS on the Pace
Thanks,
Joshua
@Joshua115
will not work: Ticwatch uses Qualcomm chipsets basing on ARM architecture. Xiaomis models are basing on RISC-chipsets which differs a lot from qualcomms.
Android Wear is not open source thus almost impossible to port...

But just in theory: if I would find a Smartwatch with wearos that has identical specs, would it be possible to port this OS?

Yes, it happens with phone/tablet ROMs. Also with Stratos & Pace ROMs

The problem is that WearOS is ARM-only. So there is no identical other smartwatch - and probably will never be, because Amazfits platform is very old and bases on Android 4.4 => I guess it is from 2014/2015...
