Miracast Help - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm using ScreenBeam Mini 2 paired with a LG G4. The connection is great and I am very happy with it. Now I am trying to automate the set up with tasker. When I manually toggle Miracast it connects automatically but I can not find a way for tasker to toggle it. I have two Miracast apps listed. One brings up this screen shot below (but doesn't toggle miracast "on"), the other doesn't do anything.
Using secure settings I see that when I turn on Miracast "wifi_display_on (1)" is being called but I can figure out how to do that through tasker. I am using a LG G4
Any tips?

+1 this. I've been looking for a way to automatically connect when the miracast radio in my car is detected, similar to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The closest I've got is using the autoinput plugin in tasker to mimic me pressing the buttons. This task runs when I connect to Bluetooth in the car

Mobile TV via mymobiler

Hello
i was wondering if anyone had got mobile TV to work via Activesync\bluetooth on mymobiler.
I can connect via bluetooth and active sync fine, then connect to the internet, however when I get to the mobile TV it asks for my works proxy username and password.
Looking into it a bit further, active sync gives the phone a different IP address and thus causes this issue.
I want to be able to keep the mobile network IP address rather than be allocated a one.
Is this possible?
That would have to do with your phones settings.. MobiTV works fine from my phone...

As it stands, I have a seperate monitor dedicated to the phone and dock. Right now, I must connect a seperate mouse and keyboard to the dock in order to use my docked phone, but I would like to use one mouse & one keyboard to control BOTH my computer, and my docked phone.
I have used Synergy and ShareKM. But both have totally dropped Android and IOS and there doesn't appear to be an alternative that Ican find.
Anyone know of an app to do this? Anyone interested in the idea?
...and, is this the correct sub-forum to ask in?

Connecting 1 Android (as hotspot device) to Another (as host), and display IP Cam

Hey guys, unique hacking type of question.
I want to use 1 android phone as a wifi hotspot which has IP cameras as clients that connect to it.
I then want to connect this hotspot android phone (call it the USB device) to another android phone (call it the USB host) via USB OTG. I need the host android phone to be able to display the IP Cameras live feeds.
So my question is, if all the software was written, and both phones had a root app that talked to eachother, could I accomplish this?
What type of hardware bandwidth limitations do you think I would face? Thanks so much for any help.

Nox App Player - Free Android emulator with camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF6

Hello,
First of all I have to say that I am a beginner (newbie) in the field of hack. I do not code or develop. I have been experiencing a connection problem for some time between my Panasonic DMC-GF6 camera and my Surface Pro 4 tablet with the NoxPlayer 6.0.5.2 emulator. No connection possible by Wifi. I wonder if compatibility exists in this way. Indeed it works perfectly between the same camera and a tablet Samsung Tab 3 which allows me to control the shooting of photos and control the Panasonic Lumix. An idea would explain that I can not connect to Wifi via the NoxPlayer emulator. Someone already try manipulation?
Thank you in advance for all the information I can get here.
Thanks
valorisa

Disable MAC Randomization for a WIFI profile when the configuration option is missing

My daughter has a Moto G7 running Android 10 at college and needs to disable MAC Randomization for her wireless profile in order to connect. However, the option in the profile settings to use the device mac is completely missing. I am working with Motorola support, but they are currently telling me that they are "working with campus IT" which I don't expect to help at all. I was able to use a dialer code to bring up the wifi settings and it absolutely shows macrandomization=1.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to change that setting? I really don't want to root the phone since it goofs up many of the apps she uses and she has been using her laptop for a hotspot. But it's crazy frustrating that it would probably be just fine if I could edit the settings file to change that value.
