Callbar type app for android?

Callbar is known from ios, it allows incoming call being displayed as notification only, great if you browsing web reading or doing something important, but then all sudden you get a call you wish not to answer or not to hung-up either... it's taking all screen, i hate that.
Does anyone know any apps/mods that do this? Call blockers can, but the darn things auto hung-up
I heard that CyanogenMod have this feature, but I dont want to use that.
Anyone? Share me if know anyway to make this happen

Any Luck in finding anything related?

Is there a way to get call controls in notification area on CM9?

I'm using CM9 and during a call, there are no options to mute, hang up, hold, or anything else in notification tray. This is the one thing I loved about the Samsung variant of Android. Do I simply need to install a dialer app from Google Play to get this functionality, or is there a feature in CM9 to enable this?
Can anyone help me get this functionality? Thanks in advance.
What would be the point all those buttons are on the in call screen in ICS?

If you are multitasking outside of the phone app while in speaker phone, isn't it pretty quick to pull down the notification tray and click the phone so the phone app opens (which has all the options), then just switch back to what you were doing? Doesn't even take 5 seconds to go from browser to phone, back to browser...
Although it would be a nice feature, it is not a necessary one.

No offense, but I didn't ask what you thought was necessary. I just want to see if anyone knows how to get what I want. I don't know why people are trying to talk me out of this

Automatically Clear Notification - App

Orange Lightning said:
I've searched, and I cannot find any app that will automatically clear a specific notification once its been received. I keep receiving a useless notification all the time, and keep having to clear it. I want an app that will automatically clear that notification every time I receive it.
This thread is to see if anyone knows of ANY app that can do this, or
To (petition?) for an that can do this. So, if there isn't an app that can do this, POST HERE THAT YOU WANT ONE

Pent from Tasker, or Crafty Apps told me that there is no app because Android doesn't allow it, presumably for security reasons.
If this is true, this will be a sort of petition for Google to change that and make the option available if desired.

Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.

Yes!
i have been looking for this. i don't want my notifications to appear on the screen, but i want to get a vibrate notification, or a sound notification for my notifications for fb messenger, and textfree. i have used tasker for this, and all that i could do was make the status bar expand whenever i unlock my screen. it did not automatically clear it, so it wasn't helpful. i need this!
I have found a way to do this. you have to go to settings -> applications -> and choose the app. from there, uncheck the box for notifications, and you are good to go.

well, there are in my rom. i am running a jellybean rom, but i have seen it in other places too. maybe you should update your android version.

Yep, that's only possible on JellyBean. On other Android versions there isn't way to do it, and I think Google will not add it (because JellyBean already have it, so there is no reason to add it to older versions).

I have Android 4.0.4 so if they added the feature in Jellybean then they did what I and the other people of this forum wanted. Yay.
I'm going to get the Nexus 4 once its out of the sort of beta testing a phone goes through when it first comes out. THEN THE OPTION SHALL ME MINE!!!

Remove "Location set by GPS" from notification

The addition to my notification area telling me that my location is set by GPS is driving me crazy.
Anyone know how to get rid of it?

I hate it too, along with the ongoing WiFi notification, and Verizon takes off the WiFi toggle and unlimited scroll the the home screen. I'm starting to hate Verizon and Samsung for this. Everything else I like about the phone
