Screenlock,Power key options and Factorymode issues - Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro

I am running a custom rom,I am facing some problems with my device
I am not able to use my default lock screen.I have tried swipe and pattern and pin loc options. But nothing really locks my device.Anybody can open the device.
Second problem I am having is with Power button. If I pressed it morethan 2 seconds instead of showing me the power options,it directly shutdowns the phone
Thired one is with the factory mode. After the restart a flash message comes and says Factory mode is enabled. Then it turns off the WiFi.
Why these problems occure and how to solve it??
I tried many ROMs, but still these problems are there

i dont have "insurance" so i just cant get a new one
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM???
NEW MESSAGE POPPED UP: the device is unable to boot beacuse either you have turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an application from an untrusted source. press the volume up to reset your device or press any other button to cancel. this operation will delete all your personal data and restore the device to its factory settings.
You have to hard reset the device, like the message stated. If that doesn't do the trick, boot it in tricolor mode and reflash the ROM.
<SOLVED>
Problem solved. Factory reset. Good thing i had back-up.

[Q] S2 wakes up by itself then freezes when power button is pressed

My Galaxy S2 started behaving strangely all of a sudden:
After a few minutes in standby, it wakes up by itself.
If I press the power button when this happens, it freezes completely. The only thing it will do after that is power off, if I do another long press on the power button.
But if I swipe out the lock screen instead and play around in it, it will respond normally, until I press the power button again, in which case - as you might guess - it will freeze completely.
I have the stock firmware from Orange Romania on it, and it still behaves exactly the same after a hard reset.
The problem occurs with different SIM cards inserted in it, as well as with no SIM inserted.
Any ideas on how to fix this, or on how to identify the culprit here?

A possible solution is to flash an insecure kernel (e.g. cfroot) via odin and flash a custom rom. but this will void your warranty.
Or you could flash a stock rom thru odin
Backup data and factory reset would be my first step .

The problem was still there after doing a factory reset, with no apps installed. But I've flashed Cyanogenmod 7.1 since then, and it seems like everything is fine now.
I would still be interested to find out if there's a way to identify the cause of this problem, or if there's a workaround for it, though.

[Q] Galaxy S iii Boot loop not even odin is working

Hello Guys,
I am facing an uncommon issue.. Yesterday i was using my phone normally and suddenly it started to bootlooping. I thought it is a normal boot loop so tried to enter into recovery mod but no luck.:crying::crying::crying:
Then i tried To start odin to flash stock ROM. but after i enter into download mode it asks do you want to continue... Nothing happens when i press up volume key and after few moments phone reboots. At first I thought it was a Volume key issue. But even if i keep it on the confirmation window the phone reboot in sometime..
One more thing when i kept phone for charging it shows charging icon for some time and then it shuts down and shows charging icon again..
If anyone have any solution please help..
Thanks
Sounds like the power button is shorted out, warranty repair required.
What rom are you on? More details needed..

Bootloop every 8 seconds, even in recovery mode and fastboot

Facts:
- Pocophone F1 is in an endless boot loop. Every 8 seconds it reboots itself.
- Recovery mode and Fastboot are reachable, but this doesn't stop the boot loop.
- I have never used a custom rom
- The bootloader is unlocked (ADB confirms this), USB debugging is enabled, but OEM unlocking is NOT enabled.
History:
The problems started after a regular update (I had never put a custom rom on the phone). The phone became unstable, constantly restarting itself. Sometimes restarting quickly, sometimes after a few minutes (reaching Android). I tried to unlock the bootloader, by tapping 7 times on MIUI Version, enabling USB Debugging [I did not enable OEM unlocking unfortunately...] and run the flashtool. The flashtool reported that the phone was unlocked. And after restarting, the phone reports to be unlocked. ADB confirms this too. But after unlocking the phone, it never ever again reached to Android, restarting itself always after exactly 8-9 seconds. I can get into recovery mode and fastboot, but it will still restart. In Fastboot, my pc recognizes the phone as an Android Phone. Is there a magical way to get out of this loop?
Similar thing happened to twice. My power button was kinda stuck (not noticeable to eyes thoughts). Flicking onto the power button real hard solved the issue.

The problem persist when I completely remove the connector of the power/ volume button... When I push the power button I feel that the button moves and I hear a click-sound. Something else must be the cause of the problem. But still thanks for your help.
i have the same issue, did you find any solution to the problem?
Have the same problem is there any solution?
I don't have the phone so I cannot say this will solve the issue, however this sounds like a problem with the battery, something similar happened to my Redmi Go. The voltage should be low enough that the system boots, but just as it starts up the voltage drops to the point it reboots.
Solved it!!
I have Played with the power button and press it several times and it help.
I think the button was stuck or something close to that.
Thanks for you help guys!

Chance 1: Power button bug
Chance 2: EMMC failed and your phone is long gone.

Thank you! This was the issue. There is no way to tell that the power button is stuck. But it is and was causing my Poco F1 to bootloop even in fastboot or recovery mode. A symptom to look out for: your phone randomly locking once in a while due to this.

i booted in TWRP for 8-9 minutes with full brightness & no timeout but then mine didn't go into bootloop... recovery's getting powered but OS isnt?
Same thing happened to my F1, I press and flicked my power button hard and it worked. My problem happened maybe because the hard cover pushing the button too tight because it sometimes lock it self. Thank you for the tips! Just made account to reply to this thread.

Realme 1 random bugs/issues after Software update C.49 (May 20th 2020). Plz HELP

After I updated to C.49, my phone is acting weird...
1) Power Button is not working properly
2) Random emergency Call Screen and Power Reboot/Off Screen.
3) When I tried hard rebooting to go into recovery....it shows recovery mode at bottom for 10s and the reboots again to recovery mode text at bottom. It does not go into Menu of selection of English and Chinese language. This continues infinite times...Until finally it decides to boot to main home screen. But the Power button and Emergency screen/Reboot screen issue continues..
4) I tried factory reset of system setting...Same issue remained.
5) I finally tried factory reset wiping all data..Since the Version is latest C.49, which I believe has issues, the Emergency screen and Power Reboot Screens and Power Button not functioning properly continues..
6) I downloaded CPH1861EX_11_OTA_0490_all_sWtP8RDIvyoU.ozip from realme support. Tried updating that software in the phone..
But it lead to point (3) which I stated above...Same vibrating/rebooting after every 3 to 5 secs but not going into recovery Mode..It continued for 1 full day until battery died..Then I charged the phone for sometime and it continued its same funky routine of infinite rebooting and stopping at recovery Mode text.
But, eventually, after few hours, it booted normally to main screen.....But the problem was still there.
7) Now, even if try to shut down..from Power reboot/off screen...It shuts but in few seconds reboot again to main screen. So I cannot even shut it down.
8) I may try to download C.48 version (2.16 GB) and update from SD Card somehow..I don't know if it will revert back to different Version...But gotta try.
Or if there is enhanced or latest or custom update newer than C.49 available in market. maybe I should root or install that.
Frustrating...
How to get rid of this bug? I guess have to wait for new patch or something or next update. Service Centers are not open..because of Lockdown in Mumbai.
Please help, if someone knows the solution or had to deal with similar issue.
