Support on this thread is for XenonHD related issues only.
While we do not mind helping, its getting impossible to sort through issues that are ROM related or not. Persistent non-ROM related issues are best suited for the Verizon Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Section.
Below is a few things I would appreciate you list when you are having issues so we have as much information as possible when trying to help you with your problems.
Is this a Clean flash
Is this the stock kernel
What firmware revision are you on
What gapps package are you using
Have you had this issue on other ROMs
Do you have any apps that change/modify system preferences (Xposed, etc)
Do you have any task killers installed

First ?

Wow. This ROM runs great!

Pure Excellence!

Best Note 2 lollipop without a doubt!
Holy crap I don't know where to start by telling you, how thankful I am for this!
I'd like to share my experience!
I used this with open gapps mini along with Agni kernal right off the bat on install. I cannot find any problems at all! Its feature rich tons of excellent customizations not offered on any other ROM!
This is how ROM's should be!
Even data has been outstanding,
I did eventually have to delete the APN like on all other Lollipops I have driven today across 3 Midwestern states and my data has been solid!
I'm extremely pleased!
Bluetooth GPS hotspot everything is flawless!
On first boot it took a good 3mins on the logo once it booted oddly it booted to a blackscreen only option I had was with power button to restart or turn off. I choose restart and ever since its extremely perfect!
Thanks!

Callrecorder is there. You should see a record button display while on a call. It will be saved in /sdcard/CallRecordings. Also, I'm not gonna lie to you. Data, like every ROM since 5.0 has its moments.

I changed the path but forgot to change the link, sorry about that

This is the new daily driver on the wife's Note 2.
I was so impressed, I poked around on c0urier.net and found a build for my S3.... It's my daily driver now too. Thanks for the good work!

Haha @big_edd I thought you was supposed to be the test dummy before your wife gets it? I know I'm comfortable giving this one to my wife. I'm so worn out of hearing something is wrong this or that isn't working lol I seen it on the forum but didn't pay much attention to it just cause it was so new and very little talk. Absolutely worth it! Fantastic ROM!

Just so you know, I don't have an s3 and changing the vib intensity will cause a fc, I'll get that taken care of hopefully soon.

I'm going to give this a whirl...open gapps okay to use with this? Does the stock kernel have O/C capability and if not would Shift-L kernel be okay or would something else be recommended?

@Gulfstream 650 I used Open gappps mini on both devices.
One I used Agni the other I left stock. I prefer Agni cause it seems to be the only Kernal with Volume boost.
Sadly after 48 hours or so the Mobile data started messing up and had to remove that odd APN just like all the other Lollipops on both devices.
Also I've had numerous glitches and actual device freezes and battery pulls today. Both my Notes seem to be running poor. Seems like something is stacking up. But that's outta my league I just now how to mess things up and make problems
Battery drain seems average.
I still like the numerous Modded features compared to others things like SuperSU is preinstalled in the settings screen along with screen recording and numerous other cool features.
Using LayersManager is kinda cool but none seem to be flawless always some kinda text somewhere I can't read after I think I got it fixed lol. Also wired headset button doesn't end call.
Good luck give it a few days to settle in. My first 2 days it ran great.

Do google voice commands through bluetooth work?

Could someone post a link to the gapps they are using with this rom? Thanks guys, excited to give it a try!
UPDATE:
Going to give stock open gapps a try http://opengapps.org/ for anyone else with the same question. I'll report back with a review.
UPDATE2:
Had to install twrp (had philz) to get open gapps to install. Installed the Rom and Gapps and signed into my account, and WOW... I was coming from (don't laugh at me) android 4.3 I believe.. This Rom is blazing fast! I have 5.1 on my Nvidia Shield tablet and Nexus 7, but didn't realize how much I was missing on my phone until now. I haven't ran into any issues yet.

I also had great success for the first few days and now the data is flaking and my BT falls over and won't turn on without a reboot. Think I'm going back to KitKat to see if I have a hardware issue or something that won't work with LP and my Note 2.

@OffTheChainz try installing an updated webview and see if your freezing persists
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...ebview-46-0-2490-41-arm-android-apk-download/

Just to be clear, I wasn't asking anyone in particular...anyone can feel free to answer my question. Thanks.

Special Thanks To: @scrosler for providing an excellent guide for beginners like us to build a stock rom. This would not have been possible without him at all! Also very special thanks to Gunthermic from (Team Average Joes) for teaching us how to troubleshoot and fix problems with my rom. He got us started on this and showed us @scrosler’s guide to build a stock rom. He has helped us so much through this entire process especially by getting the updater scripts working for the rom. Before thanking us thank those two first!
Known Issues:
None as of right now!
Donations:
Well since sh0cksquatch is only 16 years old and I (ik4evr) am 14 I do not have a paypal. BUT is you really want to send us a donation how about getting us a Google Play Gift Card Online. (Send us the code in a PM or something) Again, donations are not required at all!
Requests:
If you have any requests please tell us and we will gladly address them!
Notes:
For some reason after installing you have all of the bloatware re installed make sure you wiped everything in TWRP! Also, make sure you are not checking the option to restore data in the OOBE setup.
Wi-Fi may experience a very slight hang only once when you first setup. However, it may not apply to all people.

The fact that 10.1 ROMs are happening is rad as hell, let's keep the party going!
Hi all,
Sorry for the long wait. I know we said uploading but then we found some glitches in the Camera that made the camera stop working so me and sh0cksquatch were fixing it. Download link should be up today if not then first thing tomorrow! :fingers-crossed: Once again sorry for the long wait!

Haha, you know I was gonna ask if it had the same camera issue your old ROM did. The thing ran like a dream aside from that, good to know you got it fixed!
Links for V1 are uploaded! :good: Enjoy and if there are any problems please let us know.
"Unfortunately, Application Installer has stopped" upon first boot. Trying a second install.
EDIT: second try worked, but I did it without the Cybertronics kernel. Can't say for certain that was the culprit, but it's something to look at.

Are you sure you wiped everything in TWRP? I re installed it on my using Cybertronics Kernel and everything goes fine. Anyways, I have gotten a few pm's about giving options for choosing what to install in Aroma installer like on GigaWatts 2.0 so i'll talk with ik4evr2 and see if we can add that. It will most likely take a bit but in the mean time i'll see about the Application installer crash.

After fiddling a bunch, what I discovered was that when you say "wipe everything" you do in fact mean go into the Advanced Options in TWRP and make sure to select /system as well as /data and /cache.
EDIT: However, once I got it to boot with the Cybertronics kernel, WiFi refused to turn on. Quick dirty reflash to put the stock kernel on and bang, WiFi works again. Didn't have any of the above problems with stock.
When flashing Cybertronics Kernel, sh0cksquatch did mention (when we were working) that wi-fi may take a min or two to turn on first time. Try toggling the switch in the first time setup. If not it should work after you skip through the setup.

Flashing this now. Thanks!
Running right now. So far it runs excellently. I was running the Vanir build prior to flashing this one but am noticing better performance and stability out of this one. Great work!
One question I did have out of curiosity was whether or not anyone has found a way to use CM11 themes or icon packs on these Lollipop builds for the G3?

Same data bug..needing to use killall rild ... Was great until first reboot to update su..then data went dead. Nav icon says as well.. Camera works but video fc upon stopping..etc, etc , etc
Does seem a little more polished up with some added features though...
Lovely.. Thank you

Yeppers...just letting everyone know they are the same... Nothing more. Nothing less
Gps works. Not sure about teethering
Every song I attempt to play I get a "DSP has stopped working" song still plays fine though.. Not sure why, I have wiped cache and dalvik. still get the error.
Everything else seems to be working properly! Great ROM, also the data bug is still there, but that's across all 5.0 G3 roms right now. Nice to have the new 5.0.1 Lollipop :good:
I don't know if I could ever go back to 4.4.4; loving this 5.0 way too much!!!
lollipop
For the most part. Most 5.0 builds are running good.. Small minor bugs, no big deal however, being there fact that they're so new they are too close to stock for my liking. I love being able to customize so I stick with all the 4.4.4 kk builds for now. Love testing these new ones. Looking forward to something more custom and less stock. We all know that won't be long.. Keep up the hard work. OAAdam11. You're a beast... How is aicp 4.4.4 kk coming along?

Edit 3(Final): Rom boots up. Network working. Connects to LTE. Wifi working. Very smooth.

Great job! but camera doesn't work and the phone isn't sleep(cpu is stilll running when screen is off). Sorry for my English
Very nice! First official 7.1.1 ROM There is also one more bug, when I tried to launch a torch from a quick settings the phone rebooted itself.

Feature List is WIP. Will be delivered later on this week.
There just was no time to do this this morning 4AM, jenkins just took up too much time
Q2: Never tested that, my SIM doesn't support it, neither is there LTE coverage for it here. Would be cool if you could try and report back.
Error7: You probably had a recovery that was using "z3c" as the device name, I went for the real Sony codename (aries). Might not have been the best idea, as it was already misstaken as a Xiaomi Mi2 here https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/5ldrav/carbon_rom_android_711_nightlies_out_for_xiaomi/
Regarding cam: this phone is going to kill me. On my testbuild I did yesterday cam was working flawlessly...
I'll review the weekly and see if I can upload a new one.
Also, is anyone here experiencing any NFC issues? Its working fine on my Z3C, but @ronin86 keeps on having issues with it with it.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't tried NFC, switched back to my ROM. I was just trying out new ROMs. Great job on the ROM btw, apart from camera, the ROM is pretty stable. I didn't want to switch, but camera is a deal breaker for me.
I would love to switch to 7.1.1. Maybe you might want to consider switching the bootanim... its kinda choppy

Does this ROM work with MultiROM?
First of all a
REAL BIG THX
to @Myself5 for all his engagement and calmness while the developing time....
Concerning NFC : with the last prerelease Version i decided to flash first the ROM, then directly without booting newest OpenGapps nano and SuperSU 2.79 - And after booting the miracle happens - NFC switch appears and keeps static - and it reacts to a NFC chip by opening the related website...
I also encountered a permanent wakelock maybe related to charging and not rebooting afterward .... i have to check
Cam was working in the prerelease version
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you

Ikr, but when I pressed it to see if it's working my phone rebooted itself.
EDIT: There is also one more bug, related to phone calls. I can hear person which is talking to me clearly, but the person to which I'm talking hear something like (echo of my voice?). That's the only problem in term of phone calls, because I didn't experienced reboots during phone calls, and it appears that the volume is changing
@hmnt
You need an unlocked bootloader - the newest working recovery (TWRP) - and Open Gapps (or similar )
Put the flashable *zips on sd-card (doesn't matter if intern or extern) Enter Recovery - i recommend a factory reset - then flash the rom and afterwards Open Gapps.
Cheers

For me camera works but it is very blurry and in not very good lightened rooms there is no light at all just black everywhere
@Myself5 are the audio routes sorted so in call volume is changeable now?
for now a big thank you!!!
consider to write on the top that the unlocked bootloader is necessary. for people don't know it could be good. sorry for my english!
i'll try to support in an economic way too, if possible.
It's good that you came back haha.

I really liked using CarbonROM on my previous phones. With SLiMM now dead it's nice to see a good alternative for the z3c. I thought development on the z3c was dying. Thank you for bringing Nougat to this phone. I was really close to getting a new one. Not many options for a compact SD801 or higher. Dislike large phones. Was considering a OnePlus 3T only because I can put my work sim in with my personal sim.

AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

FAQ
How often will builds be produced?
When I have the time and when I want to.
Some feature is not working, can you fix it?
If it is working on Lineage, I'll look into it. If not then it will probably get fixed eventually by the Lineage team.
I dirty flashed and now have some issues
I recommend a clean flash and stock kernel. If you ignore this, then please don't post your problems here before trying a clean flash.

I've been using it for the last couple days. It's comparable to other nougat Lineage based roms for stability and battery life.
Hi bro
Congratulations for the new rom.
Just wanted to suggest uploading to another site like AFH or Mediafire, Mega is hard to download from using phone, and their app has a lot of bugs, thanks again :good:
If you need me to upload it for you, I'm here (just in case your Internet connection was bad or something...)
Regards.

Feature requests should be directed to the AOKP team, maybe AOKP G+? I just compile from their sources.
its really stable`? how is battery life
I installed it yesterday, and I expected more functionality... I don't know if it was bugged on my device or this ROM doesn't support it, but Quick Settings panel wasn't working at all. Can't wait for updates though!

Did you clean flash?
"Quick Settings" not working is a big issue, and other ROM users should have noticed that as well..but they didn't, make sure you cleaned install this ROM and wiped (system, data, cache, dalvik cache) before installing.

Hey Guys, this is a private build I use for myself because I enjoy building for Nexus devices.
I'll update the post to look fancier later when I feel like it but I personally like it simple.
Standard Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked device and/or device going thermonuclear.
PS: I test builds on my own device before posting, you are on your own if you flash builds not highlighted.
Also PS: What doesn't work in LOS 15.1 like BT call, shouldn't work here too. I don't have BT devices so I can't test this out.

Hey, I'll be supporting for both but PIE is still in Alpha testing phase.
Thus far oreo works best for me.
Flashing should be pretty straightforward. I don't think I'll be posting any screenshots on flashing instructions. Mostly if I will its just the about phone section, but if you have anything you can definitely ask or even PM me.
Hey, i'm just joking... don't take serious...
Oreo is always stable and best for Nexus 5... I'll flash it and let you know ...
FYI: Oreo is missing LatinIME no idea why. will fix soon "hopefully"
In all seriousness.
If anyone wants to try PIE. This is the direct link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fOTGXxUsOYMzHJ-tmovBBdNBv-6lDUNn
Freshly built.
after flashing one day review:
Suggestions:
1. There is no keyboard, so i have installed manually.
2. APN settings have to type manually.
3. Battery drains very fast.
4. I have installed Lawnchair v2 apk, it is better than Trebuchet.
Good things:
1. Good and smooth experience
2. Direct Home button animation is awesome (without options to select)
3. Don't find any new difference.

Pie is working overall well, only NFC is not detected.
Hi! I tested Pie on my Nexus 5: everything is working well,I'm really impressed. But the NFC is not detected,it should be present in the settings but it is missing. In my previous Pie based on AOSP the NFC was detected. Overall it is a very stable ROM.Thanks.
Very nice job with this rom. Runs great. Great having AICP on Hammerhead. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing your personal builds. Much appreciated :good:
Offline Google Assistant ?
Great ROM. Thanks for taking the time to build it.
Could anyone try to use Google Assistant while Offline?
I'm on the latest Pie build and it's not working.
Also Online works fine to start applications (e.g. Google music) but then fails to control them (e.g. skip song)

Quick question - I'm just curious. All the other Pie ROMs (well, most) demand that the system partition size be increased, but this one doesn't. It does take a long time to boot - maybe that's in some way related? But everything works fine - for my purposes, anyway.
Kudos to @KiD3991 not only for the continued N5 support but also for making the Pie upgrade simple.
Edit: So my question is - why does this ROM not need a larger system partition?
